Blood Magus-Update + Announcement

Hi there! It's been a while.

So, an update first. I apologize for the little communication for so long. Ever since I stopped working on Blood Magus, I took a step back from my socials and stopped checking on things so much. I mentioned it a couple times to people who asked on Discord, but I got hit with a few personal events while I was writing that really messed with my momentum. And when I tried to get back to it, I found I just didn't have the motivation.

I intended to start with another story soon after that, but never really got around to it. I guess I really needed a break.

But I've had a break now, and I'm back to writing. I've started on a new series just to get my blood flowing a bit, and I've been very happy with my output. It's been consistent, and I'm happy with what I'm writing. In the next week or so, I'll probably put it up somewhere for people to read. Obviously, nobody is obligated to read it, but writing is seriously something I love doing, and part of that is sharing it with the world.

As for the announcement. I was visiting some author friends earlier this month and when they heard I had a book's worth of Blood Magus written on RoyalRoad without putting it on Amazon, they got pretty mad at me for missing out on showing it to an entire other community. They sat me down and one of them pretty much set up the whole Amazon launch for me, since I'd never self-published before. And recently, it just came out.

Obviously, I imagine you've read the story already, and I won't ask you to buy it again. But ratings are very appreciated, and if you have Kindle Unlimited, even just downloading the story is truly a huge help. I don't know if Blood Magus will reach a larger audience on Amazon, but if it did, it would be a massive source of motivation toward me starting on it again.
