Perseus froze mid-motion, his usually smug demeanor replaced by a furrowed brow of doubt. Even Tomato, who rarely took anything seriously, raised an eyebrow, her expression uncharacteristically solemn.

The weight of Allison’s words hung heavy in the room, the silence was deafening until Commander Marian shattered it.

"Blasphemy!" Marian’s voice echoed, sharp and furious. She stepped forward, her piercing gaze locking on Allison. "You dare utter such lies against our Alpha? Victor has been nothing but the backbone of this pack, the foundation of this city! Your desperation is pathetic, Allison. You’re trying to transfer blame for your own betrayal to him!"

Several werewolves murmured in agreement, nodding at Marian’s fiery declaration. The commander pressed on, her voice brimming with righteous anger. "There’s no way an anointed lord of the Lenny family could be a traitor. Your accusations are baseless and reek of envy and deceit!"

But Allison wasn’t backing down. Her eyes, blazing with determination and tears of frustration, darted around the room. She stepped forward, raising her voice to meet Marian’s.

"I’m not lying!" she screamed, her voice cracking with raw emotion. "I can’t be. You are just mad at me because I left you."

*SLAP*

Marian gave Allison a hard slap on the face that made her stagger a bit.

Enel wanted to intervene, but Allison raised a hand to stop him, as she wiped the blood that leaked from her lips.

Allison stepped forward and grabbed commander Marian by the shoulders.

Even though Commander Marian had been the one that gave the slap, she had panic in her eyes, darting side to side as she attempted to apologise.

Surprisingly, her eyes showed regret at her actions.

Allison did not fault her. Instead she stepped forward, "Mai," Calling her by a more intimate nickname.

It was obviousto everyone that watched, these two had history between them.

"Mai... you know. I love my great grandfatherthe most. No one... absolutely no one was more loyal to him than me... you knew the kind of sacrifices i made for him... for the pack. And how close I was yo him, So tell me, if he is unloyal to the pack, who do you think will be the first person to know."

There was a brief silence, and then Victor chuckled lightly. "Enough of this Allison..." His voice was commanding.

But Allison suddenly pointed at Victor.

"If I’m lying, then let Victor prove it! Let him show us his Lenny family mark!"

The room fell silent again, save for the crackle of the fire in the corner. All eyes turned to Victor, who stood motionless, his expression unreadable. A murmur rippled through the gathered pack members, uncertainty creeping into their faces.

Victor did nothing... and Allison pointed at him as she stepped towards the platform, her eyes looking right in his without breaking their gaze.

"Show them... let them see. Let them know why it was so easy for devils and demons to infiltrate the pack. Let them know that the corruption is from the crown."

For a while, there was no response whatsoever, and the murmurs amongst the commanders increased.

"Why isn’t he responding?" someone whispered.

"Could it be true?" another muttered, their voice tinged with fear.

"It can’t be..." another added.

Victor’s deep amber gaze shifted, sweeping across the room and then it came back, landing on Allison.

For a moment, the Alpha said nothing, his silence far more intimidating than any roar. His presence seemed to swell, his aura pressing down on everyone like a heavy weight.

Perseus crossed his arms, his gaze flicking between Victor and Allison, his jaw tightening.

He thought to ease the mood one more time. "Allison," he began cautiously, "do you understand the implications of what you’re saying?"

Allison nodded vehemently, her voice firm despite the tears streaming down her cheeks. "I do. But if he has nothing to hide, then he should show us!"

Commander Kael snarled, stepping closer to Allison, his claws extending slightly. "You’ll regret this insolence--"

"Enough." Victor’s deep voice cut through the tension like a blade, silencing Kael and freezing the room in place. His tone was calm, but there was an unmistakable edge that made even the bravest of the werewolves hesitate.

Victor’s gaze locked onto Allison, a flicker of something—anger? regret?—passing through his eyes. "You tread dangerous ground, Allison. Be very certain of the truth before you challenge me further."

The room held its collective breath, waiting for what would happen next.

Victor’s eyes held a piercing intensity as he began to slowly unravel his sleeves, first one, then the other. His movements were deliberate, each fold of fabric sliding down his muscular arms with precision, as if he were shedding layers of his authority to reveal something far deeper. The room grew unnervingly quiet, the air thick with anticipation.

With deliberate slowness, Victor removed his armor, the heavy metal clanging softly as it hit the floor. Then, with a measured breath, he pulled off his shirt, casting it aside. His upper body was a canvas of brutal history, scarred and weathered from centuries of battle. Thick lines of healed tissue crisscrossed his chest and shoulders, each one a testament to trials and wars long past.

But what commanded everyone’s attention was the unmistakable mark emblazoned boldly on his shoulder: the symbol of the Lenny royal family.

A collective hush swept through the room. All eyes fell on the mark, some wide with seriousness others narrowing in suspicion.

For several long seconds, confusion played across Allison’s face, her lips parting slightly as if to speak, but no words came.

Perseus broke the silence with a sigh, his voice heavy with both resignation and reproach. "Well, it seems you’ve made a grave error, Allison. Perhaps you’re not as perceptive as you believe."

The other commanders quickly joined in, their voces dripping with accusation.

"She’s a liar," one sneered.

"A disgrace to the pack," growled another.

"Betrayal runs in her blood," muttered a third.

Victor raised a hand, and the room immediately fell silent again. His gaze softened slightly as he looked at Allison, though his voice carried a weary sadness. "All I ever wanted was for you to take after me, to rule as Alpha. You were always the best of us, Allison. But now…" He shook his head, his disappointment palpable. "Now you’ve brought nothing but shame to this family. And as your great-grandfather, it is my duty to uphold the laws of the pack."

He raised his hand again, this time in a commanding gesture. "Take her away," he ordered, his tone colder now. "She will be sentenced to death by Fanging."

Two commanders stepped forward, their faces set with grim determination. Allison stood frozen, her expression a mix of shock and despair as they reached for her arms.

But before they could touch her, a loud voice rang out, cutting through the tension like a blade.

"Wait!"

Every head turned to see Enel stepping forward, his steps casual but brimming with a cocky confidence. He held his hands behind his back, a smirk playing at his lips. His eyes locked with Victor’s, challenging and unyielding.

"So close," Enel drawled, his voice dripping with mockery. "If I wasn’t here, you might have actually gotten away with it, BOY... I am really disappointed."

Victor’s eyes narrowed, but before he could respond, Enel lifted a hand and muttered something under his breath. The words rolled out in the melodic cadence of Enochian, the ancient language of angels. His voice carried a strange, otherworldly harmony, each syllable reverberating through the room like the ringing of distant bells.

The air around him seemed to shimmer as the words left his lips, the tension in the room mounting to an almost unbearable peak. Victor’s expression shifted slightly, confusion mingling with a flicker of unease.

Allison’s eyes widened as she turned to look at Enel, hope creeping into her face for the first time. The commanders exchanged glances and then it happened...
