Cultivation Struggles of a Lowly Fox-Chapter 420 – Moon Aiko Overwhelmed
Moon Aiko immediately hid behind Brave Passion. "What is supposed to happen now-"
Before Aiko could finish her words.
"Are you her friend?"
"She is so cute."
"Can we stay with her?"
"Take us with you!"
Nightingale fainted standing upright. The supposed feral Foxes were gently 'seducing' the Vicious Jade Fox to take them away.
She had never seen that before! They were always grumpy and very unstable. Making it difficult to work with them or even give them food.
"Sit down. One at a time." Brave Passion commanded like she was already their leader.
'That won't-' Nightingale almost coughed up blood when she saw all the Demonic Foxes obediently sit down and listen to her.
"Nice." Aiko kept hugging Brave Passion's waist, so as to not allow her to move away.
One Demonic Fox was already a lot to deal with, much less several dozen of them!
"I'm glad you are the leader." Aiko breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank you, Mistress." Brave Passion smiled, and all the Demonic Foxes perked their ears.
An unspoken rule was established between them. Brave Passion was their leader, while their saviour was the kind Fox hiding behind her.
Their eyes sparkled, which made Aiko quite bothered.
"So..." Aiko didn't know what to say.
"I can manage them." Brave Passion smiled.
"That would already be like 5 dozen, no...?" Aiko doubted her words. That was a lot of Foxes to manage. Moreover, there were also male Foxes.
"There is no problem." Brave Passion nudged Aiko, but Aiko kept sticking to her waist.
'I ain't coming forward no way.' Nightmare Aiko might've jumped in, but not Moon Aiko.
Aiko glanced towards Nightingale.
Nightingale coughed awkwardly. "I would have to ask my Mistress..."
'You are supposed to support me, not make things even more difficult for me!' Aiko cried out inside her mind.
"Please do." Brave Passion completely embraced the role of being a leader of the Demonic Foxes.
Aiko could only silently cry...
...
Aiko sat on the side with a few Demonic Foxes.
Nightingale was nearby just in case something went awry, but most of the time, her soul was leaving her body.
Why, you might ask?
"Is this the right pressure?" One Demonic Fox asked as she massaged Aiko's shoulders.
"A bit to the left." Nightmare Aiko proclaimed as she went through the Jade Slip.
"There are some branches entangled in your tails, I will do my best to get them out." Another Demonic Fox nudged her.
"Sure, thank you." Aiko munched on food from a nearby Demonic Fox.
'What am I looking at...?' Nightingale was unsure of what she was seeing. At one point she even questioned if she didn't fall into Illusion Formation!
This sight ensued for quite some time and that was not all.
"There are currently 3 generations, excluding generation 0. I'm the first generation and also the Leader. If you have any questions you can ask either me or the generation above you. This will also follow in terms of seniority. We are no longer barbarians, so there is no need to use strength." Brave Passion was 'educating' the new squad of Foxes.
'My god... they are building an army.' Nightingale had to stay here and watch this, but how was she supposed to report to her Mistress?! Wouldn't she get scolded?!
"There you are!" Fang Jia suddenly popped up.
"No fair! You are supposed to play with me!" Her eyes immediately lit up as she saw 'Dark' Aiko.
She jumped at Aiko and landed right between soft pillows with a pouting expression.
"Maybe if you were a good student, you wouldn't have to take so many more lessons." Nightmare Aiko sensually said.
"I will be good. I will earn a lot." Fang Jia was a lost cause, one might even question if she was the same person.
The Demonic Foxes noticed Fang Jia, but they didn't have any opinion on her. Their Mistress didn't mind it, so they didn't mind it.
They were not bothered that Fang Jia was a halfling.
"How were your supplementary lessons?" Aiko glanced at her as she kept reading through the Jade Slip.
"Old Lei is strange. He is a lot kinder and everything. Even takes his time to explain everything!" Fang Jia couldn't believe that was the same Old Lei, who made her re-smith a thousand swords a day!
"He got his daughter back." Aiko chuckled, unaware that she foiled yet another background plot...
"True. She is cute, but it feels like Old Lei is keeping her in a cage." Fang Jia pondered on her complexion.
"She was poisoned till now, so it's only natural that she wouldn't be allowed to do much. That will change over time. Old Lei is not that kind of character." Aiko smacked her lips, looking forward to more smithing or possibly forging, but she would also like it if things sped up.
"How much time do you have?" Aiko nudged her.
"About a day, not enough to make any significant progress on our thing." Fang Jia pouted.
"Oh my~, 'our thing'?" Fang Jie popped out of nowhere, scaring Fang Jia.
"It's not how it sounds like!" Fang Jia immediately defended herself.
