Mira hated to admit it, but he was right. Even as powerful as she was, the body he was using was only a secondary vessel—a mere extension of his true self. It was an inferior imitation to her Shadow Body, yes, but still capable of self-erasure before she could fully trap his soul despite her powers and speed. He would be gone before she could even tighten her grip.

But if she was going to return to her Young Lord empty-handed, she needed something to make up for this failure. Information. Knowledge. Anything to appease his inevitable wrath.

Her golden eyes narrowed, and she let out a scoff, folding her arms across her chest.

"Such arrogance. A god can't stop you? If even I can corner you, what could a god—much less an ancient god—do?"

The man smirked at her condescension but didn't rise to the bait. Instead, he tilted his head, as if considering whether she was even worth his breath. Finally, he let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head.

"Yeah," he sneered, "I'm not surprised that someone from this backward little realm would think gods are the peak of existence."

Mira's brows furrowed, but before she could stop herself, her hand flew to her mouth in a show of exaggerated shock. "W-what are you saying? Gods... aren't the strongest?"

The man stilled. Then—grinned.

Oh, she was strong, yes. But stupid? So stupid. How could she drop her guard so easily, just from a few words?

He exhaled sharply, rolling his shoulders before rising to his feet, dusting himself off with deliberate slowness. A languid stretch, as if preparing for something grand. He lifted his chin, smirk widening into something theatrical.

"It was a nice fight," he admitted, brushing off his cloak. "So, in honor of that, I'll humor you. Before I go, I'll grant you a little wisdom."

He spread his arms, as if about to deliver a grand speech.

The man chuckled, shaking his head as if pitying her ignorance. "Yeah, gods are not the peak of existence. But unfortunately, the people of the Godly Realms don't know that. Hell, y'all don't even know that there are realms bigger than the Godly Realms itself." He smirked, tilting his head. "And you, my friend, are lucky to have encountered me. Me—someone from beyond the Godly Realms."

Mira's eyes widened, a flicker of something rare appearing on her face—genuine shock. "H-how's that even possible?" she whispered, barely able to contain her disbelief.

The man crossed his arms, pleased by her reaction. "Of course you wouldn't know. Interrealm travel is nearly impossible, thanks to the truce between the leaders of these realms. In your case, that would be the Eternal themselves, just like in other realms."

Mira's surprise didn't fade, but her mind was already spinning, absorbing every word, dissecting the implications. "But why?" she pressed, her voice still laced with disbelief. "Why would you travel this far and risk breaking the rules just to kill a teacher?"

A slow, knowing grin crept onto the man's face, his amusement barely contained. "A teacher?" He let out a scoff, his tone thick with mockery. "You're more naïve than I thought. That woman is—was—far more than just a teacher." His smirk widened. "She was going to be a wild card in the coming Interrealm Wars."

Mira's heart clenched at those words. Interrealm Wars?

He continued, unaware of his slip. "She was the Child of the Moon itself. A daughter of an Endless. The Moon Elf destined to—"

His voice abruptly cut off. The amusement in his eyes flickered—realization.

Mira smirked. Got you.

The man clenched his jaw. "How crafty…" His voice dropped, bitterness creeping in. "As expected…"

She watched him with a victorious glint in her eyes. He had been reckless, and she had drawn out exactly what she needed.

He exhaled, regaining his composure, but she could see the frustration in the way his fingers twitched, the way his stance stiffened.

She tilted her head mockingly. "Too bad," she mused, her voice dripping with amusement. "Even your big mouth knows when to stop." Her golden eyes flashed coldly. "Now you can die."

She snapped her fingers.

A soundless explosion rippled through the air.

The man's form twisted in an instant, his body collapsing into a mangled, bloody gore. The space where he stood was now nothing more than a grotesque splatter of golden ichor and torn flesh. But his soul was already gone.

Mira's expression didn't change. She had already known that capturing him was impossible. His second body was nothing more than a vessel—he would erase himself before she could trap his soul. But killing him?

That was still an option but she had held back—not before extracting the information she needed. And in the end, she had succeeded.

And she had gotten what she needed.

She exhaled, running a hand through her dark hair. "Interrealm Wars, huh? And… Endlesses?" She narrowed her eyes. "Never heard of that.".Even as a phantom, Mira didn't know of the Endlesses. But the existence of realms beyond the Godly Realms... that part wasn't entirely foreign to her. Nysa was proof enough.

The Godly Realms had always been considered a singular dominion, divided into three vast territories—the Mortal Realm, the Immortal Realm, and the God Realm. And Nysa came from an outside realm. Now, cracks were beginning to show in that belief.

Now, the veil had been lifted, and she had seen a glimpse of something beyond someone who already knew but she knew it won't be long before this was revealed

And she would make sure her Young Lord knew.

"No wonder there were no traces of divinity in him despite having the golden blood when he's not even a god."

Still, to think that someone from beyond the Godly Realms was this strong—and even had similarities with the gods of the Godly Realms—that spoke volumes about just how powerful the other realms must be.

"And he even knew of the Eternal being? Not even the gods know the Eternal. Only a few of the highest gods are aware of its existence, and most dismiss the Eternal as just another Ancient God! And by his words, it seems like there are other Eternals out there!"

Mira exhaled sharply, crossing her arms as she stared into the distance. As if things weren't already messy enough.

Her young lord was still entangled in the chaos of this realm, barely keeping the shifting tides under control. The Godly Realms were another beast entirely—filled with ancient grudges, warring factions, and empire politics that could swallow even the strongest whole. And now, the cosmos itself was breaking apart?

"Interrealm wars…" she muttered, the words tasting bitter on her tongue.

It wasn't just a threat—it was a catastrophe waiting to happen. If beings from beyond the Godly Realms were this powerful, then what even was the true hierarchy of existence? Just how deep did the abyss go?

"Young lord, I hope you're ready for this… because fate sure as hell isn't giving you a break."

She sighed again, rubbing her temples "The cosmos really has it out for him, huh?" She glanced at the sky, as if expecting it to crack open right then and there. Honestly, at this rate, it wouldn't even surprise her.
