Chapter 104: Mana Ties, Part Sixteen

"I..." Zura voiced a single word before quieting back down. It looked like she’d been about to excuse herself but failed to will her body to stand up and listen.

Enverna was in a similar spot.

Lianna’s body was entrancing. Enverna was caught between the desire to look away and the desire to lean forward, tongue-first.

With that being the case, the only thing she could think to do was to remain there, perfectly still.

By now, Enverna couldn’t even hear the music.

Lianna was so close and yet so far. In the back of her mind, she could almost hear her parents telling her off, and her sister laughing at her current predicament. But, she couldn’t turn away.

Before long, Lianna backed up on her own. Casually, she took her bra off and now, Enverna truly felt like her face was burning.

"Ahhh, I wish they were a little bit bigger," Lianna giggled. "I guess I’m not all that cut out for a job at a club."

"I’d hire you," Zura muttered and Lianna laughed. Bouncing over to her, Lianna grinned and leaned down, pressing a kiss to Zura’s cheek.

"You’re sweet."

With her arms still wrapped around Zura, Lianna began to say:

"You know... Even though Envy and I got engaged, we haven’t actually done anything."

Enverna’s breath caught in her throat. Zura’s eyes went so wide that Enverna worried they might fall out.

"What?" Confusedly, Zura replied.

"Yeah," Lianna looked back at Enverna the entire time as she said, "we got engaged, we’ve been hanging out all this time, we’ve gotten closer... But we haven’t even kissed."

Falling on top of Zura’s lap with giggles, Lianna continued.

"AHH!" Lianna whined, fully thrown over the other girl, her eyes set on Enverna the whole time. "I’m so pent up. What do you think, Zura? Should I keep waiting?"

By now, everything she’d seen in the last few minutes felt like a fever dream.

The tempest in Enverna’s heart intensified as she felt the weight of the liquor bottle in her hands.

The room seemed to sway slightly. She knew the words she wanted to say, the emotions she wanted to express to Lianna, but the constraints of her upbringing and the impending departure weighed heavily on her mind.

Her upbringing, steeped in tradition and propriety, dictated that certain lines shouldn’t be crossed. The thought of acknowledging her romantic feelings for Lianna clashed with the societal expectations ingrained in her since childhood. The fear of judgment and the potential consequences of defying those norms gnawed at her, even though she was so far from Garriden right now.

And, of course, her impending departure loomed like a dark cloud on the horizon, casting a shadow over any potential intimacy.

Enverna knew that if she and Lianna did anything tonight, her leaving would be even more agonizing.

The prospect of saying goodbye would become an insurmountable challenge, entangling her in a web of emotions that she wasn’t sure she could navigate.

Yet, in the midst of these conflicting emotions, she couldn’t deny one thing.

As Lianna leaned her head and planted a kiss on Zura’s lips, Enverna was jealous. Very jealous. So much so that she wanted to spring up and rip Lianna away.

Only briefly did Lianna cut the eye contact she’d been maintaining with Enverna, closing her eyes and sinking deeper into the act. Then, she reopened them and looked back at her fiance with that same challenge in her pupils.

For Enverna, the desire to bridge the gap between them warred with the fear of the consequences. Enverna felt like a prisoner of her own conflicting emotions, torn between the longing for connection and the fear of the unknown.

As the room spun with indecision, Enverna grappled with the weight of her feelings. And, before she knew it, Enverna was standing, walking over.

"Oh, wow," Lianna said, turning where she sat and looking up at her. "Want something?" 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶

Enverna felt a mix of nervousness and anticipation as she extended her hand towards Lianna.

The air around them crackled with uncertainty, yet there was an undeniable magnetic pull drawing them closer. Lianna’s flirtatious and curious expression only fueled Enverna’s spirit, giving her the energy to proceed.

Lianna’s fingers delicately wrapped around Enverna’s hand, and with a playful smile, she stood up.

At that moment, Enverna felt a surge of courage. She wanted to bridge the gap, to erase the distance between them.