Fang Jie got the message that her daughter visited the Demonic Foxes and was worried about her, so Lian accompanied her to here.
In the background, there was Lian with a funny expression, gesturing towards Nightingale about the current situation.
Naturally, that was ignored by the main parties...
"Heee~, and how does it sound like then~?" Fang Jie teased her daughter.
"Good timing." Aiko nodded. "How are they?"
"They are recovering well, but you really did a number on me. Do you know how many Pills I had to prepare once the research was over?" Fang Jie pouted like a child, nudging Aiko for attention.
Meanwhile, Lain was flabbergasted by the report from Nightingale and even almost fainted.
"We spent so much resources to keep them in fine condition, yet it took one visit..." Lian felt completely defeated for the first time ever.
Meanwhile, Aiko was conversing with Fang Jie about the research boring Fang Jia.
"I thought she grew out of fondling busty bosoms, but that is not the case." Fang Jie suddenly teased her daughter again.
"Mum!" Fang Jia cried out.
"Oh, my~" Fang Jie giggled as she avoided her daughter's assault.
"It's good that you have a good relationship." Aiko nodded. "It also feels you should comfort the Patriarch." The last part was added since Aiko noticed Patriarch collecting pebbles a few steps away from them with a strange expression.
Fang Jie turned around and was puzzled. Avoiding her daughter’s assault yet again, she went next to Lian to comfort her.
"What a happy family. Do they treat you well?" Nightmare Aiko was slightly curious about this since it would affect the future.
"Yeah. We will also move on the mainland soon since the Elders are getting cured." Fang Jia added.
"Already?" Aiko blinked. She didn't expect that part.
"Yeah, while this place has a lot of resources, they are still limited. Both my mothers want me to grow a lot, which means they want to shower me with rare materials." Fang Jia kept going. "So while it's possible to get more materials into this place, it's not advised, since they would have to either cross the ocean or have to deal with Movement Arrays." She sighed.
"When will you leave?" Aiko tilted her head.
"Probably in a few months, but I believe that once you leave, you won't be able to return here as everyone will be packing." Fang Jia sighed. She wished Aiko would visit her more often.
"Hmmm. I believe there will be a tournament about seats for the mainland, but who knows how that will end up." Aiko shrugged with a sigh.
"Why?" Fang Jia tilted her head.
"There are issues with Elders." Aiko shrugged.
"Is that why you are collecting Demonic Foxes?" Fang Jia was still upset that Aiko spent more time with them than with her.
"They are interesting, and I can help them." Aiko didn't really feel that way, since she really didn't know why she was doing this.
She just felt like it and then went with the flow.
"Is that why they are swarming you like this?" Fang Jia looked around. Most Foxes didn't look any different to normal Foxes if you ignored their abnormal beauty.
"They feel fine and happy around me." Aiko shrugged. She didn't want to explain this whole thing as the Jade Slip attracted her attention.
"What are you reading?" Fang Jia was curious about it too.
"Something the Demonic Foxes gave me. It's their experience and happiness for meeting me." Aiko summed up the information inside, but it was very interesting.
Their Beast Cores had a harder time attaining impurities, even if they bathed in them. Moreover, some could even completely wipe out their Beast Cores out of all impurities. Of course, that still left their body with impurities, but it still made them incomparably powerful!
Aiko was curious about what she could do if her Beast Cores were free from impurities.
"Mistress, some would like to learn about other occupations. Am I allowed to group them by their interest?" Brave Passion asked.
Fang Jia felt like this Fox was her biggest adversary. She was completely unaware that it would be the Blood Fox...
"Sure. I don't mind, but nothing that would hurt us in the long run." Aiko warned her about that part in particular.
If they only cared about sex, they would end up like the Fox Village. Well, it would be to a lesser degree since Aiko would not allow them to cultivate that sinister Technique, but still.
"Thank you." Brave Passion smiled and immediately made groups out of the Demonic Foxes.
Alchemy, Forging, Talisman making, Arrays, Inscriptions, Music Cultivation, and so on.
Everyone had their own little group, and some of them even had several.
Brave Passion led the Sound Cultivation, as she had the highest attainment, while the Foxes with the most experience leading their respective groups.
The whole thing devolved into one big information-sharing session, and their breakthrough happened every so often, making Lian cry even more.
"This is so unfair...!" Lian cried. "Why is her group so powerful, yet we have to spend so many resources just to make it work for our Disciples-!"
"There, there." Fang Jie gently caressed Lian's back. She was concerned about her mental health, but there was only so much she could do...
She was also concerned about the growth speed of the Demonic Foxes, especially when it came to Alchemy.
Even novices took only a few moments to become Pill Apprentices!
