"Young master, what is your end goal?" Nadine ever so calm, suddenly had her eyes gleam, as she asked.

"Naturally the top," was Noel’s answer.

But, Nadine shook her head, as she elaborated, "I don’t mean that."

"As long as you are alive... I, actually had never had even doubted that you are going to reach the top, you are talking about."

"But, what I’m asking for, is more than simply the top."

"It’s about what lay after the Laws."

"Do you know? That, if one is strong enough... then, even returning time back, and reviving someone is possible?"

"Can you reach that?"

"If it’s about reviving mother, then, even without you asking, I’m going to revive her." Noel, said.

His voice that didn’t lack even an ounce of conviction, that he was really going to do that, and his tyrannical posture, when he is actually far weaker than her, and even more weaker than he once was, when he was merely eight years old, strangely gave Nadine, some kind of inexplicable confidence

That’s why for the first time, ever since, Elaine passed, Nadine, knelt on her one knee, then, with a solemn tone, and crazy eyes, she said.

"If your path leads beyond the Laws... then I will walk it behind you, even if it breaks me. From this moment, so long as you do not turn from that path, I am yours."

Noel nodded, his lips arching ever so slightly, expressing, his satisfaction.

"Then, let’s go, our first step forward... starts from this moment." Noel, said, as he stood up from his seat.

And Nadine, nodded instantly, "Yes, master."

Hilda at the side, who saw everything, felt strangely jealous at the sudden familiar way Nadine called Noel, and so, she stopped at her words of "young master," and corrected herself, "Let’s go, master."

Back on the Everen house’s main dimension, Noel, sat in a reception room, with Hilda, and Nadine behind him, and Selena in front of him.

He has a smile on his face, while Selena?

She was quietly looking a him, having already noticed the changes that happened to him once again.

Not to the extent of the ones before, but still significant enough, that she wouldn’t have found it strange, if she was told that she slept a couple of years, and she didn’t notice.

In the end, attributing all of that, to him, simply being Noel, she shook her head, and asked, "Have you come to brag about regaining back your subordinates, or to have a quite conversation with me?"

Then, seemingly not satisfied with this much, in a sharp voice, she added, "Because, I don’t plan to have it, in the presence of anyone else."

Noel chuckled, before he made a gesture with his hand to let Hilda and Nadine, to go out of the room.

Only then, when they were finally all alone, did Noel open his mouth and say, "Okay, now tell me what you have in mind?"

"Shouldn’t you start first?"

"I mean, you probably, have more bent up words you have, you want to say to me, right?"

Selena, now in different mind after her conversation with her mother yesterday, asked.

And Noel raised his eyebrow, as he bluntly said.

"Like how you imprisoned me? Covered my eyes and ears? And let me feel like shit?"

"We are going to talk about that?"

"I have never done anything this extreme." Selena raised her voice, a little flustered, as she said.

And Noel, chuckled, before he asked again, "Okay, then, what have you done?"

Selena took a moment to consider her word choice, then with a bright smile said, "I was protecting you from doing anything reckless... from involving yourself in dangerous situations, when you didn’t seem to have the ability to tackle your bad situation."

Noel laughed heartily, at these words, before he praised, "How nice of you!"

And seemingly not enough, he added, "Then, its seems I need to thank you?"

Selena coughed before she said, "Well... not to that extent."

The room became silent after Selena’s words, Noel, stared at her with a scrutinizing gaze, sized Selena, before he shook his head, and said.

"Well, before we continue with our conversation, your mother is still here, right?"

"I mean, she didn’t suddenly have any other business and went away, right?"

At his words, Selena, who had actually already made a difficult decision after she pondered on her own yesterday, seemed to have her mood suddenly ruined as she asked. "You didn’t come today for me... did you?"

"No, I didn’t." Noel, with a smile on his, replied, as if it was a matter of fact.

Then, as if fearing, his point, was has still not got to her, he clarified.

"I wanted to see Clarissa, and a long the way, I thought that I could meet you, and finish what ever we have."

Selena bit her lip at his words, in her mind, many thoughts going.

But, one of them stood out.

’Now, he is even brazenly saying Clarissa instead of mother in law.’

Unlike his passionate attitude of yesterday, the calm Noel of today, felt more similar to the him, before he lost his memories, despite the different in approach he was taking, and Selena found it hard, to how she should deal with.
