Chapter 185: Chapter 185: Fire Anaconda

"Holy... There are so many Psychic Skills inside." Selina examined the files Mater just downloaded. There must be a hundred or more Skills inside, each with detailed documents on how to gain it, train it, and even instruction videos.

"It would take forever for me to learn it." Selina mumbled.

"You don’t need to learn them all. Just what is necessary. You’ll need combat training as well. We should begin that after dealing with this bounty. Crow can be your instructor." The black cat meowed.

"It’ll be my pleasure to help the lady," Crow bowed deeply.

"What should we do with him?" Selina turned to Assassin. "Should we just kill him?"

The black cat approached Assassin. The man had already fainted because of the sheer terror he experienced.

"We could kill him for sure... But I feel like it would be a waste." Mater stroked his whiskers.

The black cat would rather enslave Assassin. He was useful and his Dampening Static Field was an excellent espionage tool. But Mater couldn’t enslave another being right now. He already had the maximum number of servants.

If he wanted to have more servants, he needed to reach rank 2.

"I’m going to neutralize his power first. We can think of what to do with him after this."

The black cat raised his paws and swirled his front legs like he was doing some type of martial arts.

He looked extremely ridiculous. It was similar to a cat trying to do kung-fu even though he knew nothing about it.

One single claw extended from the front leg of Mater as he struck Assassin’s forehead.

The claw stopped right when it touched Assassin’s skin. Chaos flooded out gently like a drop of water and created a blockage in front of Assassin’s Psycho Force.

"What was that?!" Selina couldn’t help but chuckle. She tried to hide it though.

"Neural Stasis Art. Some monk taught me this a while ago. It could turn a Chaos User into a normal person for a while." The black cat smirked.

"Woah! I didn’t know you were a monk!" Selina smiled even more. She imagined the black cat with a bald head. It was hilarious.

"I was never a monk!" The black cat rolled his eyes.

Crow flung Assassin on Bash’s back. The group then went looking for the last high level wraith in the maze. It was the fire snake. Or more precisely, a fire anaconda.

"That thing is so huge..." Selina whispered.

The fire anaconda was at least 15-meter long and its body was as wide as two adults combined.

"Can you deal with this, Crow?" The black cat meowed.

"Leave it to me, Master."

The Lightning Nether Blade appeared again. Crow was quick and he hit hard. But he’s extremely fragile.

With the Abyssal Helmet, his only weakness was gone.

Crow turned into a lightning bolt and appeared right in front of the anaconda’s head. He struck the purple sword into its head.

The anaconda screamed in pain. It breathed out waves of lava at Crow.

Crow disappeared, leaving a trail of lightning. He went all over the anaconda’s body and constantly slashing at it.

"This thing is as strong as the gorilla..."

Crow temporarily extended the distance. All of his strikes left small wounds on the anaconda’s long body but none were able to penetrate. Crow needed to do something else.

In this form, he could summon the Lightning Nether Sword and another weapon. The Lightning Nether Sword counted as one of the weapons for his Nether Fighter ability. So Crow could only summon one more.

"I have just the thing for you... Create a weapon as I imagine..." The voice of the helmet echoed in Crow’s head.

"Show me, brother." Crow nodded.

In his mind, another sword appeared. Its body was broad and it had a hollowed blade.

The sword materialized in Crow’s left hand.

"Join them..." The Helmet’s voice echoed.

Crow placed the swords together. The two joined into one gigantic sword with the blade as broad as a small door.

"Woah!" Selina and Aurora clapped their hands in admiration.

Crow disappeared and reappeared in front of the anaconda again. He didn’t teleport, he just moved too fast for the eyes to comprehend.

Crow slammed the Broad Nether Sword onto the anaconda’s head. It sunk the head into the ground and caused its volcanic skin to crack.

"It works!"

The anaconda growled. It shot at Crow and wrapped around him, trying to strangle the Abomination.

Crow used his lightning speed to get out and struck the head of the anaconda again, causing it to fall to the ground.

"It’s time to end this. Spidey!"

A large spider shadow appeared on the ground. Then it emerged. A deep black dark smoke spider.

It shot out several purple Nether Webs and held the anaconda’s head on the ground.

"Time for a final combo."

With two hands holding the Broad Sword, Crow slammed it repeatedly onto the anaconda’s head. The anaconda shrieked relentlessly. Its body squirmed but it couldn’t escape.

When the Nether Webs were starting to break, black chains shot out from the shadow and held it in place.

"End it, Crow!" Mater stroked his whiskers. He just used Chains of Shadow.

Crow continued spamming the move. The head of the anaconda sank even lower into the ground. A large hole was created.

Soon, its head turned into a thousand pieces as it died.

"Come to papa!" The black cat took its Chaos. This one was even higher in level than the previous ones. It’s a level 9 wraith.

The black cat burped while rubbing its belly.

Tiny balls of flame scattered around where the body of the anaconda once was. Selina collected them all into the Flame Staff.

The staff turned fully gold. The flame sphere inside the tip spun aggressively. It’s close to another transformation, but not yet.

"We’re done here. Let’s go to the Core."

The core of the pocket dimension. It was what held this entire space together. Mater could feel a strong presence near the core.

It was definitely a level 10 wraith.

"My Bio-Lock is closer than ever." Mater rubbed his paws greedily. He licked his mouth.

Bash charged through the walls, creating a straight path into the core. Assassin was being tied on his back, pebbles and rocks hit the poor unconscious Psychic over and over.

They arrived at the core.
