Courting Death System-Chapter 66: But I love you
The nine human-craig monsters and the nine humanoid monsters rushed towards one another and collided. The humanoid monsters were sent flying by the collision which clearly indicated that the human-crab monsters were stronger than the humanoid monsters.
The humanoid monsters who didn’t have mouths didn’t scream in pain after such a powerful impact. They quickly stood up and rushed at their enemies again but due to the strength difference, the human-crab monsters had an overwhelming advantage.
Using the high temperature pincers, each human-crab monster grabbed their target and the human upper body beat the shit out of the humanity monsters. Each punch broke a bone of the humanoid monsters and the pincers were quite literally cooking their flesh slowly.
[Hahaha, good boys! Beat them up! Teach them a lesson! Don’t quickly kill them but thoroughly beat them up!] said the Deity who created the human-crab monsters.
" Haste makes waste. Try to create a stronger army next time." said Lumen while watching the embarrassing match.
[Thank you for letting me win.] said the True Deity who created the humanoid monsters.
[Buddy, I don’t know if that mask of yours has made you blind or not but I’m clearly the one who’s winning. Your toys are about to die and my Volcano Human Crabs are about to have their first victory.] said the cloaked True Deity, completely hiding his appearance. The other True Deity no longer said anything but just watched as the battle continued.
The nine humanoid monsters were about to die when the tables suddenly turned. Their grievous wounds healed at a rapid speed and the human-crab monster attacks no longer worked on them. The humanoid monsters then forced themselves inside the human-crab monsters.
Through its mouth, nose, ears and even their pores. They turned into this liquidy substance as if they had become "Symbiotes" from Earth’s alien invasion movie.
The human-crab monsters were completely helpless against the actions of the humanoid monsters. And after the humanoid monsters successfully entered the body, the Volcano Human Crabs upper body began to transform. Their muscular bodies became skinny, exposed ribs and thin waist. The eyes fused into one big volcanic eye, the mouth, ears and nose also disappeared and only the fire hair was left.
[What’s going on?! What the hell did you do?!] asked the Cloaked True Deity.
[I won.] answered the True Deity wearing a cat mask with one eye before collecting his new and improved "toys" as they called them. The humanoid monsters had possessed the human-crab monsters, thus winning the battle.
"You never told me your name," said Lumen.
[Geigei Akutama.]
"Geigei... congratulations on your victory. I will now send you to the Lumen Apocalypse Domain where Deities and Gods reside." said Lumen while slightly pushing Geigei and he disappeared.
"As for you. Go back to the drawing board. Remember, you only have two more chances to win before bad things happen to you."
[Yes, I won’t disappoint you.] said the cloaked Deity before he disappeared too.
’Geigei Akutama... What an interesting fellow.’

Deep within an inhabitable location, where the air was green and toxic, the ground was liquid and acidic and countless poisonous creatures lived here. In a cave, a woman’s acrems sounded out, filled with extreme pain and agony.
"Aaahhh! Huu... huuu... huuu...Aaahhh!" screamed the green veined and dirty woman.
"Lucy... haaa... haaa... haaa... push one more ti-AAAGHHH!!!"
"Waaa... Waaa... Waaa..."
The cries of a newborn baby sounded out in the eerie forest, attracting the attention of many creatures. The woman gently held her baby and breast fed him. In the dark cave, she couldn’t see his appearances clearly but as the green clouds in the sky darkened, lighting crackled and often illuminated the cave for a few seconds.
Only then did the woman see her baby’s appearances, even though she was terrified, she didn’t throw the baby away.
Her baby had a very big head and elongated head, no eyes nor nostrils, only a toothless mouth. It also had a spinal cord like tail with a sharp end and small baby claws. She had given birth to a monster without a doubt. The baby’s skin colour was dark green with a metallic shine to it.
As monstrous as the baby was, it was her baby nonetheless. As a mother, she couldn’t abandon her baby just because he looked different.
