Chapter 1302: Chapter 1302: No-fly Domain

After Chen Nan and a few others entered the Secret Realm, they found themselves atop a cliff, overlooking the entire realm.

The space inside the Secret Realm wasn’t large, and the end could be seen with a single glance, yet what appeared before Chen Nan’s eyes was a scene of heaven and earth collapsing.

The sky far away was fiery red, as if it had been scorched, causing the heavens to tilt, and the farther parts seemed empty, as if the sky had been split in half.

The earth was scarred, immense chasms and cracks splitting it into pieces, and everywhere were giant craters and scorched soil.

It was as if a cataclysmic battle had taken place here!

From afar, a wide passageway could be seen in the middle of the Secret Realm, flanked by towering pale stone pillars that, from a distance, resembled the ribs of some giant creature.

Whether it was the stone pillars or the stone platform at the end, all appeared incredibly eerie.

At the end of the passageway was a stone platform floating in mid-air, shrouded by a thin mist, making it impossible to see what lay on the platform.

Behind them was a stone wall; Chen Nan stepped forward to test it and found it was passable, meaning anyone could leave the Secret Realm at any time.

Suddenly, Deng Yunhe furrowed his brow and said, "This place... seems to be a No-fly Domain!"

They all tried it and found it was indeed true; a force seemed to restrain them from leaving the ground, making flight impossible.

So they could only walk quickly toward the long passageway, but before they could step down from the cliff, a shout echoed from behind.

"Wait for us."

Turning around, they saw Wen Ling and Jiang Han chasing after them, and Ning Yu quickly greeted them: "How did you get in here? It’s far too dangerous for the likes of you."

The two were merely at the Foundation Establishment Realm, whereas most cultivators entering the Secret Realm were Great Cultivators at the Golden Core Realm, and crushing them would be as easy as squashing ants.

"We cannot stand by and watch our senior brother turn evil; we must take him away!" Wen Ling seemed extraordinarily determined.

Jiang Han said nothing, but it was clear he had agreed with Wen Ling.

To them, no matter how crazy Song Qingzhu behaved now, he was still their senior brother, and it was he who cared for them after their master left.

So under any circumstances, they must persuade Song Qingzhu to turn back.

"Ah, what’s the point?" Ning Yu sighed, turning to Chen Nan, evidently seeking his decision.

Chen Nan nodded and said, "If you wish to follow, then come along, but the outcome may not be as optimistic as you think."

"Song Qingzhu is consumed by greed, dealing with a tiger, his fate won’t be good."

Wen Ling shook her head repeatedly: "No, Senior Brother is kind; he’s just momentarily lost, I can talk him out of this!"

Chen Nan said no more; it was useless anyway, seeing is believing, so they had to witness it themselves.

Hence the group walked down the mountain; by now, numerous cultivators had reached the front of the spacious passageway, which was a thousand feet wide, its stone pillars seemingly piercing the sky.

The passageway’s purpose was clearly to guide everyone entering the area to the end, but some refused to comply.

A few cultivators were reluctant to move within the passageway, fearing traps amidst its vastness, and ran outside of it.

However, these people soon vanished without a trace, their presence disappeared, seemingly swallowed.

Some tried entering the passageway after venturing outside for some distance, only for their bodies to begin disintegrating upon entry.

Before everyone’s eyes, several cultivators’ bodies disappeared rapidly, unable even to scream.

This sight chilled many cultivators’ hearts; it was apparent that once inside, the passageway must be followed, and any shortcuts were forbidden.

Some cultivators sensed danger and quietly exited the Secret Realm, but many remained, believing that Master Boyang’s legacy awaited at the passageway’s end.

"Jue Mingzi, do you think there’s really a Nascent Soul legacy there? If I obtain it, I could become a Nascent Soul True Man!" Deng Yunhe asked expectantly.

Chen Nan dashed his hopes: "The end likely holds no legacy; given Huang Boyang’s capability, he could not establish such a Restriction."

"Besides, even if you obtain a legacy, it doesn’t guarantee reaching the Nascent Soul Realm; it depends on your own efforts."

Deng Yunhe scoffed: "I don’t believe it; if I get the legacy, when I become a Nascent Soul True Man, I’ll protect you all!"

The group scoffed and continued walking.

By now, many cultivators were advancing along the passageway, but after a thousand meters, a disturbance arose ahead.

"No, they’ve vanished!"

"Not vanished, they’ve entered some kind of Restriction!"

"What do we do?"

Many shouted, and Chen Nan and the others, standing at the rear, felt a chill in their hearts.

It seemed the passageway was not quite as safe as they hoped.

"Since we want to see the end, we must brave the Restriction blocking our path."

Chen Nan said calmly, leading the way, Ning Yu hurriedly following. Under the watchful eyes of many cultivators, they stepped into the Restriction and vanished.

The Restriction was not as dangerous as Chen Nan imagined; he could not sense any danger, and once their eyes opened, they found themselves in another area.

Here, trees grew thick, grass lush, as if in the midst of a forest.

"Is this an Illusion Realm?" Ning Yu looked around, full of surprise, having been in a near-apocalyptic Secret Realm but now in such a place.

Chen Nan shook his head gravely: "It’s not a Secret Realm; it’s actually real!"

He touched leaves, plucked weeds, finding no flaw whatsoever, knowing he too had mastered Illusion Technique.

Being undetectable by him meant the Illusion’s level far exceeded his, or it was not an Illusion Realm at all but a real world.

Unknowingly, they had been transferred from the passageway to here.

Chen Nan favored the latter theory, for any Illusion must have flaws—an Illusion can never become reality.

"Let’s go, we’ll find out what’s going on ahead."

Chen Nan pushed aside the foliage to proceed, following tracks left by those before, likely Ming River Sect disciples.

Continuing along these traces should lead them to Ming River Sect, where Nascent Soul True Man resided, promising much safety.
