Season 2 – Part 40: Mafia Combat Trial (And Draven's Big Mistake)
Location: Underground Mafia Arena
Celestia stared at the massive underground fighting ring, feeling mildly concerned and extremely annoyed.
"So, let me get this straight," she said, crossing her arms. "To prove myself to the mafia, I have to fight... five of your best guys?"
Dante grinned. "Yep."
"And I can't use my vampire abilities?"
"Nope."
Celestia sighed. "This is stupid."
Draven, who was too entertained by the situation, leaned against the railing. "I don't know, love. It might be fun to see you struggle for once."
Celestia snapped her head toward him. "Excuse me?"
Draven smirked. "I mean, you're powerful, obviously, but without your supernatural abilities... well, let's just say I wouldn't bet on you winning."
The entire arena went silent.
Lyra's popcorn fell out of her hands.
Lorenzo gasped so hard he nearly inhaled his own tongue.
Dante burst into laughter. "Ohhh, you messed up, Nightshade."
Celestia slowly turned toward Draven, her eyes narrowing. "You wouldn't... bet on me?"
Draven, completely unaware of his impending doom, shrugged. "I'm just saying, this isn't your usual battlefield."
Dante whistled. "Wow. You really just dug your own grave, huh?"
Celestia cracked her knuckles. "Alright, Draven. Since you're so confident in my failure, let's make a bet."
Draven hesitated. "A bet?"
Celestia smirked. "If I win this fight, you owe me."
Draven raised an eyebrow. "Owe you what?"
Her smirk widened. "I get to make you do one thing of my choosing. No questions asked."
Draven chuckled. "Fine. But if you lose, you have to do something for me."
"Deal," Celestia said without hesitation.
Lyra facepalmed. "Draven, you absolute idiot. Do you want to sleep on the couch for the rest of your life?"
Draven waved her off. "Relax. This will be fun."
Dante shook his head, grinning. "Alright, lovebirds, let's get this show started."
The Fight Begins
Celestia stepped into the ring, rolling her shoulders. Across from her stood five mafia fighters-big, burly, and very, very smug.
Dante leaned against the railing. "Alright, boys! Take it easy on her!"
One of the fighters-a giant werewolf hybrid named Marco laughed. "Oh, don't worry, boss. We'll be gentle."
Celestia smiled. It was not a friendly smile.
"Gentle?" she repeated. "That's adorable."
DING! The fight started.
Three seconds later, Marco was on the ground, unconscious.
The crowd exploded.
Draven's smug expression vanished.
Lyra screamed with joy.
Dante? Dante dropped his drink.
Celestia cracked her knuckles and turned to the remaining four fighters. "Who's next?"
The second guy charged. Celestia sidestepped, grabbed his wrist, and flipped him over her shoulder.
CRASH.
Draven blinked. "What the."
The third and fourth fighters attacked at the same time. Bad idea.
Celestia ducked under a punch, elbowed one in the stomach, and kicked the other straight in the chest.
BOOM. Both hit the ground. Hard.
The last guy-a vampire held up his hands and immediately sat down.
"I'm good," he said quickly. "I like my bones unbroken."
Silence.
Then...
Lyra: "HOLY HELL, SHE JUST WIPED THE FLOOR WITH THEM!"
Lorenzo: "SHE'S A MONSTER."
Dante: "I AM SO GLAD SHE'S NOT MY ENEMY."
And Draven?
Draven, realizing he had completely underestimated his girlfriend, swallowed hard.
Celestia grinned up at him.
"So, Draven," she called. "What was that about me losing?"
Draven, for the first time in centuries, felt fear.
Dante howled with laughter. "Oh man, Nightshade, you are so screwed."
Celestia brushed off her jacket, stepped out of the ring, and smirked at Draven.
"Now," she said sweetly, "about that favor you owe me..."

Location: Mafia Headquarters – Tensai-Kai Lounge
Draven sat stiffly on the leather couch, his face completely blank.
Across from him, Celestia leaned back, grinning like a devil.
"A bet is a bet, Draven," she reminded, her eyes glinting with pure mischief.
Dante was already grinning in anticipation. "Oh, this is gonna be good."
Lyra? Lyra was recording everything.
Lorenzo, sipping his drink, whispered, "Rest in peace, my guy."
Draven sighed. "Fine. What do you want me to do?"
Celestia's grin widened. "I want you to wear..."
She snapped her fingers.
Lyra hurriedly handed over a giant, fluffy, pastel-pink outfit.

Draven stared. "...What is that?"
Celestia smirked. "A magical girl costume."
Silence.
Dante choked on his drink. "Wait, WHAT?!"
Lorenzo fell off his chair.
Lyra was wheezing. "Oh my god-YES!"
Draven, in complete disbelief, blinked. "You want me... a 700-year-old vampire lord... to wear a pink magical girl outfit?"
Celestia grinned innocently. "Yep."
Draven slowly turned toward Lorenzo. "Kill me."
Lorenzo: "Nah, bro. I wanna see this."
Dante wiped tears of laughter. "Damn, Nightshade. You really did this to yourself."
One Humiliating Outfit Change Later...
Draven stepped out of the dressing room.
He wore a frilly, sparkling pink dress with a big ribbon on his chest, white knee-high boots, and a matching tiara.
The room exploded.
Dante fell to the floor, laughing hysterically.
Lorenzo couldn't breathe.
Lyra had tears in her eyes. "This is the best day of my life."
Celestia? Celestia was smirking like a queen.
Draven, dead inside, crossed his arms. "Happy?"
Celestia held up a giant pink wand. "Nope. You need to do the pose."
Draven glared. "...Absolutely not."
Celestia tilted her head. "Hmm. I wonder what would happen if I told the entire vampire council about this."
Draven's eye twitched.
Lorenzo snorted. "Bro, just do it."
Draven exhaled deeply. Then, with the most deadpan expression ever, he lifted his arms, twirled, and did the pose.
"In the name of love and justice, I shall punish you."
The entire room collapsed into chaos.
Dante was on the floor, pounding the ground.
Lorenzo was crying.
Lyra was now live-streaming.
Draven, still in full magical girl form, muttered, "I'm going to murder all of you."
Celestia, wiping a fake tear, sighed dramatically. "That was beautiful."
Draven glared. "I will get revenge."
Celestia just winked. "I look forward to it."
Meanwhile...
In the shadows, Lucian Devereaux watched the scene unfold from a hidden monitor.
He tilted his head. "This... is the vampire lord I've heard so much about?"
His second-in-command, Damien, shrugged. "I guess?"
Lucian stared at the screen, watching Draven twirl in a pink dress.
"...Maybe we don't have to take him seriously after all."
Damien nodded. "Agreed."