As they stood face to face, the atmosphere shifted. The room seemed to hold its breath, waiting for the next move. Enverna, with a hint of hesitation, placed her hands on Lianna’s shoulders. Lianna, sensing the internal struggle, gently cupped Enverna’s face, her touch warm and reassuring.

Their eyes met, and for a brief moment, the world outside ceased to exist.

Enverna’s doubts melted away as she surrendered to the magnetic pull that had been growing stronger with each passing moment. Lianna leaned in, their lips brushing in a tentative kiss.

It was a gentle exploration, a tender exchange that spoke volumes. Enverna felt a rush of emotions, a swirl of passion and vulnerability.

Lianna’s lips were soft. Painfully soft. The world slowly dissolved around them.

The kiss deepened organically. Time seemed to slow, and the room faded into the background.

Enverna was fully immersed in the warmth of the moment when Lianna as if sensing a need for a pause, broke the kiss.

Their eyes met again, and Lianna grinned. She looked excited, a million possibilities passing through her eyes and Enverna had fully given in to them. She was willing to explore them all.

"Sorry, Zura," Lianna said, turning toward her with a wink. "I’ll make it up to you."

[What?] Enverna thought but didn’t have time to process that before Lianna dragged her into the bedroom.

Zura just had a knowing smile on her face as she watched them go.

Enverna was in the room in the blink of an eye.

In the next blink of the eye, a topless, eager Lianna was pinning her to the bed.

[Oh. This is seriously happening. Am-]

Her thoughts were halted when Lianna resumed the kiss, picking up right where they’d left off. Again, it felt like the world itself vanished to let them have this moment.

It was tough, of course. Enverna’s lips stumbled here and there, losing themselves amidst the experienced tug and pull of Lianna’s.

In the back of her mind, Enverna did wonder how many people had also tasted Lianna’s tongue like she was now, but the fact that Lianna was here, on top of her, dedicating all of her attention solely to her was enough to make that part of her mind quiet down.

Lianna pulled away and stuck two fingers in Enverna’s mouth, looking down at her with hunger in her eyes.

"I’ve been waiting for a while, you know," Lianna whispered. "For tonight... Just sit back, okay? I’ll do everything."

Enverna nodded and Lianna went to take her clothes off.

It was incredibly embarrassing but Enverna let it happen, lifting herself off the bed and shifting whenever Lianna needed her to until she was lying there, completely bare.

Lianna was soon in the same state.

Softly, she pushed Enverna’s legs apart.

[God, I am going to die from sheer shame,] Enverna thought as she put her wrist over her face, using it as a shield as Lianna saw everything there was to see.

Doing so inadvertently made Lianna’s following action that much more tangible.

Lianna’s lips found Enverna’s inner thighs and Enverna flinched.

"Haaa," she hissed, her back arching on its own. As she looked down, Lianna’s mischievous eyes promised that she was far from done.

Enverna could guess where this was going, but Lianna was both taking too long and not taking long enough to get there.

Slowly, torturously so, she traced a path leading down to what had been inevitably her final destination.

Enverna looked down, finding Lianna looking up at her just before her tongue stuck out and touched her there.

Enverna nearly cried.

"You’re so wet!" Lianna commented. "Were you looking forward to this too?"

It was too much. Too much to process. Too much to take in. Lianna seemed to be enjoying every second of it.

Her tongue dragged up, pushing itself off Enverna momentarily before reconnecting. At first, she was going far too slowly but, soon, the speed became just right.

Enverna’s enjoyment gradually grew as she allowed herself to relax. The more she did, the more Lianna seemed to speed up. Her breathing sped up. It was all very hard to deal with.

"W-Wait, I think..."

Before Enverna could get the rest of that warning out, she came.

It had barely begun. Lianna’s tongue had only run a few laps around Enverna’s clit. And yet, Enverna’s first orgasm found her like it had been searching far and wide for her.

Enverna’s mind nearly broke.

Lianna noticed the way her back arched and paused momentarily.

Enverna’s whole body pulsed as she stared up at the ceiling.

Soon, Lianna came into view.

"Enjoyed that?" She asked, looking down at her.

All Enverna could do was nod.

"Hehe. I’d like to think my practice has paid off."

[Is that right?]
