Jimmy waited anxiously for Jones’ reply. He was almost sure that Jones was going to reject the request, as Jimmy hadn’t had enough time, or mana to make him the perfect, order-following cone. He was sure that he had bought himself a world of trouble, and he thought that it may be the case based on the way that Mika was pacing around behind him. She was walking around, trying to find the best spot to shoot the clone from if she had to.

"Brother..." Jones held his breath, "I want to help you fight the enemy, not dinosaurs."

"I know," He nodded, "But remember, you’re a Dinosaur Tamer, just like I am. It might sound like a bad idea to split the two of us apart, but you saw what our friends were going through. They buried five of their people already, and if we don’t help them, they’re gonna be burying a lot more people soon. Tonight, even, so you gotta go help them while I look over the grasslands."

Jones was still hesitant, but thankfully, he wasn’t hostile. He did not want to visit the underworld, because just like Jimmy, he knew that there were a lot of issues to fix across the grasslands, a war to end, their people to protect, however, he could also see that Jimmy was upset, so he couldn’t refuse the time-sensitive request for long.

"Alright, brother," Jones said, "I’ll go and help those shapeshifters, but if it’s a lost cause, you should know that I won’t put my life at risk for them. I already died once, and I don’t plan to die again."

"That’s fair," He smiled, "Now come on, let’s get out of here. I’ll clone a Compy for you, and then we’ll be heading off."

Jimmy had initially forgotten to bring an extra Compy clone for his clone, but this was a minor issue. They were in the cloning room already, and with Jones being cooperative with today’s time-sensitive plan, and not to forget the fact that he seemingly bought, and accepted the blatant lie that he was Jimmy’s brother, every other following task seemed infinitely easier!

They made a Compy clone in seconds, and to make sure that Jones knew what he was doing, Jimmy had him tame the Compy clone before they released it in the room. 𝚏𝕣𝕖𝚎𝚠𝚎𝚋𝚗𝐨𝐯𝕖𝕝.𝕔𝐨𝕞

Thankfully, Jones didn’t make any mistakes. The Compy clone was as docile as the tens of them that Jimmy had made, and tamed in the past.

"Looks like you didn’t forget how to use your magic," He said, "Good job, brother."

Now that they were set, the three of them then made it out of the bunker. This barely took fifteen minutes, but paired with the ride down here, and the time he had spent cloning himself, Jimmy figured that he had spent an hour in the bunker all together, so in a sense, he was already running behind schedule.

The shapeshifters were waiting for them, they were waiting for their hero, so Jimmy didn’t want to waste any more time from this point onwards. Likewise, he didn’t intend to ride Gutaxun down to the grasslands again, as he was aware of how tired his lovely, loyal pet was. They needed QTs, otherwise known as the biggest, and fastest flying reptiles to ever exist!

When they made it out of the bunker, they found Anna’s parents out of the home cavern. They had just landed, and from the looks of it, they also had horrid news to report!

"Jimmy!" They called out, "We saw three groups coming from the grasslands. We couldn’t get close enough to count them, but each group had somewhere around fifty, to a hundred people. Weirdly enough... the groups were far away from each other, as if they didn’t come from the same tribe."

"Of course..." Jimmy sighed, "Don’t worry about it, we’ll figure something out. My mother said something about a group too, and you probably flew above the same one. Did you see them close to the edge?"

"Yes," They replied, "What do you want us to do, Jimmy? It’s nearly dusk, so there’s no point in attacking them now."

"There is no point to it, yes," He nodded, "In fact, we need you to fly us somewhere right now, but after we get back home, I need you to keep busy, okay? Patrol the pathway, just in case the enemy tries to ambush us. There’s something weird going on here, and we need to be prepared for the worst. Those groups you saw may not be from the same tribe, but they’re still working together, they have the same goal; They want us dead."

Anna’s parents were frustrated, but cooperative, so they simply nodded.

Other than that, they tried their best to ignore Jones, the carbon-copy of Jimmy, and tried not to make a big deal out of the fact that Jimmy ’created’ a brother for himself. They were concerned with the matter of the invaders, yes, but as they looked at Jones, the look on their faces visibly begged for an answer, even though they tried hard to mind their business.

"Don’t worry about my brother Jones," He said, "He’s alright."

Anna’s parents did not know what was going on, and even though they were curious, they knew well enough not to ask questions around matters that they could not comprehend. They’ve seen the technology down there in the bunker, and likewise, they associated every weird thing that Jimmy did, with the said bunker. They kept quiet, and walked back to their pet QTs.

This was going to be a busy night for everyone, as they were expecting a large-scale invasion, so every topic that was not related to the invasion did not stick around in their minds for long.

Jones did not pay attention to the people around him, and he tried not to think about the war all that much, because he was given another task, a mission that he was to follow. He played around with Gutaxun as everyone else spoke, and as he laughed, and enjoyed himself thanks to Gutaxun’s cheerful songs, and soft head-buds, he couldn’t help but feel a great sense of longing over his own ’lost’ pet.

"They killed my boy..." He whispered, "How can I even call another dinosaur my own anymore? They killed the first dinosaur I tamed..."

Jones was upset, he was vengeful, but he tried to stay focused on the task. He was sure that his brother, Jimmy, was going to avenge each and every death the tribe faced, including the death of pet dinosaurs, so he walked away from Gutaxun, and was ready to take off.

"The jungle’s gonna keep me busy," He sighed.
