Daddy! Come Home for Dinner!-Chapter 805 - : Difficult to Judge_1
Chapter 805: Chapter 805: Difficult to Judge_1
He had to admit, this was a good life!
A competent husband who adored his wife, and wonderful in-laws.
Not everyone was so fortunate.
Being adored by one’s husband was only secondary.
The key was having wonderful in-laws, with no conflicts at all.
How much effort could it save in daily life?
Considering how few could encounter such in-laws.
“Hmph!” Victoria Wheeler huffed, but her face was all smiles.
Because, Adrian Zhekova was telling the truth.
Her life was good, worth being envied and jealous of.
Being envied didn’t take anything away from her.
Adrian Zhekova chuckled, and continued speaking with Cindy Clarke, “Regarding whether or not the second auntie supports Uncle Two’s actions, actually it doesn’t matter if she supports. What she says doesn’t matter, Uncle Two doesn’t listen to her.”
“If she talks too much, the two will just end up in a quarrel, without gaining a single benefit.”
“So, whether the second auntie shows support or not, she hasn’t shown it.” Adrian Zhekova said.
“However, since the second auntie seems a little jealous of Mom, if Uncle Two truly manages to seize the position, why wouldn’t they be happy? So, even if the second auntie doesn’t show support, if she does nothing, it would already be enough.”
“Didn’t you say that the second auntie has never been wrongheaded about major issues?” asked a puzzled Cindy Clarke.
“That’s how it has been so far.” Adrian Zhekova nodded, “But on this matter, who knows.”
“However, the second auntie has never revealed anything, so it’s hard to judge.” said Adrian Zhekova.
Cindy Clarke nodded.
At that moment, their conversation ceased.
Because Third Uncle’s family had just walked in.
Cindy Clarke had met Ella Evans at the wedding ceremony of Charlotte York and Walter Wells.
Moreover, Adrian Zhekova had just mentioned her earlier.
Seeing Aria Evans now, she naturally thought of Ella Evans.
She found that their facial features really did bear many resemblances.
If Adrian Zhekova had not mentioned her, even if she seemed familiar, Cindy would not necessarily associate her with Ella Evans.
She did not meet Ella Evans often, but Adrian Zhekova had spoken to her about Ella’s affairs.
Douglas Hamilton, Zander Hamilton’s father, was ambitious, but not to the point of coveting the Family’s Head position.
He simply wanted to have all the good stuff for himself.
He interfered in everything, even wanting to get involved in his nephew Zane Hamilton’s marriage.
He had already wreaked havoc on Zander Hamilton’s marriage back then.
It was marriage of convenience.
There was no affection between the couple.
Zander Hamilton loved his work.
Shella Summer loved showing off Zander Hamilton.
But Zander Hamilton never provided her with a chance for “showing off”, so Shella betrayed him.
This led to their eventual divorce, and only then did Zander meet Mia Sullivan, finding his other half.
What infuriated Ella Evans the most was Douglas Hamilton using Zander’s marriage for trade.
What hurt her the most was knowing about Zander’s marriage before he met Mia Sullivan.
Ella believed that, if not for Shella Summer, Zander’s relationship with Mia Sullivan would have been even more complete.
For Zander, Ella directly fought with Douglas Hamilton at the time.
She even separated from him.
She just let Douglas handle his own affairs and stop interfering in everything.
Cindy Clarke had some admiration for Ella Evans.
For having such determination.
Therefore, she naturally developed a good impression of Aria Evans.
And from what Adrian Zhekova had told her, Third Uncle Jayden Zhekova didn’t care at all about lofty positions.
He was not even particularly interested in his work.
His greatest wish was just to eat, drink, and be merry for a lifetime.
And he was consistently working hard to fulfill this wish.
Cindy Clarke found Third Uncle quite interesting.
Jayden Zhekova and Maverick Zhekova could easily be identified as brothers, sharing a striking resemblance.
This could probably be attributed to Jayden Zhekova’s easy-going nature and his constant pursuit of having a good time.
Consequently, Jayden rarely looked his age.
Thanks to his cheerful disposition, the man looked incredibly vigorous.
He wore his heart on his sleeve, devoid of worries, a fact that clearly resonated from his face.
He was all smiles upon entering, spreading a contagious jubilant aura that instantly lifted everyone’s spirits.
Upon arriving, Jayden and Aria Evans first went to wish the elders a Happy New Year.
Right behind them was Samson Zhekova, the third in line.
Samson appeared to be in his mid-twenties – a youthful sight to behold.
It was hard to imagine that he created many of the challenges in the Cooking Competition.
Samson did bear some resemblance to Adrian Zhekova, albeit not much.
Once Adrian had greeted the elders, he introduced Cindy and their little one to them.
“Third Uncle, Third Auntie, I’d like to introduce my wife, Cindy, and our son,” said Adrian, “He’s been added to our family tree. His full name is Morgan Zhekova, but we usually call him Morgan.”
“Third Uncle, Third Auntie,” Cindy greeted them.
“Hello, Third Grandpa, Third Grandma,” chimed in the little one.
Strictly speaking, he should be referring to them as “Third Uncle’s Father and Mother”.
But given how formal it would sound and the possibility that the child may not remember it, he simply addressed them as “Third Grandpa and Grandma”.
Even Adrian had addressed his elders like this when he was a child.
“Good, good,” said a delighted Jayden, looking at the little one.
Aria then took out a red packet from her bag and handed it to the child, “Happy New Year, Morgan. Here’s your red packet.”
Not to be shy, the child took the envelope and profusely thanked Aria for her generosity.
Samson had no children of his own.
He didn’t even have a girlfriend yet, let alone being married or having a child.
So, Aria always looked wistfully at other people’s children.
When Zander Hamilton and Mia Sullivan’s child was born, Aria visited them.
She couldn’t help but dote on the little one, reluctant to let go.
The little one was different from their infant.
The infant only knew how to eat, drink, poop, pee, and sleep, unaware of everything else.
But the little one could talk now which brought people joy.
His tiny milky voice and chubby cheeks were irresistibly cute.
The hint of milk scent on him was a different kind of adorable from the infant.
Despite bearing no relation, Aria adored the child.
She couldn’t even begin to imagine how overjoyed she would be if Samson had his own child.
Seeing Aria’s expression, Victoria Wheeler knew exactly what she was longing for.
It was indeed true that Aria and Jayden made a perfect couple. While they were introduced to each other by their respective families, it wasn’t a formal blind date.
They were merely given an opportunity to know each other.
Whether they could get along with each other and eventually become a couple, was entirely up to them.

And indeed, they hit it off.
It could likely be due to their similar philosophies in life.
Both led uncomplicated lives.
The Evan’s family was also wealthy.
Neither Aria nor Jayden needed to worry about making a living, given their financial status.
They were both content with what they had.
Since they led such a fortunate life, why not simply enjoy it?
Why should they make life complicated?
They instantly connected and started dating. They kept having fun until they got married and throughout their marriage, they never had a single dull moment.
