BOOOOOOM!

The battlefield erupted into chaos.

On one side, the dark forces of Chaos, a writhing sea of monsters, assassins, and corrupted warriors, their numbers seemingly endless.

On the other—

The Ice Legion, led by their Empress, Maria.

The air was frigid, every breath turning into mist, the ground beneath them encased in a thick layer of glacial ice.

And then—

Maria raised her sword.

And ordered.

"Advance."

With that single command—

The war began.

Hilde, the Ice Dragon Queen, was the first to move.

Her colossal crystalline wings spread wide as she launched into the sky, her icy scales catching the fading sunlight, turning her into a living avatar of winter itself.

ROOOOOOOAAAAARRR!

A massive beam of condensed frost erupted from her jaws, sweeping across the battlefield like an unstoppable tidal wave.

Everything in its path froze instantly—monsters, Chaos assassins, even the very ground itself turned into a glittering tundra.

A Warlock tried to counter with a spell—

But before he could even finish chanting—

SLASH!

A translucent Ice Serpent lunged out of the frozen mist, its massive fangs piercing the warlock's chest.

He barely had time to scream before his body turned to ice, shattering into pieces.

Meanwhile at the front lines, hundreds of towering Ice Wolves led the charge, their bodies wreathed in ethereal frost, their eyes glowing with cold, ruthless intelligence.

They moved as one, their movements too precise, too coordinated—because they were all connected to Maria's will.

A pack of Chaos Beasts—hulking creatures with dark spikes protruding from their backs—roared and lunged.

But the Ice Wolves were faster.

They weaved through the battlefield like specters of winter, their razor-sharp claws slicing through Chaos flesh like paper.

One leaped onto a massive, ogre-like monster—

CRUNCH!

Its fangs pierced the beast's throat, freezing its blood from the inside out.

Another sprinted past a group of assassins—and where it ran, the very air froze, turning the assassins into statues of ice.

Then, CRACK!

A single howl from their leader, and the frozen enemies shattered.

Above the battlefield, the Chaos Organization had summoned their own aerial forces—winged demons, monstrous birds wreathed in shadow and flame.

But—

Maria had prepared for this.

SHRIEEEEEEK!

The Frost Phoenixes streaked across the sky, their shimmering icy wings leaving behind trails of frost as they cut through the battlefield.

Two massive shadow wyverns lunged toward them, their clawed wings spreading wide.

One of the Phoenixes twisted mid-air, dodging a blast of corrupt flame, before retaliating with a wave of glacial wind.

WHOOSH!

The wyverns froze solid mid-flight—their bodies cracked, then shattered as they plummeted to the ground.

A group of Chaos archers tried to take down the Phoenixes from below—

BAD IDEA.

A Phoenix dove at insane speed, its entire body wreathed in an icy tornado.

The moment it reached the Chaos soldiers—

BOOOOM!

The tornado erupted, unleashing a devastating hailstorm that crushed them into the ground.

Maria the commander stood at the heart of the battlefield, her long white hair whipping in the wind, her ice-blue eyes emotionless, calculating.

She did not simply fight.

She controlled the battlefield.

Her divine sense spread over the war, guiding her legion like a maestro conducting a symphony of destruction.

With a mere thought—

A massive Ice Golem stomped forward, swinging its monstrous crystalline fist, sending a Chaos Titan crashing through several buildings.

With a simple flick of her wrist—

A barrage of ice lances shot from the sky, piercing through enemy formations like divine judgment.

And when a Chaos General finally reached her, his massive cursed blade swinging down at her—

She didn't move.

Instead—

SLASH!

Before his blade could even touch her—his body was already cut in half, frozen from the inside out.

Maria exhaled.

"Pathetic."

Knowing that things couldn't continue as they were he decided to step forward.

BOOOOOOOM!

The battlefield shook violently as Mephisto, in his full Chaotic Dragon form, descended.

His massive, scaled body crushed everything beneath him, his corrupt aura suffocating even his own allies.

"ENOUGH OF THIS."

