And I pushed the table away.

There's a fucking mouth on the surface of that fucking thing.

"Hey, Ethan." That mouth the size of a human head spoke. "How are you feeling today?"

I approached the table again with a frown. Is this a hallucination? But why do I feel this is so real?

Am I having an effect from the giganpoppy? If that's true, then I should be prepared. I must think of a way out of this madness and get that plant extract.

"Hey, Ethan. How are you feeling today?" The table spoke again, and I just realized that thing's voice was identical to mine. "Hey, Ethan. How are you feeling today?"

Then, I heard a trumpet blowing behind me. As soon as I turned my body, I found a man walking with wide steps.

He keeps blowing his trumpet, and I'm somewhat familiar with his appearance. Apart from wearing the red and black jersey of my favorite club, his facial and body parts are a combination of those of various soccer players I adore.

An overwhelming urge to follow that man arose within me. I couldn't fight it, and I ended up walking behind him.

His jersey number is nineteen, but his name is not written.

"Excuse me." I tapped that guy on the shoulder. "Where are we going?"

He stopped walking, turned his body to face me, then let go of his trumpet.

However, the instrument remained stuck to his mouth, then rotated, and the sound produced was different, this time like some applause.

I can only freeze at the absurdity. What the fuck is the meaning of all this?

The man wore an expression full of disappointment, then continued on his way.

And I just noticed that our location has changed. As far as my eyes could see, I saw a stretch of asphalt. It was like a large parking lot but with random white lines. Then, when I looked up, I found a group of choirs floating in the air with their heads down. ƒ𝚛𝐞𝚎𝑤𝘦𝚋𝓷o𝚟e𝘭.c𝐨𝙢

They sang the official theme of one of the most prestigious soccer competitions on earth.

Realizing that the trumpeter was getting further away, I hurriedly caught up with him. We approached a large stadium that I also recognized.

It is the home of my favorite soccer club. What was different from what I remembered were the large carvings of the heads of various new and old players on the exterior walls.

All the faces stuck out their mouths like ducks.

We then entered the stadium gate, through a long corridor, before finally entering the field.

The roar of the audience startled me. They wore the same jersey as the trumpeter and looked so excited.

What distinguished them from my world's soccer audience was that some jumped and performed acrobatics in the air.

Humans shouldn't be able to jump more than ten feet like them.

"Now is your time, champ." A man in a suit suddenly appeared next to me and tapped me on the shoulder. I know him too. He is the coach of this club. "Go!!!"

That man pushed me onto the field, and suddenly I was wearing that team's jersey.

"Ethan!!!" A player passed the ball to me.

The ball also had a mouth and greeted, "Hey, Ethan. How are you feeling today?"

I then looked ahead and found the players wearing white jerseys running toward me. Without thinking twice, I dribbled the ball past the opposing players with beautiful moves I could only see on television before.

A smile then grew in my mouth. It's been a long time since I felt like this.

As soon as I was in front of the goal, I kicked the ball as hard as possible.

The crowd roared when the goalkeeper couldn't catch that spherical object.

I spread my arms to celebrate my goal. Then, I found someone in the same jersey as me running to where I was standing. She looked thrilled to see me.

Her long red hair fluttered, and her condition was much better than I last remembered.

I widened my eyes. "Phisovia?"

She jumped up and hugged me, then we fell on something soft.

The scenery I saw changed again. I was in a modern room this time, sitting on a big sofa facing a giant television.

That thing shows a replay of my spectacular goal.

"Hey, my love." Phisovia, sitting next to me, called me out in a cheerful tone. Now she's wearing a yellow tank top and hot pants, modeled after the clothes from my original world. "I have a surprise."

Suddenly her stomach grew rapidly. I jumped out of shock.

"It's too big! It's too big!!!" The woman screamed in pain.

"W-what happened!?" I'm panicking and confused.

Fortunately, her stomach deflated quickly. However, it did not reduce completely. Her belly was still huge, but only the size of someone who had been pregnant for months.

"You won't listen to him?" Phisovia widened her smile as if that incident had never happened.

Despite my doubts, I put my ear against her stomach.

"Hey, dad! How are you feeling today!?"

I immediately pulled my head when I heard that. What kind of baby can talk while still in the womb?

"How do you feel now, my love?" Phisovia rubbed my face. The warmth and tenderness from her are still the same as the last time I felt it. "You have many achievements and soon will be a father."

As if directed by some invisible force, I turned my head to one side of the room and found a large glass cabinet. That thing displayed various accomplishments, from replicas of championship trophies I won with the club to individual award medals.

After that, I watched the television again. I saw myself there, wearing a nice suit and accepting the world's best player award.

One tear fell from my eye. Nothing else feels strange in the show. Is this my new reality that is starting to settle?

Soon, all of this will be real?

Me? The best player in the world? Phisovia will be the mother of my child?

"You are the most extraordinary human being, my love." Phisovia sighed in my ear. "I will always be with you forever."

And I stabbed his chest with my hand.