"Don’t worry, even though you look scary and terrifying, I’m gonna raise you right. Your appearance won’t define your personality nor your character. You will be a hero who will save this world." softly muttered the mother as she gazed at her baby.
"Armin, don’t disappoint mommy, okay."
...
{A Xenomorph, she actually gave birth to a Xenomorph. I have to protect it. Such a powerful creature will definitely be an asset and a key to my freedom.} said Lucius while watching from outside. He was constantly watching everything that happened within these universes and was pleasantly surprised to see the birth of the very first Xenomorph in all Apocalypse universes.
The Apocalypse universe consisted of Zombies, Vampires, Mutant Beasts, Poisonous Critters and Humans. The humans had the smallest population and were the weakest of all the creatures in the Apocalypse universe.
{Since one of the Apocalypse universes has given birth to a special life form, it won’t take long for all the universes to give birth to the first batch of warriors for me, I just have to be patient.}
...
"Li Chen! What were you thinking?! What good would committing suicide give us? Tell me, would we be happy after you killed yourself? Would we be happy to bury you when you’re the one who’s supposed to bury us? Answer me!"
"I would be happy! I would be relieved! I would be free from your expectations! I would be free from your hopes and dreams! I would be free from your painful and disappointed look you always give me! I would no longer be a burden and an embarrassment to you! I’ve failed you as a son, father, please forgive me."
Son and father stood in the rain while bickering. The son looked eighteen years old, ordinary looks and a thick rope around his neck. As for the father, he was handsome, elegant like a scholar and refined like a person of a high position.
"Son, there’s many ways to deal with this but killing yourself is not an option. Did you ever consider our feelings when you tried to commit suicide." said the father.
"What about my feelings? What about me? Just because I have zero cultivation talent, just because I don’t have an Unbreakable Will, Cold Temperament or the Soul Piercing Gaze, does this mean I don’t have feelings. Just because you’ve never seen me struggle doesn’t mean I don’t! Just because you’ve never seen me cry doesn’t mean I don’t! I’m also human so why treat me so differently.
This is a cultivation world, where strength reigns supreme! In this world, there’s no space for me, I don’t belong here. So why don’t you just let me put myself out of misery." replied Li Chen.
"Li Chen, I know it’s hard, I know it’s not easy but taking the easy way out isn’t the answer. Would Ai approve of your actions?"
"Hahaha! Father, you just don’t get it. Tell me, what does it feel like to not be a cultivator? What does it feel like to fully express yourself? What does it feel like to be an ant? Do you know what I go through everyday? Everyone in the family looks down on me, no one takes me seriously, my girlfriend just broke up with me and I don’t have friends, not even one friend. If you were, where would you get the strength to continue living on?
I’ve tried, believe I’ve tried but it’s just not enough, it’s never enough! The man who killed grandpa stood in front of me and I couldn’t do anything to him, absolutely nothing. I’m begging you, allow me to end my misery. It’s lonely here." said Li Chen while crying.
"Let’s go home." said Li Chen’s father after a long time of silence. Li Chen, who was very weak, could only allow himself to be dragged away by his father."
Initially, it wasn’t like this. When he was young, Li Chen had friends, his siblings and relatives looked up to him but when he was eight years old, he was tested for Cultivation Talent and unfortunately, he had none. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
No Spiritual Root, No Spiritual Soul and No Spiritual Physique. One of the three was needed in order for one to become a cultivator because they allowed one to feel and interact with Spiritual Qi in the air. When news of Li Chen’s talent spread, no kids wanted to play with him anymore, his siblings no longer looked up to him and were often bullied while growing up.
Only Ai, his childhood sweetheart, didn’t abandon him and remained by his side all these years but after ten years with Li Chen still being as weak as he was, she had to let him go. Just thinking about her last words brought him immense pain.
...
"Li Chen, I don’t love you any more. You’re weak and helpless. You can’t protect, provide and take care of me. We’re done, it’s over!" said Ai.
"But I love you!"
"Then it’s not my fault you fell in love with me."
