Chapter 4353 - 3447: Midnight Sons (9)_2

"Yes, he took it directly."

Stark tensed up again, he said, "Shiller doesn't usually eat on the go, right? The spicy roasted corn powder and sauce won't get everywhere?"

"Doctor Schiller isn't a clean freak, sir. You're the one with the cleanliness issue. And judging by the grilling and saucing technique of this small stall, the sauce will cover the corn evenly. As long as the teeth function properly, it won't get messy."

"Did Shiller sit down on the bench? Is he planning to finish the roasted corn here?"

"It seems so. I think this is a prime spot, allowing a view of the entire street while being shielded by a phone booth—a great place to enjoy spicy roasted corn."

Stark watched as Shiller ate with relish, unconsciously swallowing.

"You can't handle such spicy food, sir," Jarvis said, "and the Miles gentleman in front of you is vehemently against wasting food, so you'd better not test his limits."

"How do you know everything?" Stark couldn't help but ask.

"That's exactly why you created me," Jarvis replied, "and ever since becoming a TikToker, I'm even better at observing and analyzing life's details."

Stark raised his hand.

Dusk was falling, and the protesters had set up signs and banners, beginning to converge in one direction.

"Oh my god, hasn't Shiller finished yet?" Stark craned his neck to look over, almost standing up, "Doesn't he know staying within the protesters' range is dangerous?"

"Your remark could be considered racially insensitive, I recommend checking Miles's expression."

Stark looked over to find Miles staring at him. He cleared his throat and explained, "I learned from the S.H.I.E.L.D. Director that the Roxon Corporation has arrangements in the Bronx, and the recent frequent protests might be related to them. It's not just Shiller; the protesters could also be in danger."

Miles's attention was indeed diverted, and he focused intently on the protesting crowd, trying to spot any suspicious characters.

While talking to Miles, Shiller finally finished the roasted corn and tossed the stick into a nearby trash can, then walked over to another street.

Stark stood up, and Miles followed behind him as they both silently headed towards the other street.

Police were scattered at both ends of the street, with patrol cars parked at the intersection, blocking the road tightly to ensure no other vehicles could enter. Many reporters were crowded behind them, craning their necks curiously.

Stark saw Shiller walk past a patrol car and sit in the passenger seat of another vehicle.

"It's Mr. Cage," Jarvis replied before Stark could even ask.

"Don't misuse your mind reading technique," Stark said with feigned seriousness, "I don't really care who's driving."

The car didn't drive away; it remained parked. It seemed Shiller was observing the protesters from inside the car.

As night fully descended, a sudden scream erupted from the crowd.

Stark reacted quickly, tossing his nano armor skyward, the armament completed in an instant. Miles's battlesuit used the same technology, only his was liquid-based. In the next second, the two of them sprang into action simultaneously.

Suddenly, in the crowd, a person started burning, screaming as they knelt to the ground. A flaming motorcycle descended from the sky, and a large Black man covered in flames was seized by a flaming skull.

"You are guilty..."

The crowd scattered in terror. Iron Man landed immediately.

"Let him go, Ghost Rider!"

"He is guilty and must face judgment."

After speaking, the flames burned even fiercer.

Just as Stark was about to make a move, another flaming skull head rushed over.

"Stop! Johnny! You can't keep aiding Mephisto in killing the innocent! Let go of him!"

Both Stark and Miles were bewildered, wondering how Ghost Rider could have an internal conflict. One said he's guilty, the other said he's not; so is he guilty or not?

Johnny seemed unable to hear Danny's words; he just gripped the man's neck, lifting him higher as the flames burned more intensely.

Danny couldn't stand it any longer. He charged forward, crashing into Johnny's arm. Johnny's judgment attempt was disrupted, and the flames on the man extinguished.

Johnny's fiery eyes instantly turned to Danny, and he punched Danny in the face. Not to be outdone, Danny swung back with a kick, sending Johnny crashing into his motorcycle.

"Everyone stop!" Stark shouted. He flew up, then accelerated downwards, grabbing Johnny as he lunged for Danny and flung him aside. Little did he know Johnny would pounce on the man again.

Miles, quick on his feet, shot a line of Spider Silk at Johnny's leg, yanking it backward forcefully. Johnny lost his balance and crashed heavily to the ground.

In just a moment, the man who was screaming earlier suddenly began convulsing, his muscles swelling violently as a luminous green spread across his skin.

"The Hulk?!" Stark exclaimed, surprised as he watched the giant rise—it looked just like the Hulk.

But soon, he realized this big guy was different from the Hulk; his green radiated a sinister glow, his eyes turning completely bloodshot, and horns sprouted like a bull. He resembled a deranged green bull more than the Hulk.

The creature roared and charged toward them. Both Ghost Riders were caught off guard and were sent flying.

Stark instinctively tried to fly, ready to take off, but was met with a piercing alarm in his ears.

"Gravity field alteration detected, please adjust flight data... Existing propulsion cannot operate in this gravity field."

As the alarm sounded, Miles was also pressed down. Around this minotaur-like creature seemed to exist some gravity field, its alteration rendering everyone unable to move freely.

"Some kind of magic, sir," Jarvis said, "the armor transporting the Magic Core is on its way, estimated time of arrival is 1 minute and 30 seconds."

Stark squinted; the situation seemed truly beyond expectations, no wonder Nick said that Dalio Ag had some skills, he didn't expect it to involve magic.

"What the hell is Steven doing?" Stark cursed in his mind as he quickly adjusted the armor parameters to maintain basic mobility.

Though unable to fly, he managed to sprint forward and save Miles pinned to the ground, preventing him from being bulldozed by the minotaur creature. But this big guy seemed unaffected by gravity, and just as Stark tossed Miles away, the creature's horns were less than half a meter from him.

Stark twisted his body abruptly, trying to evade critical areas. In the split second he turned, a brilliant white light flooded everyone's vision.

In the hazy glow, a figure with a long wand leaped down from a rooftop.
