"Guys, come quick! HURRY!"

At this moment, the entire Academy seemed on fire!

The students had just heard something unbelievable. The girl's dormitory was under attack?! More importantly, three newly admitted students had done it!

Countless female students were now standing outside their quarters, stunned expressions on their faces. Many had even evacuated in a hurry, still in their pajamas.

"They just antagonized 50% of the school!"

"That's not all! Their foxes beat up that Stormland's Prince!"

"Holy shit?! Are you kidding me?! Who the hell are those guys?!"

The low-key school life Jack had wished for was nowhere to be found. On day one, they had already become infamous. It didn't take long for their information to circulate.

Aisha —> Princess of the Henderson Family

Lizzy —> Graduate from the Alchemy Tower

Unknown Man —> There was absolutely no info about him! He was a complete mystery! He seemed to be Aisha's guard… but perhaps he was a friend or a relative too?

More importantly, what were they doing here?! Had they come for the sole sake of sewing chaos? A certain youngster was especially sweating the more he heard.

Damien Henderson.

At this moment, he wanted to crawl into a hole.

Why the hell had the Academy even accepted his talentless sister?! This made no sense at all! More importantly, everyone on the goddamn campus tried to ambush him for INFO!

"I really don't know! I haven't seen her in forever!" He could only repeat over and over like a broken record. But it got even worse soon enough.

"What's all the fuss about?!" It didn't take long for the teachers to get wind of this. Why were so many students gathered outside when they could practice magic instead?

Just as a few were gathered, a wrinkled lady came forward, huffing and puffing, her fists shaking as much as her large hat. She was this place's herbalism teacher.

She was a retired Alchemist who taught her students the basics of the discipline, which often consisted of tips to avoid being ripped off by a greedy Alchemy Tower.

Her pride and joy was her Garden, which she tended all year. It was her happy place, one where she'd meditate and remember her glory days.

But her sanctuary had been tarnished!

This smell was horrendous!

As she marched toward the dormitories, many couldn't help but gulp in fear and apprehension. Those new students were 100% DEAD!

But just as she was about to enter, a strange sound resounded from a distance. It sounded metallic and… WHAT?! The Headmaster had just appeared on the horizon!

He wore his usual metallic robe that looked akin to armor and rode a metal destrier. The warhorse seemed so heavy that each of its steps sunk deeply into the earth!

— Clip! Clop! Clip! Clop! —

Holy shit?! Even the Headmaster was here?! This guy was a Legend around here. After all, who else had refused to become a Dawn Lord… and many times at that?!

He loved participating in and witnessing Magical Competitions… hence why he had come to this Academy! He was as easygoing as powerful, his metal Mastery unequaled!

It took him merely an instant to cover the rest of the distance, galloping right in front of the Old Herbalist, who instantly greeted him.

"Headmaster, you're just in time to—"

"I know, Miss Green. Let me handle it; I'll be right back!"

He gave her a reassuring smile, diving deep inside the stink apocalypse, many exclaiming in admiration. He was so damn cool! Yet, merely instants after entering, his face changed.

— CLANG! CRASH! CRUMBLE! —

WHAT?! How?! His metal steed had collapsed as soon as he had entered. How had an olfactive attack done that?! But then he understood…

He had somehow imbued this thing with a semi-conscious spirit to make it look and act like a horse. Sensing the crazy energy concentration, it had imploded from over-stimulation!

"Shit, I knew it…."

He should have expected it. The Flame Lord had referred those people, after all! Just when he had managed to get rid of her daughter, sending her on a mission… now this!

He kept threading, analyzing the spell. Yet, the further he got, the weirder he felt. This thing was obviously still active… but why couldn't he feel its Mana Source?!

It was as if energy had been created out of nowhere! No, that couldn't be either. Yet the more he sensed, the more scared he became…. It came from the barrier?! This was CRAZY!

Then he finally made it to the scene of the crime…

"W-what?!" As he entered Jack's new room, he felt like something was wrong with his eyes. He had heard about the "Hostage Negotiations," but what was this?

They all sat down in a circle, a whiteboard in the middle. On it were the words: "Anti-Stink-Cloud Brainstorm Meeting" with a couple of suggestions:

- Waiting

- Rebuilding the dormitory

- Designing an Air-Freshener spell

- ….

The Headmaster froze.

"H-Headmaster?! What are you doing here?!" A girl exclaimed.

'What am I doing here, your head!' he wanted to reply. Did those people even know the Drama that they had caused?! But for now, he turned to Jack.

"You, was all this… an accident?!" As the youngster nodded, the Headmaster wasn't sure whether to be reassured, impressed, or if he should cry and blame his bad luck.

"Right now, we're trying to find a solution to the problem, but…." Of course, dealing with something like that wasn't easy. If they could have, they wouldn't have been students.

"Sigh, I understand. How long before this thing disappears? Are you able to sense it since you're technically the caster?" The Headmaster surprisingly patiently asked.

"Days… to weeks…" Jack embarrassedly replied.

A few days wasn't so bad; the girls could go camping or something… but weeks?! There was no way that this would do! After all, he couldn't let his students be homeless.

But just as he was getting an incredible headache, Jack chimed in once more…

"Actually, I might be able to deal with the issue sooner, but it would probably negatively affect the barrier around this place and—"

"It's fine, do it!"

That easy?! Jack had expected it to take more consideration, but the Headmaster was incredibly decisive. Without wasting time, he sat down crossed-legged, focusing…

"Kid, what are you doing?!" The Old Ghost asked, perplexed. But then his shock was so great that even his vessel shook. "YOU?! Don't tell me?! You're gonna absorb it?!"

An expectant grin had appeared on Jack's lips...𝐟𝘳𝑒𝗲𝘸e𝒃𝘯𝒐𝐯e𝚕.c𝒐𝒎
