When Huo Jun put the braised meat into his mouth, he didn’t expect much.

The braised meat smelled great but it wasn’t anything too spectacular than what he had before.

But when he took a bite onto it, he glanced at Huo Fei Li with wide opened eyes.

Huo Fei Li nodded his head at him, giving him a ’I told you’ look.

Huo Jun munched onto the braised meat he had and he glanced over at Lin Xuan Qi.

The braised meat was tender and juicy.

Covered with the braised sauce, the meat was tastier with its saltiness and other seasonings.

And out from the seasonings, there was something else he had never tasted before.

It made it even much better.

Lin Xuan Qi gave him a smile back and said, "Try the other dishes, I think you will like them too."

Huo Jun swallowed the braised beef he had and he picked up the fried eggs that were next to the braised beef.

Without fail, the fried eggs were as delicious as the braised beef.

The special seasoning helped elevate its taste.

And as someone who was keen on food, Huo Jun was eager to find out what it was.

"What did you add to make them taste so good?

"It’s not saltiness or sweetness but something else... something that makes everything better.

"And now I will need to have it with every meal I take."

Lin Xuan Qi picked up his teacup, had a sip from it and said, "It’s what I call the Lin Clan Taste Transcendent Essence.

"Put a little into the dishes as seasoning and the taste would be better."

He glanced over back at Huo Fei Li and couldn’t help but make a comparison with Huo Fei Li.

"Nothing." Huo Jun shook his head and quickly snapped out of it.

Huo Jun went on and savored the other dishes and they were all excellent.

And after he was done, he reluctantly stood up to bid farewell to Lin Xuan Qi and Huo Fei Li.

He had spent more time in the Lin Mansion than he had planned.

The food was too good for him and he had to do it.

"Thanks for the meal. It’s about time for me to go and get rid of the assailant." He cupped his hands at Lin Xuan Qi and said.

"Hope you will be done and be back safely soon."

"Don’t worry, I will. In the meantime take good care of Huo Fei Li for me." Huo Jun said and patted on the back of Huo Fei Li.

Huo Fei Li quickly nodded his head.

It was what he had planned to do anyway.

And with that, Huo Jun turned around and left with his guards.

Lin Xuan Qi sat and had a sip of his tea, thinking about what he should do with Huo Fei Li and Lu Ting for the time being.

He glanced out of the windows of the dining hall and saw the autumn leaves falling.

Maybe he could get them to spend their time in the garden. Lin Xuan Qi thought and made his decision.

"Since we have nothing much to do, come with me to the garden if you want to."

Huo Fei Li nodded his head and Lu Ting was also fine with it.

He would definitely do it again when he was done with all the work.

"Too bad the weather is turning cold, if not, we can fish by the pond, I’ve put in quite a number of fishes into the pond.

"I’m not too sure if they can survive till now." Lin Xuan Qi shook his head and said with a sigh.

Huo Fei Li got intrigued and pointed at the surface of the pond, "I think they are still alive, look."
