These question marks represent your levels by the way." replied Lucius.

"What do you mean by question marks above our heads?" asked Anya.

"I mean your rank. Apprentice Knight/Mage start from Lvl 0 to 9, Warrior Knight and Battle Mage are Lvl 10 to 20, Lvl 21 to 30 for True Knight and Elemental Mage, Lvl 31 to 40 for Commander Knight and Adept Mage, Lvl 41 to 50 for Marshall Knight and Mage Master, Lvl 51 to 100 for Noble Knight and Noble Mage. Royal Knights start from Lvl 101 and I don’t know what their maximum level is."

"I see. So tell me, what level am I?" asked Old Yezi while brushing his beard.

"Lvl 250." answered Lucius.

Old Yezi then retracted all his aura, now speaking no different from an ordinary old man you’d walk by in the street.

"How about now?"

"I can still see your level if that’s what you’re asking me. By the way, what rank is your level?"

"I see. Concealing skills don’t work on you, I wonder if it’s the same for all Earthlings. I’m an Advanced Royal Knight which is also the peak of the Royal Knight Rank or the Grand Mage Rank for mages. Above that is the Regal Knight or Celestial Mage Rank. The Noble, Royal/Grand and Regal/Celestial are called the Deity, True Deity and God Ranks by other Worlds, only we have different names for them. Also, each rank is divided into three grades; Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced." explained Old Yezi.

A Beginner Noble Knight first comprehends a Law Concept, and turn it into a Law Principle which is the Intermediate grade of that rank and at the Advanced Holy Knight Rank, your Law Principle becomes a Law Authority.

When you advance to the Beginner Royal Knight Rank, your Law Authority becomes a Law Command, a Law Decree at the Intermediate level and a True Law at the Advanced level." explained Old Yezi.

Old Yezi’s explanation completely shocked Lucius as well as made him understand what Sugitrox meant when he said someone from the Walelur World could easily kill someone from the Lumen World of the same level.

It was because the Advanced strength requirements of the Lumen World were the Initial strength requirements of the Lumen World. In simple terms, those from the Walelur World were like primary school students learning university level stuff. And those from the Lumen World were like university level students starting from primary school education before being taught university level stuff.

"That’s too long." Lucius replied casually while elated internally but Old Yezi didn’t notice any of that and comforted Lucius.

"Don’t worry boy, as long as you have a firm understanding of your Law then you can improve quickly. Luckily, you have me as your teacher and will give you some pointers if there’s something you don’t understand. Anyway, what Law did you comprehend?"

"I have two Laws master, the Slaughter Law and the Poison Law but for some reason, my Poison Law is much stronger than my Slaughter Law, why is that?" asked Lucius.

"Show me." said Old Yezi while brushing his beard with his hand.

Lucius then stood up and faced the tree, a layer of crimson energy covered his hand and he swiped his hand at the tree. A twenty centimetre cut was left on the tree’s stem.

"Not bad. Not bad at all but you should infuse more Mana into your Law Power to make it stronger, afterall, to fully unleash the power of a Law, Mana is needed. Now, show me the other one." said Old Yezi.

Lucius then conjured a watermelon seed size poison ball and threw it at the tree. The tree then rotted at a rapid speed. In a dozen seconds or so, the tree had turned into saw dust.

The duo’s jaws dropped to the floor from the spectacle Lucius just pulled. Never before had they seen someone do what Lucius just did.

"My boy, that poison ball just now, you didn’t infuse any Mana into it when casting right?"

"Yes. For my Poison Law, I don’t need Mana to cast poison related skills. In fact, in a few days or weeks, I’ll be stronger than you master, then, we’ll go and kill those guys who are relentlessly hunting you down."

Lucius was really telling the truth when he said this. It would take him weeks at maximum to reach the Poison Monarch level. When he reached that level, he could even jump levels and fight those above him in strength.

Lucius laughed out loud while watching the two brawl on the ground. These were the moments he’d missed the most when in the Debris Domain. Finally, he had reunited with his family.
