The children were startled and turned around abruptly. The joyful moment was cut off when they saw instructor Jin.

His shout startled them so much that they nearly dropped their drinks and they weren’t happy about that.

"Teacher Jin, what are you here at this time?" Li Jingxuan looked over his shoulder and asked.

"Yeah, you nearly caused us our drinks." Li Zhang added

"At this time of the day, teachers should either be in the office or in a classroom teaching, not roaming around." Li Yuhan also said, furrowing his brows as he glared at instructor Jin.

They acted as if he had ruined their peace and quiet. Which... he did, actually.

Instructor Jin was speechless by their defensive and accusations. He was taken aback by their sudden hostility. He was almost convinced by them that he did something wrong.

"You guys skipped class and dared to sit here eating lavishly?!" He said coldly, putting on a tough attitude like a mentor.

"We didn’t skip class, we were punished." Li Jingxuan kindly corrected him.

"Were you punished to sit out and eat your lunch?"

"Well... Not exactly, we were punished for doing fifteen laps around the campus. But we’re tired after doing thirteen so we’re taking a break here." Li Jingxuan explained.

"If you can take a break whenever you want and eat snacks to recover, then the punishment isn’t serving its purpose. You are being punished to suffer and learn from your mistakes. Put those things away right now and continue running. Once you’re done, go back to class to continue your lesson."

The three exchanged glances, they didn’t want to leave right away, but they needed a reason to convince instructor Jin.

"We’re almost done here, Teacher Jin. Just give us a few more minutes." Li Jingxuan pleaded with stars in his eyes.

"Two more laps and we’ll head back. Can’t you cut us some slack? We are in the middle of eating." Li Yuhan said

"That’s right, you have no idea how delicious and refreshing this smoothie is, otherwise you wouldn’t be in a hurry to chase us off. The coldness of this drink contrasts with the heat and it makes you feel like standing in the evening breeze. It’s just what we need after all that running." Li Zhang explained and raised his cup as if asking for a toast, afterwards, he took a long sip and narrowed his eyes in enjoyment.

Instructor Jin was moved by their persuasion, especially the way Li Zhang was drinking that drink as if it was the most delicious thing in the world.

He was tempted to try it. Words spared among the staff are that the Li brothers father, Li Jain is the owner of the Spiritual Tavern in Qingyuan Town. And they all had at some point bought food from there.

Instructor Jin hesitated: "Is it really that delicious?" He asked and when Li Zhang nodded, he added: "Let me have a taste."

All three of them pause and look up at him. Li Jingxuan tried to scoop to the side but was pulled back by Li Zhang. Although they wanted to be generous, it’s really hard to do so with such a delicious delicacy.

"Give us a moment." Li Yuhan said and pulled his brothers together, forming a small circle: "What should we do? We have to give him some. Xuanxuan, why don’t you take out another cup and give it to the instructor?"

"Why should I? It was brother Zhang who tempted the teacher, he should give his to him." Li Jingxuan protested.

Li Zhang opened his mouth to retort but caught the stern gaze of instructor Jin when he peeked out, he immediately reconsidered: "Alright, alright. I know it’s my fault but when we can’t give out something we’ve already eaten, it shows no respect. If my bag was here, I would’ve given him one."

"Wait, that won’t do. We can at least give you one and a half each, why should I give you two?"

Instructor Jin chuckles and leaves. He took a sip out of curiosity along the way and his eyes widened in surprise. The children weren’t exaggerating, this is truly magnificent! The favors and texture sent a refreshing rush through him.

"The others need to try this."

With this kind of treat, he doesn’t mind the summer heat anymore.

At Azure Cloud Academy, you see the children forming a long line. In front sat a boy not older than 11, behind a desk. In front of him were many mini cups with colorful smoothies in them.

Li Jingsheng had actually opened a small business on campus.

During lunch, he took out one big cup of smoothies and was about to enjoy it, when one of his friends asked to try it. He took out a mini cup from his backpack, poured some in it and handed it over.

As soon as the other boy drank it, he offered to buy it. Li Jingsheng said that one mini cup of drink costs one gold coin. The boy didn’t hesitate and bought three mini cups. Seeing this, the others were curious and quickly gathered around.

"I want the strawberry one." A girl shouted while holding a gold coin in her hand.

"Hey, don’t cut in line, I was here first." The boy in front of her said, pulling her backwards: "I’ll take the green ones, three mini cups."

"Hey you should only buy one or two, you can’t finish it because the rest of us haven’t bought any yet."

"How is that my fault? I can buy as much as I want. You should’ve come earlier instead of hesitating!"

Li Jingsheng watched the argument with a grin. He had to give up his jam business to Boss Lan when they moved to Qingyuan Town because he couldn’t sell it in the tavern.

But now, he’d found something else to do apart from training. The scene of a blooming business always brings him joy.

He called out to those arguing: "One at a time! Everyone will get their smoothies! Hopefully..." He added in a small voice making the kids more anxious.

"What is Li Jingsheng doing?" A staff walked up to instructor Han and asked curiously,

"He’s selling a new drink called smoothies. Just look at the energy of his bustling customers." Instructor Han laughed.

"Is he supposed to be doing that?" The staff member asked.

"Why not? It’s lunch time, he’s not breaking any rules. As long as the drinks are good and everyone plays fair, let them have fun." Instructor Han shrugged his shoulders.

"You sound like you have tried it." The staff member looked at him suspiciously.

"I did, I was fortunate to get a sip and it’s really delicious. I will order some later when I get home. This kind of drink is good for this weather."

After he was sold out, Li Jingsheng took the smoothie he saved for himself and went to have his lunch but a little girl was stubbornly following him. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

"Come on Jingsheng, let me have it, I can pay you double."

Li Jingsheng refused her: "I already said no. This is the only one left and I haven’t even tried it yet."

"Can I have it after you’ve tasted it?" She asked cutely

Li Jingsheng only took one looked and said: "No,"

"Come on, it’s really good. About triple the price?" The girl didn’t want to give up.

Li Jingsheng stopped in his tracks, glancing back at her pleading eyes: "At least you know how it tastes, but I don’t. I’m sorry, I can’t and won’t give this to you. But I promise to bring more tomorrow and you’ll be the first person I sell to."

"Ok, but you better keep your promise." The girl agreed reluctantly and left.

Li Jingsheng sighed, and went to a quiet corner to eat his lunch. It’s a bit lonely for him without Yujian.
