Afterword

So it happened, Blue Phoenix came to an end. I would like to take a moment to thank everyone, new or old readers, who have followed my story. Blue Phoenix would never have become what it is today without your constant support!

I am sitting here feeling a mixture of sadness and happiness; I guess the feeling is best described as nostalgia.

I started writing in September 2015, so it has been almost two and a half years since then. In those years I managed to release 789 chapters, something that I feel incredibly proud of.

When I reread Blue Phoenix I sometimes cringe, sometimes cry and sometimes laugh. Blue Phoenix was my first attempt at writing something, and I feel that the journey I have taken was rather amazing. I have so many things in Blue Phoenix that, looking back, I would change now, but if I did, it would no longer be Blue Phoenix.

I hope that everything that I have learned from Blue Phoenix will be used in the future, that I will continue to improve my writing and be able to bring stories to readers that enjoy reading them.

My next project is Condemning the Heavens. I have been planning it for a long time together with my beta readers, and have been writing a little bit whenever I have had extra time. f𝘳𝚎𝐞we𝐛𝑛𝐨𝘃e𝘭.co𝘮

Condemning the Heavens will begin shortly. If you cannot wait, then the first 15 chapters are on Patreon already.

The first set of merchandise for Condemning the Heavens has already been completed and will be sent out to my $50 patrons in February alongside T-shirts and mugs from Blue Phoenix.

Here is, once again, a summary of Condemning the Heavens. Condemning the Heavens is very different from Blue Phoenix, but I truly hope that you will all give it a try, and if you have questions about it, then I would be happy to answer them! In the continent of Chang’an humans had lived as livestock and slaves to the Primordial Beasts. These beasts were ferocious, bloodthirsty and overwhelmingly powerful, but even so, the humans managed to prevail in the face of despair.

As the human race grew stronger the Primordial Beasts fought back with relentless fierceness, rousing beast hordes to engage in frenzied battles over the land.

Every single child on the continent was taught martial arts for the sake of fighting these Primordial Beasts, yet many of them were sent straight to their death.

In this world filled with constant battle, a young boy was born. This young boy was hoping to become the most outstanding cultivator, but who would have thought that his talent was so poor that he could not even cultivate?

As the boy was filled with despair over his unfortunate situation, a life-changing event occurred which would forever leave a scar in his mind, pushing him to transcend his limits and grow to become a legend.
