Brothel Manager : Unexpected Encounter with A Hidden Family Heirloom-Chapter 517 : Thea’s Self Sacrifice???!
Hope Island…
Thea stepped forward, her hand trembling as she gripped Das's tightly. Her small fingers intertwined with his, and with a flicker of determination, she channeled the strength of the animal spirits.
Together, they unleashed a devastating wave of power that swept across the battlefield like an unrelenting storm. The insignificant members of the Taurus family fell like chickens, their bodies crumpling lifelessly to the ground.

Screams and cries echoed as chaos erupted, but amidst the carnage, the patriarch and his direct lineage stood unmoved, their faces set in grim defiance.
Even as half of their family lay slain, Ryon Taurus and his bloodline did not flinch. Not one of them stepped forward to sacrifice their lives to pass the weapon spirit to Das. The chilling resolve in their eyes spoke volumes; they would rather die than submit.
Suddenly, a sharp cry pierced the air.
"Die!" Lady Maya shouted, her voice trembling with fury and desperation.
She stood, her body glowing faintly as she summoned the Scorpion Spirit. The ground beneath Das began to crack and rumble. A dark, ominous energy coiled below, ready to strike him from beneath.
But before the Scorpion Spirit could fully emerge, the Phoenix Spirit flared into action. Its radiant flames consumed the battlefield, its golden wings spreading wide. With an unyielding command, the Phoenix seized control of the Scorpion Spirit's mind. The once-fearsome entity fell silent and retreated back into the ground like a lifeless doll.
Maya's knees buckled, and she fell to the ground, tears streaming down her face.
"No... no... it wasn't supposed to end like this!" she wailed. Her once-commanding presence crumbled into raw, vulnerable anguish. She crawled toward Thea, her hands trembling.
"Thea! Please, forgive me!" Maya begged. "It was all my fault. Everything—the sorcery, the black magic, the sacrifices of your sisters... I was blinded by power and ambition. I thought I was protecting our family, but I destroyed it instead.
Please, forgive me. I'll take you back. You and Eden will have full control over the Taurus family. Just spare us. Spare our family!"
Silence followed and all Taurus family members waited in anticipation.
But in the next moment, Thea's laughter rang out, cold and bitter.
"Spare you?" she said, her voice trembling with suppressed rage. "Do you think your crocodile tears can undo the pain you've caused? Do you think I can forgive you for turning me into an orphan and cursing my life with blindness? You've destroyed everything, Mother. Everything."
Maya sobbed, grasping Thea's hands. "I'll do anything. Anything! Just let us live."
Thea's eyes narrowed. "If you're true to your words, then prove it. Pass the Weapon Spirit to Das. He is my fiance. Together, we will take care of the Taurus family. That is the only way you can atone."
Maya's head snapped toward Ryon, who stood motionless, his face a mask of defiance.
"Ryon! Please, do it! Here, the anklet is still in my hands. Pass it to Das." she screamed while showing the anklet in her hands.
Ryon's laughter was low and cruel. "Do it? Sacrifice my life to pass the spirit? Do you think me a fool? I would rather die a thousand deaths than hand over the Scorpion Spirit to an outsider."
Maya turned back to Thea, her tears falling freely. "Please, Thea. Give us another chance."
Thea's expression hardened. Her gaze burned with an intensity that silenced the battlefield. Without warning, she reached out and ripped the anklet containing the Scorpion Spirit from Maya's hand.
Her movements were swift, decisive. Before anyone could stop her, she unlocked the anklet and pushed the dagger part into her own chest.
The crowd gasped in horror as Thea staggered toward Das, taking out the anklet from her chest. She placed the anklet in his trembling hands and held them tightly, her blood staining his fingers.
"I, Thea Taurus, daughter of Ryon Taurus, pass the command of the mighty Scorpion Spirit to you, Mohan Das. Please, fulfill my last wish. Kill every single one of the Taurus family. Do not let a single person live. Goodbye, my love," she whispered, her voice fading with every word.
A single tear escaped Das's eye and fell onto Thea's cheek. He gripped her shoulders, shaking her gently as her life ebbed away. His hands were trembling and he couldn't believe the sight before him.
"Why did you do this?" Das's voice cracked, his tears falling freely. "Do you think this Spirit is more important to me than you? Why would you do something so stupid? How am I supposed to live peacefully after this?"
Thea smiled faintly, her trembling hand brushing his cheek. "Don't worry, Das. Our fates are connected for the next seven lives. I will always be reborn for you. In our next life, I will be a good, beautiful, obedient wife for you… not a blind girl like in this life. Please… accept my love in the next life, dear."
Her hand slipped from his cheek, and her body went limp in his arms. The light in her eyes faded, leaving only an empty stillness.
Das froze, his entire body trembling as he stared at her lifeless form. His chest heaved, and a guttural roar of anguish tore from his throat, reverberating across the battlefield. The sound was so raw, so filled with pain, that even the most hardened warriors felt their hearts wrench.
The Taurus family members, including Ryon, began to back away in fear. The air around Das grew heavy, crackling with energy as his rage boiled over. His eyes burned crimson, and tears streamed down his face, mingling with the blood on his hands.
"Run!" one soldier shouted.
The Taurus family scattered like frightened ants, their fear palpable as they fled into the desolate landscape. Even Ryon, the proud patriarch, stumbled backward, his composure shattered.
Das stood, his fists clenched so tightly that blood dripped from his palms where his nails had pierced the skin.
He took a step forward, and the ground beneath him cracked and splintered. The Phoenix Spirit roared above him, its flames dancing wildly, reflecting his uncontrollable grief and fury.
"Why?" Das whispered hoarsely, his voice breaking. He lifted Thea's body, cradling her gently. "Why did you leave me like this? How can I live with this regret?"
The battlefield was silent except for his cries. Even the spirits seemed subdued, their immense powers dimmed in the face of Das's pain.
Thea's final words echoed in his mind. "Our fates are connected for the next seven lives." He clung to that promise, the only solace in a sea of anguish.
But for now, his grief consumed him, and his tears fell like rain, soaking the blood-stained earth beneath his feet.
The scorpion-spirit already stood ready under his control.