His massive wings spread wide, and with a single flap, he sent a shockwave of pure corruption tearing through the battlefield.

Several of Maria's monsters howled in pain, their bodies corroding instantly.

Even some of her strongest Ice Golems began cracking.

Mephisto grinned savagely.

"What now, Ice Empress?"

But—

Maria didn't even blink.

She raised a single hand.

And then—

CRACK!

The very sky split open.

A horrifying chill spread across the battlefield, colder than anything before.

The Chaos soldiers froze in place, their bodies trembling from an instinctive, primal fear.

Maria whispered.

"Frost Domain: Absolute Zero."

WHOOSH!

The world turned white.

An unstoppable blizzard erupted around her, consuming everything in sight.

Mephisto roared, trying to resist—

But his wings froze instantly.

His once-indestructible scales cracked.

His monstrous eyes widened in shock.

And for the first time—

The Apostle of Chaos felt fear.

Maria took a step forward.

Mephisto snarled, raising his massive claws—

But he was too slow.

Maria vanished.

And reappeared behind him.

Her white sword gleamed.

"Checkmate."

SLASH!

A single clean cut.

And then—

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Mephisto roared in agony as his entire body was sliced in half, a frozen line forming along his torso.

For a brief moment—

Everything was silent.

Then—

CRACK.

Mephisto's entire body shattered into countless pieces of ice, scattering across the battlefield.

The Chaos army froze in place.

Their leader was gone.

Maria exhaled softly, lowering her blade.

She turned toward the remaining enemies.

And with cold, merciless eyes—

She spoke one final command.

"Erase them."

And her legion obeyed.

The battle was over.

What had once been a proud battlefield filled with chaos and destruction was now nothing more than a frozen wasteland.

The remaining Chaos forces trembled, their bodies frozen from the inside, their morale completely shattered.

They tried to run.

But Maria's Ice Legion did not allow it.

The Ice Wolves hunted them down like prey, their fangs glistening with frozen blood.

The Frost Phoenixes rained icy fire from above, ensuring not a single enemy escaped.

The Golems, though cracked and battered, delivered final, earth-shattering blows to any remaining titans.

And then—

Silence.

The battle was truly over.

The once mighty army of Chaos, which had stormed Freya Academy with overwhelming confidence, was gone—either shattered into frozen remains or buried beneath mountains of ice.

Maria stood amidst the ruins, her ice-blue eyes surveying the battlefield.

Even though the academy had won, the cost was high.

Many of her Ice Legion warriors had fallen.

Some of her Ice Wolves lay motionless on the battlefield, their once-majestic forms now lifeless ice sculptures.

Several Golems had crumbled under the relentless assault, their broken forms littering the academy grounds.

Even Hilde, her Ice Dragon Queen, bore deep wounds, her crystalline scales cracked, her breathing heavy.

Maria stepped forward and gently placed her hand on Hilde's massive head.

"You did well."

Hilde rumbled in response, lowering her head in respect before slowly disappearing back into the Ice Realm—as did many of Maria's surviving summons.

One by one, the remaining warriors of the Ice Legion bowed before Maria before vanishing into their realm.

The battle was over.

It was time to rest.

As the Ice Legion faded, Maria turned her attention to the academy.

Though not many had died, the battle had left countless wounded.

Students sat on the frozen ground, their bodies trembling from exhaustion, their wounds being tended to by the academy's healers.

The once pristine courtyard was ruined, parts of the academy's buildings had collapsed, and scorch marks from Chaos energy scarred the battlefield.

Despite everything—

They had won.

A professor, his robes torn, approached Maria and bowed deeply.

"You… saved us," he said, his voice filled with gratitude. "Freya Academy will never forget this."

Maria simply exhaled, sheathing her sword.

"This was only the beginning," she said, her gaze shifting toward the now-closed rift in the sky.

The Chaos Organization had been dealt a light blow—

But Maria knew they would return soon enough.

And next time—

She would be ready.

Time to go back and prepare for the next wave from the enemy.
