Within an opulent office, light streamed through a floor-to-ceiling window, bathing the room in an ethereal glow.

A crimson-gold rug covered the polished floor, while elegant couches rested along the walls, clearly meant for guests.

At the edge of the office, right before the massive window, Raven Blackthorn sat, neck deep into her work, when,

Ring!!

Her device rang...

She ignored it..

The ringing continued, until eventually,

"What is it?" Her cold voice resonated through the office room, cold, authoritative, none of the warmth she’d shown Dante the day before..

"You’ve been ignoring my calls" a deep aged voice came through the other side..

"If that’s all you’ve gott to say, I’ll be hanging up now" she was already focusing back on her work when,

"What did the boy awaken" the aged voice asked, voice plain..

"Heh, so now you care what he awakens" she sneered, disdain coloring her voice.

"Like it or not, that boy Carries the family’s blood, so yes, I care" the aged voice replied, no warmth, just logic.

"Heh, well sucks to be you, he awakened a measly E-rank talent" she sneered, "no bloodline, no anything, now get lost!" Her voice turned cold..

"Sighhh~ as expected, no good could ever come from such a brash decision" the aged voice sighed..

Crasssshhhh!!!

"Don’t you dare!!" Raven roared through gritted teeth..

"Don’t you dare besmirch him, not after you left him to his death" she unconsciously released her aura, the atmosphere cracking and peeling apart..

"When should I expect your return to the family, your years of throwing a tantrum should be over" the aged voice ignored her and continued plainly.

"Never, that’s when, so if you’re done, get lost, and make sure you take your pathetic dogs with you, for if I ever see them around any of my kids..." she let the threat hang..

"You dare threaten me, Ravena?" The aged voice asked, tone still plain..

"I make you a promise, Father, dare you ignore it, and my return home will not be one you wish to see" she cut the line immediately after saying her piece..

Hooooooo~~~~

"Don’t worry they’ll never take you from me"..

Breathing out deeply, she put her hand into her cleavage, pulling out a picture..

"My Dante ...hehehehehe"..

On it was an image of Dante, his upper body bare, his chiseled muscles looking more carved than flesh and blood, his gleaming eyes radiating intense focus as he stood in a martial arts pose..

Mppphhhhhh~~~Haaaaaaaa

She took a deep breath of the picture, her eyes glazing over, as her hand went to her lips, remembering the fleeting kiss she’d given him the day before..

"Hehehe....I kissed him..Hehehehe...I kissed MY Dante..." her eyes shone with an eerie light..

"Dante~~~, Dante ~~~~~~"

Her breathing turned heavy, her left hand bringing the picture closer as her right went towards her heat, fingers sliding into her panties, arriving at her already wet cave,

"Annnnnnnn~~~~MY DANTE~~~~"

I just stared, speechless at the ridiculousness shown in front of me..

And that’s not even the worse bit, because according to this description, this talent can actually grow?.

And it could grow to the point where I can effectively come back from the dead?

Now, for the main finale, the one thing I’d been putting off since I saw it, hell, since I heard the name of the system..
