Building An Empire Starting From The Labor Camp In Exile-Chapter 327: New help
"I held the position of the Head Enchanter!"
Atrox spread his hand forward. "Heed my words!"
Immediately, all the demons in attendance fell to their knees.
"From now, Tong is the Head Enchanter!"
Things went even faster after that. After appointing him as Head Enchanter, the man bowed and swore his eternal loyalty to him as if he was already loyal before.
Then he went to the vault and claimed the instrument of his rank. He then joined Atrox where he stood in front of his court once more and bid them farewell.
"My Lord, I won’t be able to serve you well in the human realm, as my powers would be greatly reduced. I won’t be able to fight for you but will lay my life down for you and your cause," Tong declared.
They were on the flying beast made by the White Demon, who said he needed to move entirely away to a certain location to connect a portal to his own.
Atrox grimaced and said firmly, "I don’t need you to die for me. You will return once I’m done. And now I can summon you anytime I need your help. But the most important question is, will your lowered power in the human realm be a problem?"
Tong shook his head. "It won’t be a problem, my Lord. My eyes will see through all the problems and solve them quickly. I might be weaker, but it’s all relative to my rank."
Atrox smiled as if he’d seen a platter of treasure and was about to dig in.
Tong shuddered when he saw the expression on his Lord’s face, and he couldn’t help but rethink his vow of eternal loyalty.
The White Demon carried them in silence. When he got to the location in his mind, he opened a portal to his study. It was there that he opened another portal for them, straight into the human realm.
The White Demon stood at the portal’s edge and watched them leave. He smiled. "Lord of the Eternal Pyre, I can guess that the next time you reach out to me will be a very difficult time for you. When it comes, I will collect payment for services rendered."
And then he was gone, vanishing with the portal as if he was never there.
Atrox turned to Tong. The demon’s appearance had changed. He now looked like a human who wore a very big straw hat, but when he raised his hat a little, Atrox saw that his head was still that of a demon.
"My Lord, how do you know him? The White Demon?"
"He said he was a friend of the former lord."
"That he was. But my Lord, their relationship wasn’t smooth. They fought and... I don’t know much, but the former lord never turned his back to him."
Atrox raised his brows. "For fear of getting stabbed in the back?"
"Yes, my Lord. The White Demon is very powerful and one of the rulers of the demon realm now that there is no king."
Atrox didn’t ignore Tong’s words. He took them to heart because he knew how brutal the world is and that no one is out there helping anyone for free. The White Demon must want something from him, but he was likely playing the waiting game.
"Thank you for the warning," Atrox looked around. "It seems like the time between the two realms is normal. It is still night. Let’s return to camp."
Fortunately, nothing went wrong in their absence, and they entered their tent as if they had never left.
"Even the Akatsuki won’t recklessly attack now that we have regrouped. Their surprise attack won’t work anymore," Eryndor said.
Atrox grunted. "They don’t need the surprise attack. They have the raw strength to blunt fight us. We don’t have time. Tong, we need to get you over the walls to the Akatsuki Desert, but I’m afraid they’re just going to shoot down everything that crosses the air."
Tong didn’t seem troubled by it. "Then what do you plan to do? I can cross over undetected. I can then find out where the location is and then... how will I get the information back to you?"
Suddenly, Atrox grinned, and he looked at Tiber. "We will need a pen and a paper. Tong, can you trace a message communication? Don’t worry when you meet this person. Just obey as you would obey me."

"We are going to die in this place without accomplishing anything," Slya grumbled to no one in particular.
They were on their ship, invisible as they flew above the desert. They had been flying like that for days, and they had found no traces of the capital.
Of course, Slya expected it to be difficult. They were searching because they didn’t know the place, but what made it frustrating was that all the enchanted tools they brought didn’t work, and all the plans that were created for finding the capital were all futile.
Astra snorted. "Captain, I doubt we’re going to die. It’s apparent now that they can’t find us. We would be in more fights if they could. Maybe the only thing that could kill us is boredom. We even have enough food and water."
Just then, a blue streak appeared far above their ship. The blue streak seemed confused before it turned and plummeted straight down like a sinking stone.
"Shield! Shield up!"
A blue shield encircled them, but the blue streak of light didn’t seem to care about any of that, because it pierced straight through and then appeared directly in front of Slya.
Before she could react, the blue orb of soft light turned into a letter.
"Oh... it’s the one-way communication," Slya breathed a sigh and then reached out to it and opened the letter. It was from Atrox, the Clan Leader.
And it was short.
"Captain Slya. I have sent help from the demon realm. The objective remains the same: destroy the throne and hold the city in my name. Cooperation with the demon Tong is of utmost importance."
Slya’s eyes widened. "What the..."
