Crownless Reincarnation: New World? Nah I'd win-Chapter 147: Royal Consort.
Chapter 147: Royal Consort.
[Early Morning – Throne Room, Royal Palace]
The morning light filtered gently through the high windows of the throne room.
There were no signs of the fight from before as everything was cleaned.
Despite the hour, the hall was filled with people—nobles, generals, ministers, and other high-ranking officials, all standing in respectful silence.
Their eyes were focused on the platform ahead where the future of the kingdom was about to change.
At the center stood an aged woman draped in a long ceremonial robe.
Her voice, though old, still carried strength and authority as she addressed the gathered court.
Her words echoed softly beneath the vaulted ceilings.
"To all who have gathered here," she began, pausing briefly, "we are here today to witness the passing of a crown... and the beginning of a new reign."
On one side of the platform stood King Aldirc, supported slightly by two servants who helped keep his posture straight.
His face, lined with time and fatigue, bore a rare gentleness.
He said nothing, only watching quietly.
Opposite him stood Inara.
She wore a simple yet elegant gown, crimson with gold accents, and no jewelry beyond a small pendant at her neck.
Her expression remained calm, but her fingers were laced tightly together in front of her, betraying her nerves.
The old woman raised her hand slowly. "Step forward, Lady Inara."
Inara did as instructed, walking with steady steps until she stood before King Aldirc.
When the woman gave the cue, Inara bowed deeply at the waist.
Aldirc looked at her for a long moment.
There was something in his gaze—pride, perhaps, mixed with quiet sorrow.
With a subtle nod to the servants, he reached up and removed the crown from his head.
His hands trembled slightly, but he held it steady as he stepped forward.
Then, gently, he placed the crown atop Inara’s head.
The room turned silent as everyone looked at it quietly.
The old woman raised her voice, firmer now. "As witnessed by the court, under the guidance of the old king and the laws of this land, I hereby declare—Inara Var Krivos, daughter of this kingdom, is now your Queen."
There was a heartbeat of silence.
Then the applause began.
It started soft, from a few hands, and then spread across the entire hall.
The sound rose, respectful and warm, filling the room. Some bowed their heads.
Others clapped more enthusiastically but only a few smiled.
Inara slowly straightened.
The crown sat heavier than she expected, but she didn’t let it show.
She turned slightly and glanced at Aldirc, who gave her a small nod of approval before stepping back with the help of his servants.
She faced the court now as their queen.
In that moment, the kingdom had a new ruler, and the people standing before her had accepted it.
"As the new queen, I have a lot to say," Inara said, her voice echoing in the silence. "People of this kingdom, listen to me."
It wasn’t loud, but it didn’t need to be. Everyone was already listening.
"Today marks the end of one era," she said, her gaze steady as it swept across the room, "and the beginning of another."
No one moved.
The nobles remained quiet, the generals stood still, and the ministers waited patiently.
"I do not stand here because I wished for the throne," she continued.
"Nor do I claim to be perfect. I have made mistakes. I will likely make more. But I promise you one thing—I will not lead with pride. I will not rule with fear."
She paused briefly, letting the words settle.
"This kingdom has suffered, but under my reign it will only grow."
She let the silence settle within the place before she raised her hand.
"And now, I would like to announce something more," she said. "The one who will be by my side from now on."
There was a silence within the place as her eyes were fixed on one person.
A young man with long wheat-blonde hair tied neatly behind his back.
He looked at the queen, who nodded softly.
Akamir stepped forward as he walked towards her.
Inara looked at everyone as he stood by her side.
"I hereby, as the queen of Krivos Kingdom," she said, her voice booming, "declare Asher Leon Vyavan as the Royal Consort!"
Asher stood tall beside Inara, his posture composed, face calm.
He didn’t look proud or arrogant... just tired?
"From this moment forward," she said quietly but clearly, "you stand not only beside me, but beside this kingdom."
Asher bowed his head. "I will serve with honor, my Queen."
The old woman lifted her voice again.
"Let it be known—Asher Leon Vyavan is now the Royal Consort of Queen Inara Var Krivos."
Applause followed, slower than before, and far less united.
Inara smiled and she walked towards him and hugged him gently.
"You know," she whispered softly in his ear, "I can still feel your cum inside me."
Akamir’s lips twitched but he didn’t let it show on his face.
"Just to be sure," he mumbled softly, "you are on your safe day, right?"
Inara broke the hug as she took a step back.
The mischievous smile on her face didn’t seem to belong to the queen.
Akamir blinked in surprise as he looked at her departing figure.
Only a few seconds later did he understand the meaning behind the smile.
’...Ah, I am fucked.’
"Congratulations," Nayomi said, floating beside him. "Papa Akamir."
"Fuck off," Akamir said, walking away as a group of nobles rushed towards him.
He wasn’t in the mood for their stupid praises anyway.
But as he was walking out of the room, he remembered something.
"Come to think of it," Akamir said, glancing at Nayomi. "What was that glitch before?"
"Hmm?" Nayomi tilted her head in confusion. "What do you mean?"
"When I was about to fight that elf," Akamir mumbled, rubbing his neck. "There was that glitch."
"...Yeah," Nayomi said, deep in thought. "I also didn’t understand that."
They both remained silent before Akamir fell into deep thought.
He only came back to his senses when a soldier collided with him.
"Uh, I am sorry, my lord," he said, bowing immediately. "I wasn’t looking."
"It’s okay," Akamir said. "Why were you running anyway?"
The soldier finally looked at them.
"An accident happened in Pendora Academy."
He said, his voice filled with remorse.
"A professor died yesterday."
Akamir looked at him blankly. "...What?"
