Kelvin exclaimed, "Oh no, it is about to escape." Stay updated with novelbuddy

Wrath said to him, "Calm down. It is not what you think."

He turned to ask, "Is that not a true god?"

She said, "Well, yes, it is. But it is not here for you."

During the time he was questioning Wrath, the true god finally escaped its bounds. Space shattered like a mirror to reveal a deep darkness.

From within the darkness, a pair of eyes was staring back at them. The eyes were bright, and their gaze was piercing. The abyss was literally looking back at them.

Many people fainted again. Even the veterans and the soldiers of the second division. As for Kelvin, he fell to his knees and vomited.

Things were that bad. He could feel those eyes examining his body and his mind. It was an irritating sensation in his skull.

He heard a loud voice boom in his skull. "What do we have here? A paragon, is it?"

It was speaking in a language that he was not familiar with. But he still understood what it said because the meaning wormed its way into his mind. This happened easily because his mind had been pried open.

Kelvin couldn’t answer the question. He fell to the ground as his eyes began to roll in his head. The presence of another entity, especially one so powerful in his mind, was too much for him to bear.

Actually, if not for the fact that the true god was being gentle and was taking great care not to crack his mind, he would have died immediately.

The god didn’t seem to notice his pain. It said with amusement, "Oh! Interesting. A paragon with two abilities. One of them has even acquired a lot more abilities."

Then it chuckled, "You have been up to a lot of trouble. Very interesting."

He could feel it. The god was going through his memories. It was sifting through it like he was a book. And there was nothing he could do to stop it.

He could only writhe in pain and clutch his head when the god laughed in his mind. "How innovative. You killed with a gun even though the enemy is supposed to be immune to bullets. Hilarious."

The strange alien words drilled into his mind while the god combed through his memory. He wished he was dead. He truly wished so.

He wanted to give up on life and commit suicide then and there. But the god had such a grip on his mind that he couldn’t think of anything apart from pain.

Wrath was shouting beside him, but he didn’t hear it. The god heard what she was saying, but he didn’t listen to her. He ignored her and didn’t stop going through his mind. Wrath’s shouts about the process hurting Kelvin’s mind didn’t faze the god at all.

She had no right to command him. Besides, he wasn’t blind. He could see that Kelvin was in pain. Her stating the obvious wouldn’t change its mind.

The god finally finished with his mind. It felt like forever, but the mental violation didn’t go on for up to five seconds.

The god left his mind when it was done. Kelvin’s whole body relaxed because of it. But it began to tense up again when the god continued to struggle to come out of the abyss that it had created in space.

The crack in space expanded and became bigger as the god roared. It sounded like a wild beast trapped in a cage. Its voice sounded like the roar of a lion at first. But then it turned into that of a dog. Next it turned into the roar of a bear.

The sounds were constantly changing, but the anger and indignation in the roar were constant. The god was also constantly cursing. His strange language battered their minds as it worked to understand what the god had said.

They had no choice in the matter. The god had spoken, so they must hear what it said, and they must understand it. However, the repercussions of translating the voice of the anger of a god will be borne by them.

"This is too much. It is a hassle. I don’t want to do this every time I have to enter the military realm."

The god roared over and over while space groaned and shattered and created ear-piercing sounds that cut through their physical hearing and mental processing of sounds.

Everyone was in pain. Well, except the demigods. They stood unbothered by the turn of events. Meanwhile, everyone was at least on their knees, clutching their heads in pain and wishing they were deaf.

Eventually, the god came out of the abyss, and the dreadful sounds ceased. By that time, the abyss had expanded to fill up the size of the whole abyss. It hung over their heads like a roaring beast.

Then the god dropped to the ground. Its descent was slow. It looked as light as a feather as it fell through the air. Its slow speed ensured that everyone could get a good look at it.

Very few people could see what it looked like except that it was small. It was far smaller than the giant humans beside it. The only thing they could see clearly were the shining orbs of fire that served as its eyes.

In fact, the god was smaller than the average human. It was probably four feet tall. They couldn’t understand why something so small would need a space so large to pass through.

So many people were confused as they looked at the large abyss and the small entity that struggled to come through it. Then these people fell to the ground as the god touched down.

The whole spacecraft actually groaned when the god’s feet touched the ground. Then the god began to walk around.

Each step it took on the metal floor caused a resounding boom. People actually stumbled due to the vibrations caused by the casual steps it took.
