After an Hour and a half of carving wood, everyone was mostly done with their work. I did a totem with Gabriel which was pure white, with a Dove, a Lamb, and a Fish. My daughter and Monica made a darker colored totem with purple-colored wood that turned that color due to their Magic Essence, it had a horned wolf, a bat, and a tarantula. Then Kaguya and Katherine's totem was pink colored due to their magic essence, it had a butterfly, a cicada, and a moth.

Lastly, the Druids were also with us carving their own totem, all three of them made a beautiful totem representing the fallen ones, it featured a turtle, a squirrel, and mama fire bear. It looked the most beautiful out of us all… Ah right, Mark wasn't just doing nothing, he made another totem, this one had a lion, a tiger, and an eagle on it.

"Nice! All the totems are ready!" I celebrated. "Thanks a lot everyone! And I know you're all exhausted, so you can rest for the rest of the day… It is a bit too early for snacks though, we'll cook lunch in a bit I suppose. For now just rest."

As I said that, my daughter and Monica walked back inside the house while Gabriel flew to my bed and just laid there, falling asleep right away. As for Kaguya, she disappeared into the soil, appearing elsewhere in the garden, Katherine looked at the Fey that showed up, a started chatting with them.

"Hey you guys! How's it going?" She wondered.

"Kyuuuh!"

"Chuuu, chuuu!"

"Ah yeah, I suppose it's been quite peaceful for now, but don't think it'll be that way forever!" Katherine said. "Back then some really nefarious guys showed up, so keep your eyes wide open for any danger."

As I saw them chatting, Mark patted my shoulders.

"So we'll place the totems in the domain?" He wondered curiously. "Hm? Oh, you want to talk with Katherine?"

"Yep…" I muttered. "But she's kind of busy with the Fey… Ah, I think I'll miss her, there's like… What? Three or two days left until she leaves?"

"T-That little? I guess a month went flying…" Muttered Mark. "To think a month ago we didn't even have this Domain."

"Yeah, and the Druid were still secretive and all, now we're all a big family," I giggled. "Also Gabriel hadn't showed up yet either… Life sure changed a lot."

"Lady Elayne, we've finished our totem as well," Rudras said. "Is it of your liking?"

"Oh yes! I love it!" I nodded.

"Really? We put a lot of love into it…" Judith said. "What a relief you liked it!"

"We ended selfishly adding a turtle and a squirrel for Jose and Emilio…" Sighed Grandma Jannis. "But we might have asked you beforehand… We also added the fire bear mother, which we thought was a nice addition so she could protect the pups."

"Ah, it's completely alright. In fact, I really love it because of that," I said with a gentle smile. "Thank you so much for being here with me and everyone else… I'm really grateful and happy you decided to join us instead of still living in secrecy… And this totem is beautiful, we'll use it happily to honor these people and the little bears' mom, and to… well, to hope they can rest in peace as well."

"Ah, please, it's nothing, if anything our presence here was out of nowhere… We felt rather… well, like we were invading your space, so it was one of the reasons why we didn't want to show ourselves," Jannis muttered.

"Maybe if we would have done it earlier, what happened to Grandma Jose and Emilio…" Muttered Rudras, gripping his fists tightly.

"You don't have to blame yourselves for that," Mark said. "I know it's painful, and I am also mourning them by your side, but it doesn't mean you must blame yourselves… I am sure they wouldn't like that either."

"He's right, what happened… happened, as rude as it might sound perhaps," I said. "There's nothing we can do to change the past, and simply blaming yourself for it will not really solve anything either."

"That's right, you heard her, right Rudras? So don't be like this," Judith said. "Just be happy we're together here right now. That we're alive, and stronger than ever as a family."

"T-Thanks, and I'm sorry… I suppose I sometimes cannot help but say such things. Perhaps I need some time alone, to meditate with nature and reconnect with the winds," Rudras muttered. "If you excuse me, Goddess Elayne…"

Rudras was still mourning and sad, it was understandable, I couldn't really do much for him, these were things that people had to overcome on their own through a lot of time.

"Of course, take care Rudras."

"Thank you…"

He nodded as he quickly turned into an eagle and flew away, soaring high into the skies.

As we looked at him fly away, Jannis sighed.

"Life and death are part of nature, dying by itself is nothing but something natural that comes to us all…" Jannis said. "Although it is very sad that it happened, it doesn't mean we should simply deny death and abhor it either. Grandpa Jose was very old, his time was already coming for him eventually… even if he had a tragic end, I am sure he's happy now, he has become one with nature. Our ultimate life goal."

"I-I suppose he died fighting and defending the family he loved…" Judith smiled lightly. "And Emilio… Ah… Emilio… He was still so young though. I…"

"It's alright dear, I am here for you," Jannis hugged Judith as she started crying.

I felt bad too, I guess a few words suddenly turned this into something very sad…

"I-I'm very sorry…" I sighed. "I wish I could… do something but…"

Flash!

"Huh?"

But out of nowhere, I saw a little something, a twinkle of green light coming from the grass beneath.

It was small, but it slowly became larger, taking the shape of a little squirrel that climbed my body, sitting over my shoulder.

"E-Eh?" I was left speechless.

"I-Is that you, Emilio?!" Judith cried, running towards the little squirrel.
