Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy-Chapter 375: Too Many Similarities
"Mr. Moore, since we have identified the cause of the illness, is there any way to cure Damon?"
Craig Landers listened to Frost Moore and asked.
Frost Moore pondered for a moment, then said, "There is a way, but it’s quite risky. If something goes wrong, Mr. Hawke might not make it."
"What way? Mr. Moore, as long as it can save Tom, no matter how risky, we have to try."
Amelia Miles hurriedly asked.
Frost Moore glanced at her, "The only way now is to find a matching host for the parasite and transfer the parasite attached to Mr. Hawke. However, it’s not easy to find a matching host, and even if one is found, the transfer process is highly risky."
Amelia Miles’ eyes inevitably reddened at his words.
"Mr. Moore, I’m begging you to cure Tom. Whatever conditions you have, I’ll agree to them."
She couldn’t let Damon Hawke be controlled for life.
No matter how difficult, she had to help Damon remove the Gu poison from his body.
"You don’t have to say anything, I will try my best to cure him. After all, being born in a family of medicine, encountering such a rare case has piqued my interest."
Frost Moore stared at Damon Hawke, a gleam of light in his eyes.
Like a doctor seeing a guinea pig for an experiment.
Amelia Miles stepped in front of Damon Hawke subconsciously.
"Um, Mr. Moore, you’re saying you need to remove the parasite, right? Then look at me, can I become the new host for that parasite?"
"You?"
"Don’t act recklessly."
Frost Moore and Damon Hawke said in unison.
Amelia Miles turned her head towards Damon Hawke, only to see his face looking extremely grim.
"Tom, I..."
"If I have to sacrifice you to gain my freedom, am I still a man? Amelia Miles, please don’t put me in an unjust situation."
Damon Hawke rebuked in a subdued voice.
Even though his words were a rebuke, there flowed a trace of warmth and pity in his tone.
Frost Moore looked at Amelia Miles and chuckled softly, "Miss Grant, I understand your urge to help Mr. Hawke get rid of the parasite. But, before anything else, let me ask you this, the parasite inside Mr. Hawke is a subordinate one, already under the command of the main parasite. Are you sure you want to pair up with Victoria Don?"
Amelia Miles: "..."
Pair up with Victoria Don?
She’s not into girls!
Amelia Miles shuddered, her goosebumps rising involuntarily.
Damon Hawke couldn’t help but chuckle lightly, gripping her hand a bit tighter.
"What are you laughing at?"
Amelia Miles bit her lip, looking at Damon Hawke with some embarrassment and annoyance.
"I’m laughing at myself, how did I never realize you’re interested in both genders?"
Amelia Miles: "..."
"Ahem, okay, Mr. Moore, do you need our help finding a new host?"
Craig Landers didn’t want to watch them flaunt their affection, so he changed the subject.
"Sure, if there’s anyone you can’t stand, feel free to bring them to me for a look."
Frost Moore raised an eyebrow and said.
Damon Hawke and Craig Landers exchanged a glance, both wondering who they could find to take on this doomed role.
After all, they’re good people, and they can’t just casually use someone as a guinea pig.
"Alright, we’ll think this through carefully."
Amelia Miles thought for a moment and then asked, "Mr. Moore, Damon has lost all his memories. Is there a way to help him regain his memory first?"
How uncomfortable is it to be without memories?
If Damon Hawke regained his memory, he could remember the things they shared.
Could it make him less averse to her?
"You want him to regain his memory? Water Moore might try using hypnotism."
Frost Moore started packing his things and said offhandedly.
After speaking, his hands paused for a moment.
He slightly raised his eyes, glanced at Craig Landers, then lowered them again to continue tidying up.
Craig Landers, who was originally listening intently, paused his actions and suddenly looked at Sarah Moore.
She can use hypnotism?
"Is Miss Mercer a psychologist?"
Sarah Moore’s heart fluttered slightly, nodding gently, "Yes, our Moore family is famous for medicine, I have been interested in psychology since I was a child, so I majored in psychology in college."
She wasn’t lying, Sarah Moore indeed studied psychology.
Maybe it was God’s deliberate arrangement to let her stand in for Sarah Moore.
Craig Landers stared directly at Sarah Moore, the strange feeling in his heart rising again.
Besides that face, why are there so many similarities between her and Leia Quinn?
"Brooke, could you help Tom with hypnosis therapy?"
Amelia Miles didn’t think too much and pulled Sarah Moore along to ask.
Sarah Moore smiled, "Of course, but not today. Mr. Hawke just finished the examination and needs rest."
"Yes, yes, you just got here, you should rest too. We’ll talk when you’re settled."
Amelia Miles was delighted as long as Sarah Moore agreed to treat Damon Hawke.
Waiting a day or two wasn’t a problem.
"Mr. Moore, Miss Mercer, I’ve already arranged your rooms. I’ll accompany you up."
Craig Landers looked at Sarah Moore and said.
"Right, right, Mr. Moore, Brooke, thank you so much for today. You should go rest, and later Tom and I will host you for dinner."
Amelia Miles quickly chimed in.
The Houghton Club had luxury suites for guests to rest in.
Before returning, she had Craig Landers arrange it.
Frost Moore glanced at Craig Landers, seeing him staring intently at Sarah Moore, his brows furrowed again and again.
"Mr. Landers, isn’t it a bit impolite to keep staring at my sister?"
Craig Landers came to his senses, smiling, "Sorry, I was a bit abrupt."
Since they’re on his turf, there’s no rush for him.
He’ll eventually figure out the connection between Sarah Moore and Leia Quinn.
Amelia Miles let Damon Hawke wait in the private room while she and Craig Landers accompanied the Moore siblings to their suite.
The elevator ascended, and Amelia Miles and Sarah Moore chatted intermittently.
The little bundle was already asleep in the nanny’s arms.
Craig Landers stood quietly inside the elevator, hands in pockets, observing the woman’s reflection in the elevator wall, his dark gaze fixed.
The elevator stopped at the 12th floor.
Craig Landers signaled the server who had been waiting at the suite door to open it.
This floor only had two luxury suites, both provided for the Moore siblings.
Amelia Miles saw each into their suite before she and Craig Landers went downstairs.
On the way down, neither spoke, each lost in thought.
Until the elevator reached the third floor, Craig Landers suddenly asked, "Elly, why didn’t Brooke’s husband come?"
Amelia Miles, eager to find Damon Hawke, casually replied, "Her husband disappeared and might be dead."
She doesn’t have a husband?
Craig Landers narrowed his eyes, saying nothing.
Up ahead, Amelia Miles slowed her pace, realizing something.
"You seem very interested in Brooke?"
Staring at her for so long, and now asking if she has a husband.
"Elly, don’t you think Brooke Moore and Chloe have some similarities?"
