Khal looked around him a few more times to make sure he was not hallucinating and he has indeed been trapped inside a Special Domain, but no matter if he looked left, right, or even behind him, he had to quickly realize he indeed walked straight into a Special Domain without realizing it.

"It seems I don't really have any other option but go, huh?" Khal showed a bittersweet smile and after a deep breath to calm himself down he began to walk forward.

[Strange... Something is off here.]

'Yeah, everything about this place is off!' Khal thought with a fit of scarce anger and watched his right foot as it touched slowly and carefully the blue wooden path before him.

But luckily, his fear of something unexpected happening once he stood on the wooden path didn't occur, hence he could let out a small sigh of relief and relax his stiff muscles and nerves.

[No, what I mean is that things around here are strange in their entirety. Special Domains are perilous zones where one would die almost immediately after entering thanks to the terrifying laws that rule them inside, but somehow, it is not the case here... Weird.]

Khal listened to Nova's voice and the more he heard the more he realized she indeed had a point, particularly because all the Special Domains he has read about before in his books were exactly like how she described them; places where one would die almost instantly without the slightest of hope to survive!

So it was undoubtedly strange that he was still alive after more than several minutes despite the fact he was inside a Special Domain! 𝒇r𝙚𝙚𝓌𝙚𝑏𝗻𝑜𝘷𝗲𝘭.c૦𝑚

'Maybe we are not inside a Special Domain in the end?' such an idea flashed through Khal's mind as he thought about the possibility, but unfortunately, his hope was immediately shattered.

[No, we have been trapped inside a Special Domain, no question about that.]

'...'

Khal remained silent for a while, but as he had no choice but to accept his current situation just shook his head and showed a bittersweet smile, 'At least it seems this domain is not a dangerous one so far, or else we would have already died, right?'

[Hopefully, but let's not jinx it.]

Khal nodded at that and without saying anything else began to follow the wooden path despite having no clue where it will possibly lead him. 𝑓𝓇𝑒𝑒𝚠e𝘣𝓷𝘰ѵe𝑙.com

Khal followed the blue path with cautious and slow steps with his gaze constantly scanning his surroundings for hidden dangers such as traps or beasts, but for some strange reason, he found nothing. Not even a single trace of a beast even though he has seen and encountered more than a hundred since he entered the Zero Realm!

After walking for more than half an hour inside the blue forest without seeing another living being, Khal started to feel anxious, but luckily his worry was quickly taken away as it was not long before he noticed something in the distance which seemed to be a gate of some sort.

"A city gate?" Khal's right brow raised in confusion when he recognized the huge gate which turned out to be a part of an even bigger wall, seemingly built from the blue wood just like the wooden path he was walking on.

Walking and stopping before the gate which stood about five meters high in height and three eight meters wide in width with an arched top, Khal narrowed his eyes to see what lay behind the gate.

And just as he thought, what spread far and wide in the distance was none other but a massive city, each of its buildings constructed from the woods of the trees that stood outside the walls like towering giants supporting the skies with their sheer gigantic figure alone!

'Should I go inside?' Khal asked, unsure what he should do at the moment.

[Do you think you have any other choice?]

'Not really...' Khal sighed and after he made sure there was no trap around the entrance, he walked inside with his Moonshadow and Devil Fangs firmly held in both hands.

The city was large, to say the least. The streets crafted out of black rocks were miles long and several meters wide, the azure buildings were more than four stories high while the decorations on the sides were almost as huge as a real human!

The whole place made Khal feel akin to a mere ant in the middle of a vast desert, making him somewhat lost of what he should do next.

'Any brilliant idea where I should go now?' Khal asked Nova as he looked behind him, only to see that the gate has already vanished and what replaced it was the same sight as the one before him and on his side.

What's more, to make things even worse than it already was, he was currently the only one inside the city, leaving him not the slightest of a chance to ask for help, much less keep himself away from the seemingly approaching boredom and loneliness.

[For the time being, try looking around the city and see if there is indeed no one around.]

Khal nodded as he did exactly that, but for some reason, he didn't put too much hope into finding even a single soul in this seemingly abandoned giant city.

Like, why should he? He was currently inside the Zero Realm, a Realm that is already a mythical and hidden world from the vast majority of races out in the remaining six Realms! So just how high were his chances of meeting with anyone else in this Special Domain which trapped himself in a seemingly neverending maze of sorts?

Well, it was closer to zero than one in percentage that was sure.

'Well, I can only wish for the best and try my finest to get out of this seeming pit of hell.." Khal thought to himself and after taking a deep breath he began to walk around the city, checking out each building in the hope to find someone or something while being completely oblivious of the fact that he was being watched by a figure in the far distance from the shadows.
