He made sure to loot the items at blinding speed before anyone else could even lay their hands on them.

Alexei froze after recognizing him.

Alexei was dumbfounded after seeing that Siegfried was with them in the Eastern Great Rift dungeon. He couldn't have imagined, even in his wildest dreams, that Siegfried would chase him into a dungeon.

Alexei could not believe what was happening right in front of his eyes, but he had no choice but to accept it. He had to accept the fact that Siegfried had somehow managed to infiltrate the guild and stab him in the back.

“H-Hey, Han Tae-Sung! What the hell are you doing, you fucking bastard?!” Alexei screamed.

Siegfried tilted his head lazily while sitting on a folding camping chair as if he were enjoying an outdoor performance.

“Huh? What did I do?”

“Y-You need to help me! Damn it!”

“Eh? Why should I help you?”

“We have to kill this monster first, then settle things between us!”

“Hehe...” Siegfried grinned at the pitiful excuse.

Then, he decided to help Alexei just as he asked.

How?

By cheering Alexei on from the sidelines, providing moral support to the latter.

“Fight! Fight! You can do it!”

“You crazy son of a bitch!”

“I don’t mind who wins! I’m bandwagoning with the winner!”

“You sick son of a whooore!” Alexei screamed in anger.

However, that was the extent of attention he could give to Siegfried, as the Slaughterer Crocogator demanded his full attention.

Alexei staggered toward the boss monster on the ground. He no longer had any strength left, not even enough strength to lift a spoon. Despite that, he forced himself forward to finish off the boss monster before it could recover.

The Slaughterer Crocogator was on the verge of death after the intense battle against Alexei. It was still alive, but it was definitely hanging by a thread.

Alexei squeezed every ounce of strength left within him to grip his weapon, the +17 Frozen Rapier, and deliver the final blow.
