Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough-Chapter 1727: Thrown to The...
Chapter 1727: Thrown to The...
Whoosh~ Bang!
Around the same time that the spiritual tree found itself at his old location, Xuan Hao found himself being thrown violently into the ground by some unseen force that had been manifested through the random teleportation talisman that he had just used.
In fact, being violently thrown was the most apt description from what he had just experienced after using the random teleportation talisman, as it had truly felt like some divine force had picked him up and thrown him through space at a terrifying speed. Rendering him unable to even get a general sense of the direction he had been thrown in, let alone stop himself from making intimate contact with the ground after reaching the other side.
All he could do was feel thankful that he hadn’t decided to give this talisman to one of his disciples, as the force it applied to his body while he was being thrown through space would have been more than enough to tear apart someone in the Dao Seed Realm.
If anything, hitting the ground on the other side was the least painful part of using the random teleportation talisman... But... At the very least, he could be certain that the spiritual tree would have no way to follow him now, as the power of the random teleportation talisman had clearly far exceeded that of the Perfection Realm of the Dao of Space and had reached a realm far beyond that.
What this realm was, he had no idea, might be the Origin Realm or it might somehow be beyond that. None of it really mattered, as he was just happy that he was now safe from the spiritual tree that had been chasing after him for the past few days.
Now... Another problem had emerged in its place and that was to figure out where he had ended up.
At the very least, he didn’t end up crashing into some fairy bathing, something he felt grateful for.
Although, on second thought, it might have been a preferable outcome, as it would mean that there would be someone, he could ask for directions from and figure out where he was on the continent.
The only thing he could tell from his connection to his disciples was that he had potentially ended up somewhere desolate in the Western Central Region.
Even though this was preferable compared to ending up in some church’s sacred ground in the Southern Central Region, it wasn’t entirely safe, as his knowledge of the Western Central Region was far from expansive.
Outside of the Heavenly Dragon Temple that he had made enemies with in the past, he didn’t really know much outside the fact that the Western Central Region was far more united than any of the other Central Regions.
That and the cultivation path followed by the cultivators of the Western Central Region was different from the traditional cultivation path.
If I’m not wrong, it was called the Noble Eightfold Path, though it does not seem to be a traditional cultivation path but instead seems more like a set of guidelines for living a moral and mindful life that they believe leads to liberation from suffering and the cycle of rebirth.
Although, the Noble Eightfold Path seems more like it provides a general framework for the different paths in the region, like the Bodhisattva Path...
Feeling a sense a wonder and curiosity as he thought about the cultivation path of the monks of the west, as they were commonly known through the continent, Xuan Hao could not help feeling himself becoming a bit interested in finding out more about the Western Central Region.
However, considering that he still hadn’t figured out if his current location was safe, that was something that would have to wait until later.
For now, he needed to ensure his own safety and make sure that he wasn’t in some kind of forbidden zone.
After all, even though he was happy that there wasn’t anyone around to attack him when he had first ended up in an intimate moment with the ground, it also made him a bit worried, as normally, the sound should at least have attracted a few demon beasts to his location by now.
Meaning that he was either in some remote part of the Western Central Region without any demon beasts around or he had ended up somewhere dangerous that weaker demon beasts didn’t dare enter.
In a sense, because of this potential danger, he hadn’t yet dared to extend his divine sense beyond a few hundred meters around himself.
But even just extending his divine sense a few hundred meters, it had already become clear that there were no demon beasts lurking nearby observing him. Instead, not to mention demon beasts, there wasn’t even a single insect in the forested area he found himself in, something that was incredibly unusual and instantly made it clear that he likely hadn’t ended up in some desolate part of the Western Central Region.
Because of this, even though his instinct was to use the Dao of Space to leave as fast as possible before he ended up running into something dangerous, he also understood that using the Dao of Space to try and teleport himself in this kind of situation could be incredibly dangerous, as the use of the Dao of Space might trigger some formation if he had ended up in some ancient sect ruins.
Before he got a better idea about his current situation and where he had ended up, it was best to restrict his usage of the Dao of Space to the minimum and only explore the old-fashioned way.
After all, there was a reason why this kind of exploration method was preferred even by cultivators after they broke through to the Domain Lord Realm and gained the ability to fly... And that reason was that it was far safer to walk slowly than to fly where you would be easily spotted.
That and the slower speed made it easier to detect any traps or dangers that might be hiding ahead.
