Captive By Desire, A Love We Can't Deny-Chapter 100: Show Me!
"Why are you here in my room?" Alpha Maxwell asked, watching her face closely.
"I’m here to visit you." Deborah stood up. "How are you my dear husband? Did you enjoy my revenge? Have you suffered enough?" she asked, smirking.
A line appeared between his brows. "Revenge? What are you talking about? Did you intentionally disappear just to make me suffer mentally and emotionally?"
Deborah shook her head. "Actually no, I’m just joking. The truth is...my new naughty lover did it. He kidnapped me and brought me to his place. He didn’t hurt me though, he treated me like I was his queen. That guy fell in love with me at first sight. I also liked him. There was an instant attraction between me and him," she explained.
"I see...so it’s safe to say now that what happened to me and Naomi also happened to you and that guy?" he asked.
Deborah shrugged. "Yeah, more like it."
He folded his arms. "So why are you here in my room?"
"I was about to see our son because I missed him, but I thought I would just drop by your room first to see you and say hello," Deborah replied casually.
"How did you enter my room? I remember that I locked it," he asked, frowning deeply.
Deborah grinned. "I didn’t enter your room through the door. I came here using teleportation. Cool right?" she said smugly, feeling powerful.
"Oh, really? Just like how you and your new lover disappeared inside the car and never came out again? He brought you to his place via teleportation?" he asked.
She nodded her head. "Yeah. So you have seen CCTV footage of my car I left in the parking lot of the bar?"
"Yes, so this guy is the one who teleports you here in my room?" He took a guess.
She shakes her head. "Nope. I teleported myself here. He gave me the power of teleportation because I promised him that I would return to his side and become his queen for life. Together we will build our empire," she said her eyes gleaming mysteriously.
"Really? So are you going back to him for good?" he asked.
"Of course. He and I are so much alike in so many ways. Actually he is so much better than you. I like him more than I like you. In his arms I found my happiness. He truly loves me," she responded, her tone serious.
He snorted in shock and astonishment. "Really? Falling in love too fast, eh? He is a complete stranger whom you only meet in a bar. Are you sure he is a good person? That he can be trusted with your life? But anyway, I’m happy for you. I’m glad you finally found your true love. Congratulations!"
"Why? Are you jealous of my new lover?" she asked, smirking, her gaze digging into his soul.
He shakes his head. "Nah, in your dreams. I’m just concerned about your safety and well-being because you are still baby Zed’s mother."
Deborah laughed. She found his concern for her well-being funny to hear. "Fine, whatever you say."
"One last question before you go, what is the identity of this guy? Is he one of our kind or a vampire? What is his race?" he asked curiously.
"He is a vampire, and he has already transformed me into a vampire. He bit my neck and I survived his bite. I’m now a vampire and a she-wolf at the same time. Cool isn’t it? Can I call myself a hybrid now?" she smiled in amusement, laughing at her own joke.
Stunned by her revelation, Alpha Maxwell could only stare at his wife in utter amazement. She indeed looks pale today, looking more like a vampire. Her complexion was the same in the video. Was she bluffing or was she just pranking him? There is only one way to find out.
"I find it hard to believe that you are now a vampire. You don’t look like one to me," he said, provoking her intentionally to expose her lies, because he believed Deborah was just making things up to make fun of him.
Deborah’s eyes gleamed dangerously. "I see you are doubting my claim, dear husband. Alright, I’ll show you the evidence. Close your eyes if you want to see my mighty fangs," she ordered, laughing hard.
"No way. I won’t close my eyes, just show me!" He said, egging her on.
Deborah stopped laughing, her face turned serious. "Fine. I’ll show you my fangs, but don’t be a sissy okay? Don’t scream," she said, smirking.
Alpha Maxwell rolled his eyes. "Just do it. Don’t waste my time. I will only believe your claim if I see your fangs," he said, not believing her outrageous claim at all.
Suddenly Deborah’s eyes flashed and she grinned broadly showing her teeth, and there he saw it, two sharp fangs suddenly appeared in her mouth. "Whoa, so it’s real fangs? Not fake?" He gushed in disbelief.
Deborah smiled. "Of course they are real. Do you think my fangs are fake, dear husband? Do you want me to bite your neck and transform you into a vampire? I can make you my slave and you will obey all my orders after I transform you. Do you want to be one of us?" she asked, licking her lips hungrily, advancing towards him.
"No way! Stay away from me. If you are going to bite me, I have no choice but to fight you to death. I don’t want to hurt you!" Alpha Maxwell said, warning her menacingly.
Amused by his reaction, Deborah erupted in laughter, enjoying his discomfort. "Look at you! The look on your face is so funny."
"You are getting crazier. Your new lover is not a good influence on you!" He hissed, watching her closely.
Deborah giggled. "You are right, dear husband. I’m getting crazier. My lover and I have the same personalities. We are both crazy people. We are a perfect match. He even told me that he and I would populate this world with millions of vampires and we would be their king and queen. His plans are amazing. Right?"
Alpha Maxwell took a deep breath, shaking his head in absolute disgust at Deborah’s transformation. She’s now become super unhinged. How can he convince her to leave that guy who is a bad influence on her? But it’s too late already. She’s already a vampire, one of his minions.
"Deb, listen to me. Stay away from that guy! He is not a good influence on you," he said, warning her of the dark and dangerous future waiting for her if she stays with her vampire lover.
"Shut up!" she said, shaking her head in defiance. "I’m done talking to you, stupid husband of mine. I have to leave now. Prepare our divorce papers and send them to my parents’ house. I will sign it right away. Take care of our son for me. I will visit him some other day. Goodbye!"
"Wait, where are you going?" he asked.
"Going to teleport back to my lover’s place. Bye bye!" Deborah playfully gave her husband a flying kiss and disappeared from the room in the blink of an eye.
And just like that, she’s gone.
Alpha Maxwell was rooted on the spot, still reeling from the shock brought on by Deborah’s crazy stunt.
That night, Alpha Maxwell was trying to fall asleep on his bed, trying hard to erase the image of Deborah’s fangs from his mind.
Deborah was surely making a big mistake by falling for a vampire guy. But who cares? He should stop caring about his unhinged wife because she doesn’t even care about her own safety.
Sigh. It’s time to stop caring about Deborah. She knows herself better and knows what’s best for her.
One hour later, he had finally drifted into a deep slumber, sleeping peacefully in his bed.
