Cultivating in a Demonic Sect with my System-Chapter 45: Ch : Revenge and Duels

In the deepest part of the Blood Sea sect, all the golden core elders had gathered with the sect master for a very important meeting. All of their faces were filled with anger and a terrifying demonic aura was filling the room.

The sect master was a handsome young man with sharp dark eyes. Even though he looked young, he had already lived for over a thousand years. So no one could look down on him. Seeing the angry expression of the elders he did not say anything and just asked one of the elders to tell him about their opinion about the recent big incident.

As for what incident he was talking about, it was obviously about the sudden the attack of the Radiant Sun Temple. Absorbing the origin blood of righteous sect cultivator was a very common occurrence for core disciples of the Blood Sea sect and they had been doing it for years. Some of them did face some trouble because of this but there were never a incident of a golden core powerhouse getting harmed because of this. It was mostly because of Blood Sea sect's reputation. But the cultivators of the Radiant Sun Temple were stubborn and they directly attack the Blood Sea sect. So if they did not retaliated accordingly, then their prestige would be badly damaged. With that in mind, all the elders were in favour of attacking the Radiant Sun Temple to teach them a lesson.

But none of the elders was expecting to destroy the Radiant Sun Temple with their attacks. Even though the elders were confident in their strength, if they attacked with the intention of destroying the the Radiant Sun Temple, then the other righteous sects would not just sit on the fence and see that. They would definitely come to assist the Radiant Sun Temple and that would make the situation more difficult for their disciples. In future, their disciples would be actively hunted down anywhere they went, no matter of it was territory of a demonic sect or righteous sect.

So instead of doing a sect destruction battle, the elders proposed the Sect Master to challenge the Radiant Sun Temple for a life and death duel. In that duel, the Blood Sea sect could kill of all the duel participants to show off their might. This way they would not only be able to get back their glory, they would also be able to increase it by a lot.

The sect master was satisfied with this plan and ordered one of the elders to send a letter of challenge to the Radiant Sun Temple. Not only that but he also asked the other elders to spread the news about this duel as far as possible. He was planning to increase the prestige of the Blood Sea sect to match the top tier sects with this duel.

The first person that Li Feng targeted was the female cultivator that he had been keeping an eye on for quite some time. While she was going toward a cultivation garden for her mission, Li Feng attacked her in a remote part of the sect and absorbed her inside his pool of dread without much problem.

But she was not the only person Li Feng got rid of on that day. He also took care of two more disciples.

One of them was completely absorbed by him and turned into his blood puppet but there was another girl who actually had a slightly good relation with one of the foundation establishment realm elder. So instead of completely making her disappear, Li Feng released her from his blood pool of dread after turning her into a puppet. This was something he was able to do only after reaching the foundation establishment realm. So for some of the disciples against whom he did not hold as much grudge, he was going to not completely make them disappear. Instead, they would become his puppets and spies in the Blood Sea sect.

Just like this, in just three days, Li Feng managed to get rid of all of his revenge targets except for the late stage leader Gu Ming who always stayed with other disciples. So for the time being, Li Feng decided to not force it and to wait for a good opportunity to kill him. All the disciples needed to do a few missions without exception, so Li Feng was sure that he would soon get his chance.

But what Li Feng was more interested at the current time was about a duel that was going to take place between the Radiant Sun Temple and the Blood Sea sect. Most of the important duels would happen between the higher level cultivators but a lower level cultivators like him could also participate in that duel.

For Qi gathering relam cultivators, a total of 1000 of them from both sect would need to go inside a dangerous secret realm. A disciple just needed to survive in the secret realm for three days and all the surviving disciples would be given valuable rewards.

Li Feng was interested in getting those rewards as with them he would again have an excuse to make quick progress. So if anything unforseen did not happen, he was planning to participate in the duel of the Qi gathering relam.

As for the duel in foundation establishment and golden core realm, Li Feng learnt that they would fight in one on one battles. 30 foundation establishment realm cultivators and 10 Golden Core realm cultivators would participate in these battles from both sects. Not only that but all of those battle would be life and death ones. In that case, there would be a chance that the Blood Sea sect might lose 10 golden cores from this duel which would be a painful loss even for a powerful sect like them.

The duel was going to take place after three months, so Li Feng still have a decent amount of time in his hand. The major event ahead of him now was the quarterly evaluation done by the sect elders. Li Feng needed to properly think about what level of cultivation he would want to reveal during that evaluation which would be his first.
