Chapter 1545: Catch These Hands Dammit! (1)

Majestic Territories weren’t randomly created or decided by anyone other than the user. They were shaped by the contents of their soul. All that information about them contributed to what the Territory would do, and what it would look like.

Once an expert reached the Incandescent Stage, the process to decide what the Territory would be like began. The likeness of the Imaginary GeoScape could be manufactured by the user, but the soul usually gave up details about its traits automatically to the budding Territory in the physical body.

And indeed, this was why a Majestic Territory was expelled; it existed within the user’s very flesh.

This was all to say, an expert couldn’t have more than one Territory. That Territory they possessed could have wildly versatile powers, and perhaps it could be split to forge two weaker ones – Fractional Territories, like the ones Skullius created during his process to become Divine – but it was always the same Territory, not a new one.

Skullius was the only being on Aigas to ever possess two different Territories, but that wasn’t because of some merit of his own.

While he only had one soul, he had possessed two bodies with differing ideals and powers.

His possessed original form, the Hybrid Luman, had created the Territory, Aphotic Catacomb of the Daemon, which was based on his Insurgent Magnus powers.

His copy, the Warmoth’s Progeny, had created the Purified Cadaver’s Impartial Felicity, based on Warmoth and Maximum Catalyst abilities.

Indeed, it was no merit of his own that these powers existed. It was because of Fulgardt’s and Serenity’s Influence.

...

...What happened next during this raging battle, however, was solely because of Skullius’ ingenuity.

"Majestic Territory Expulsion, Demesne of Maximums!" the Hybrid Warmoth cried.

His creative juices were flowing, his mind racing, his powers surging.

This was an effect of a Supreme Skill he had created upon transcending to Divinity, [Fiend’s Clairvoyant Fever]. The skill incorporated a very powerful ability Skullius had had access to because of the transformation he saw as a result of the Luminant Seed all those months back.

[Beyond the Hype]!

The skill had allowed Skullius to process everything around him fifteen times faster than the norm, which also accelerated how he dealt with challenges.

[Fiend’s Clairvoyant Fever] went beyond that, however. Not only did it accelerate all the activity in Skullius’ body – not just his senses – by thirty times, it also boosted the rate at which all his energies were mobilised for a specific action – mana especially.

It was because of this skill that Skullius was inspired.

He couldn’t create a whole new Territory now that he was one being with a single set of ideals, but he could manipulate the interior of the monastery he’d summoned – as it was his Andori – and use it as an Imaginary GeoScape!

It took a freakish level of skill with mana and Nitros (Divine energy in general), but luckily for the Hybrid Warmoth, other than Kintar, no one on Aigas could outright beat him in that regard. His understanding of the mechanics of Aigas’ power system and how it was created was also near the peak, and thus, when it came to the task at hand, he managed it in less than a second.

Fulgardt narrowed his eyes and tensed ever so slightly when the name of the Territory was announced. He sensed Nitros exploding out... but nothing within the monastery changed.

The eight gates remained.

The eight statues remained.

The impeccable detail on this layer of the building was unchanged.

Something was different, though, he just couldn’t put a finger on it.

Skullius didn’t give him time to dissect what he was doing. The Immoral could very well shut down his plan if given time. A telling sign was that the ring of light around the Immoral remained as strong as ever under them, even in the monastery.

’Let’s see now. You don’t use Andori for [Just Light] and [Evil Darkness], Fulgardt, and yet you are far beyond me. You use Amras like me, but not Andori. I will start with that,’ the Hybrid thought, grinning.

By that, he meant attacking the fuel Fulgardt used to activate his powers.

"Inverted Destiny, Assured Touch!"

It was the name of the only kind of attack the Territory was capable of – a Primary function.

Because of the complex nature of the Territory and its purpose, Skullius only managed to grant it one Primary function, and using it drained his Amras at an alarming rate.

Amras gushed in frightening volumes from Skullius, silvery in hue... but then it turned dark and darker still, and condensed into hundreds of thousands of points around the Hybrid to form hands!

Each hand, upon completion, was laced with a ring of purple-gold around its end – evidence of Maximum Catalyst’s influence.

And following that, each darted towards Fulgardt at over two hundred and forty times the speed of light!

...!!! ƒree𝑤ebnσvel-com

The monastery was dyed with black, gold and purple.

Each hand was life-like, its aim true, and each... concerned Fulgardt.

He might not have understood fully what Maximum Catalyst was, but he did know that what made up the hands hurtling towards him wasn’t Amras embodying the shape of hands!

No.

It was Inverted Amras, something he had never come across before!

And indeed, this was the Primary function’s purpose.

Because the Territory was constructed within a building forged by an Ascendant tier Andori, Skullius managed to empower Maximum Catalyst’s properties using the Andori’s rank, doubling how fast it could make his attacks and doubling its potency as well!

This allowed him to finally use it to revert the properties of Amras!

Quite like how it was with mana – where Inverted mana was stronger – the Inverted Amras had a stronger influence as well. If it touched Fulgardt, any application of his powers that utilised Amras would be disturbed, if only slightly.

Skullius didn’t believe that he (Fulgardt) was going to remain nonchalant when the attacks coming for him now were twice as fast and thrice as lethal as before.

Even if he was...

’I’m going to run out of Amras before a minute is over at this rate, but well... flesh it!’

Some of the hands coming for the Immoral began to make a series of gestures.

Just like that, they were engulfed in puce and turquoise and transformed into [False Ticklers]!

And on top of that...

Skullius’ hand had already pointed to one of the statues behind him before he activated the Territory’s Primary function.

There was a significance to this.

He grinned and thought:

’Black the Mother!’
