Lin Muyu’s blush deepened until her face was the color of a ripe berry.

She looked at her two friends, her eyes darting back and forth, before she finally whispered, "I don’t know..."

Su Qinglan and Bai Ling both froze. They were completely stunned.

"What do you mean, you don’t know?" Bai Ling asked, her voice rising in disbelief.

"How can you not know who the father is? It’s not like you have a dozen husbands running around your house!"

"Ouch! Bai Ling..." Lin Muyu gave her a look as if saying, You can’t be this ruthless with me.

Su Qinglan nodded in agreement. She knew Lin Muyu was very picky. For a year, she hadn’t let a single man get close to her.

Both girls had the same thought: Did she just pick a random beastman in the dark?

Lin Muyu gave them a strange, awkward smile. "That is exactly why I don’t know. Because... well, look behind you."

Suddenly a very handsome, radiant male stepped into the clearing. It was Wang Mo. He looked glowing and happy, his eyes fixed solely on Lin Muyu with deep affection.

"Oh!" Bai Ling whispered to Su Qinglan. "So it’s Wang Mo? He finally caught her! We already guessed they would end up together."

But before Wang Mo could even reach the group to say hello, a sudden blur of golden fur streaked past him.

A second male, taller and more muscular, reached Lin Muyu first. It was Shi Kuang, the younger brother of the Lion King. He looked bold and proud, standing right next to Lin Muyu as if he owned the spot.

Su Qinglan and Bai Ling were speechless. What the hell is going on? they both thought.

Lin Muyu cleared her throat, looking more embarrassed than ever. She reached out and grabbed Wang Mo’s hand with her left, then grabbed Shi Kuang’s hand with her right.

"Everyone... meet my husbands," she said with a nervous laugh. She pulled Wang Mo forward first.

"This is my first husband, Wang Mo." Then she tilted her head toward the lion beastman. "And this is my second husband, Shi Kuang."

The clearing went dead silent again. Su Qinglan felt her eyes widen with astonishment.

She knew Wang Mo had been pursuing Lin Muyu for a long time, so that made sense. But Shi Kuang? The Lion Tribe had only been staying for a short period!

"You’ve already mated with Shi Kuang too?" Bai Ling gasped, her eyes nearly popping out of her head.

"Muyu, you are going so fast! We thought you were the fierce female who would never be tamed, but you got two husbands in the blink of an eye!"

Wang Mo looked a bit resigned, as if he had already accepted sharing her with the lion, while Shi Kuang looked incredibly smug.

Lin Muyu just shrugged, though her face was still red. "What can I say? Things happened. And now... I really don’t know which one of them provided the cub in my belly! They both look at me like I’m a piece of meat every day!"

Su Qinglan looked at the two men, then at her friend’s glowing face. She couldn’t help but laugh. "Well, I guess congratulations are in order! Our little group is growing even bigger."

Lin Muyu’s face was practically steaming by now; she gave a look to her husbands, and they immediately understood. Wang Mo and Shi Kuang immediately took the cubs and both Rong Ye and Bai Ling’s husband away.

So the females could talk more privately.

As they go into a short distance away, she grabbed Su Qinglan and Bai Ling by their arms and immediately dragged them inside the house.

She knew that telling this kind of story in front of the males and the passing beastman would be far too embarrassing, and she didn’t want the whole tribe knowing her private business just yet.

Once they were safely behind the hide curtain, Lin Muyu let out a long breath as she finally told the story of how she ended up with two husbands in such a short time.

It had all happened so fast. One day, she had finally given in and embraced Wang Mo, accepting him as her first mate after he had chased her for years. But the very next day, things went completely off the rails.

"I was hunting," Lin Muyu explained, waving her hands around. "I saw a small, fast beast, and I wanted it for dinner. I was so focused on the chase that I didn’t realize I had wandered way too far from the tribe’s territory."

Suddenly, a massive, evil ferocious beast had leaped from the bushes to attack her. In her panic to escape, Lin Muyu had slipped and fallen into a hidden valley.

It wasn’t just any valley; it was filled with aphrodisiac flowers, rare blooms that released a scent that could make any beast lose their mind.

Shi Kuang, who had been strolling nearby and saw her fall, didn’t hesitate. He jumped into the valley to save her.

She had been grumpy about it at first. She was a stubborn female, and she didn’t like being forced into a mating by a flower.

But at the end of the day, she had to resign herself to her fate. Shi Kuang had jumped into a pit of danger to save her life. If it weren’t for him, she would have ended up in the stomach of that ferocious beast.

She wasn’t cruel enough to remove his mating mark after he saved her. She decided she would just have to accept this "silly lion" into her family.
