Cheat Awakening-Chapter 762. One Side Beating
The fight between Pillow and Myne's two wives can only be described as one-sided bullying. After all, it's unrealistic to think that two 25-year-old girls could defeat an old antique with nearly 600 years of experience.
Unless someone provides Aisha and Sylphy with silent support and helps them win, even if Pillow spent her entire life eating, sleeping, and having fun, there is no way her control over her magic and skills could be something two little girls could compare to.
So, without even taking the fight too seriously, Pillow stood in the pink fog, fully clad in full-body armor made of magic vines, holding a magic sword. She watched Aisha and Sylphy scratching all over their bodies since the itching effect of the pink fog was too powerful. But thanks to their strong willpower and the effect of their ultra-regeneration skill, they were still able to hold on. Otherwise, anyone else in their place would have long ago been lying on the ground.
"Little brats of Hume, I do not have any grudge against either of you... It is just your bad luck that you were born as a Hume. So, let me kill you without having you suffer. It's the least I can do. If it's from my hands, you should be able to die safely, but if you fall into my master's hands, believe me, you will beg for death, but you will never receive that luxury," Pillow spoke coldly, with only her eyes visible through her helmet, as she slowly walked toward Sylphy, who was nearest to her.
It was supposed to be Sylphy and Pillow confronting each other in the center of the hall, two swordswomen playing with swords and sparks flying everywhere, but one party had already lost before the battle even began.
Sylphy felt like digging a hole and burying herself in it. She had never expected that Pillow, instead of fighting like a real swordsman, would use such a shameless method as using poison. She had no marital ethics at all.
"You shameless b*tch, you coward! If you have guts, then stop using those dirty tricks, and fight honestly!" Sylphy, whose face was already turning blue from anger, instantly exploded after hearing Pillow's words, and threw three football-sized fireballs at her.
"You are already getting bullied; I don't think provoking her further is a good idea, dear," Myne's hesitant voice sounded in Sylphy's mind, which she ignored with a cold snort. Obviously, she didn't take his advice, thinking that if it wasn't for the poisonous fog, she, along with Aisha, could easily teach the elf b*tch a good lesson.
However, Sylphy soon regretted her decision. Because her powerful fireballs, which could easily hollow out a thick tree, only created a loud bang and thick fog after colliding with Pillow's armor. But after the fog subsided, everyone's eyes widened, as there wasn't a single scratch on Pillow's armor. Obviously, this ordinary-looking vine armor was far from being ordinary.
While nodding with satisfaction upon seeing everyone's shocked expression, Pillow also moved toward Sylphy, ready to teach this ungrateful and insolent brat how to respect the elderly. Although, according to the elf lifespan standard, she was only about 40+ years old and couldn't be considered too old, a little girl who was no different than a toddler dared to speak disrespectfully to her and even curse her. How could she accept it? It was only natural for her to send her to her ancestors to vent the anger in her heart.
Bang!
Thud!
"In your next life, remember to be more respectful to someone who is older than you."
With a casual swing of her sword, she easily parried Sylphy's not-so-powerful sword attack, sending her sword flying away, and placed her own sword on Sylphy's neck. Staring at her coldly, Pillow wanted to see fear on her face, but to her surprise, Sylphy was still cursing her for being shameless under her breath, showing no sign of being desperate or fearful, which she should have, considering she was about to lose her life.
Just then, suddenly, two giant tornadoes appeared to the left and right of Sylphy and Pillow, absorbing all the pink fog before moving toward Xanadu. After reaching his side, they disappeared, letting all the pink fog cover his side.
Xanadu was a high-level demon, and the low-level poison had no effect on him at all. Since he wasn't a narrow-minded guy like most demons who easily lose their temper, he simply snorted coldly, thinking to write down this matter and punish them for it later.
In his mind, Myne and his gang had already become his experiment subjects. It was just a matter of time. If it wasn't for the fact that he was feeling too bored, having nothing interesting to do, he wouldn't have wasted his time on Myne and others at all; he would have simply captured them right after meeting them.
Pillow also looked behind Sylphy and saw Aisha putting down her arms, taking out her bow, and shooting an arrow at her. Obviously, she was the troublemaker who released those wind tornadoes.
In the end, I still have to help you two. Without me, what would you do? Sigh… Myne's voice, full of sarcasm, sounded in Aisha's head, making her want to beat him, but sadly, he was right. She had no way to refuse him. Without his help this time, she and Sylphy had no way to deal with Pillow's shameless magic attack.
Without the poisonous fog, Sylphy also recovered her fighting ability and quickly shot a dozen fireballs at Pillow while she was dealing with Aisha's arrows, distracting her. Sylphy quickly rushed toward her sword, picked it up, and charged at Pillow, ready to hack her to death.
"Did you say your name was Pillow? Why do you hate the Humes so much? Hypothetically speaking, if the Elves had a way to regain their livelihoods, what would you do?" Sylphy asked while slashing her sword at Pillow, who easily parried every attack. Obviously, she was a better swordsman than her.
"I never said my name, and why I hate Humes has nothing to do with you," While slashing horizontally and leaving a wound on Sylphy's arm, Pillow spoke coldly as she dodged five arrows Aisha shot at her, all of them aimed at her eyes.
She then made a fist with her left hand and slammed it hard on the ground. The next second, hundreds of vines shot out of the ground under Aisha's feet, who had been harassing her with arrows, forcing her to escape from those crazy vines that were chasing her like a tide.
"Now there are only two of us. Since you so desperately wanted to fight with a sword, let's see what you can do…"
…
"Myne, shouldn't you help them? It seems like they are getting bullied?" Waffle asked worriedly, watching Aisha desperately fighting with the crazy vines, but obviously, she was no match for those magic vines, and it was only a matter of time before she would get caught.
"But they refused to accept my help. Even though I still helped them deal with that poisonous fog, instead of being grateful, they didn't even say thanks to me. Why should I help these kinds of ungrateful people? Let them suffer. Anyway, they are not going to die. This is enough for me. Only when they get beaten will they learn their lesson and know my importance. They are taking me too lightly these days," Myne, while drinking a cold drink, spoke casually, enjoying watching Sylphy and Aisha getting beaten miserably.
To make things more enjoyable, he also had two magic eyes recording the whole process so he could make fun of them later. This kind of good material was too rare to let go.
"Aren't you worried they will vent their anger on you if they find out you're recording their shameful loss? They might not be able to beat this dark-skinned girl, but that doesn't mean they can't beat you. By the way, Aisha is looking at our side… I don't think she is in a good mood," Waffle, thinking about his dinner, continued taking Aisha and Sylphy's side, since if they got angry and refused to make dinner, where was he going to eat tonight?
"What? Did you say something? Sorry, it seems someone cast a skill on me. I can't see or hear anything… This is probably the demon cheating and attacking me. Damn this bastard!" Myne cursed loudly, but he showed no sign of moving and continued watching the show.
Just then, he saw a fountain of blood shooting into the air, and with a thud, Sylphy, with a long, deep sword wound from her right waist to her left shoulder, fell on her knees before dropping her sword with a disbelieving expression.
Pillow obviously didn't have the habit of leaving her enemies alive after beating them. After Sylphy fell to her knees, she raised her sword, ready to behead her beautiful head. But suddenly something happened that left her dumbfounded, and she couldn't help but look at Myne, who had been watching the fun since the start and had shown no intention of helping his teammates at all.
