Devil Slave (Satan system)-Chapter 1235: The City In Trouble 2
Perseus ascended into the ash-filled sky, his green lightning crackling violently around him like a tempest.
With a wave of his arms, the electricity surged outward, forming a massive protective dome over the city. The translucent barrier hummed with energy, glowing faintly as debris from the volcano smashed against it, disintegrating upon impact. The citizens below stared upward, a brief glimmer of hope flickering amidst their despair.
Perseus hovered in the air, sweat forming on his brow as he maintained the shield. His voice boomed across the chaos, steady and commanding. "Guards, form squads and evacuate the eastern quadrant first! Prioritize mothers and children! Move now!"
The guards, shaken but galvanized by his orders, sprang into action, organizing evacuation efforts amid the destruction.
Above the chaos, Perseus muttered under his breath, his voice heavy with disdain. "Victor, you are a fool."
Despite the Herculean effort, the fallen angels hovering in the sky remained indifferent, their eyes glowing faintly as they watched.
They made no move to attack Perseus, a fact that unsettled him deeply. He narrowed his eyes at their apathetic stance, his instincts screaming that something wasn’t right.

The lava pouring from the volcano continued to test his shield. While much of it flowed harmlessly over the top, unable to penetrate, the sheer force of it was relentless. Perseus gritted his teeth, the strain beginning to show in the twitch of his fingers, but he refused to falter. The people needed him.
Meanwhile, Tomato dashed toward the volcano with inhuman speed, her body low to the ground, her hands clawing into the ash-laden earth like a feral beast. Her crimson skin shimmered in the molten glow of the lava surrounding her, but she moved through it like it was nothing more than annoying sludge.
"Ugh, this is going to ruin my boots," she grumbled, leaping over a particularly large pool of magma.
Up ahead, several fallen angels noticed her approach. Their glowing weapons flared as they descended, wings slicing through the air like blades.
Tomato grinned, her eyes narrowing with amusement. "Oh, you want a piece of me? Let’s see if you can even keep up!"
As the first angel swung its weapon—a burning lance aimed straight at her—she twisted her body mid-air with unnatural precision, dodging the attack effortlessly. "Too slow!" she barked, her tail snapping forward like a whip. It struck the angel square in the face, the force so devastating that its skull shattered into pulp.
Tomato was the existing bane to these creatures. Even their protective shield was nothing against her ability to be able to null magic of all kinds.
The second angel lunged at her from above, but Tomato spun mid-dash, planting her hands on the ground and using her legs to kick upward. "Nice try, feather-face!" Her heel connected with the angel’s stomach, sending it hurtling into the molten lava below with a sizzle.
Without missing a beat, she continued forward, her pace unrelenting. "Amateurs," she muttered, rolling her eyes.
As she neared the volcano, the heat would have became unbearable for anyone else, but for Tomato, it was an afterthought. Her sharp eyes locked onto the massive, towering form of Vandora, the Hell Beast, battling furiously against the horde of fallen angels.
The beast was gargantuan, her obsidian scales glinting with molten veins as lava cascaded down her body. Her claws raked through the air, swatting angels out of the sky like flies, but their numbers were overwhelming. She roared, the sound shaking the earth, but even her immense strength seemed to be faltering under the onslaught.
"Looks like you’re having a bad day, big girl," Tomato muttered, a cocky grin creeping across her face. "Don’t worry. Auntie Tomato’s here to save your scaly butt."
Without hesitation, she surged forward, leaping over a pool of lava and diving straight into the fray, her tail snapping in anticipation.
Tomato’s speed was nothing short of breathtaking. She darted across the molten landscape like a crimson blur, her movements so swift and precise it seemed as if gravity itself had surrendered to her will.
Fallen angels turned their glowing eyes toward her, their expressions flickering between confusion and alarm as she closed the distance between them in the blink of an eye.
"Out of my way, glowsticks!" she shouted, her voice dripping with disdain as she leapt into the air with an effortless grace.
A group of fallen angels blocked her path, weapons raised and glowing with divine power. Tomato smirked, landing right in front of them, her arms spread wide in mock surrender. "Oh no, I’m surrounded. Whatever will I do?" she sneered, her voice oozing with mockery.
Before the angels could strike, she brought her hands together with a thunderous clap, the sound reverberating through the air like a violent explosion.
But this was no ordinary clap—it carried the force of her nullifying power, disrupting the magical energy surrounding the angels and creating a massive sonic boom.
The effects were immediate and devastating. The angels closest to her were blasted backward, their glowing weapons flickering out as their forms disintegrated into nothingness. The shockwave rippled outward, tearing through the ranks of fallen angels like a tidal wave, forcing them to break formation. The immense pressure they had been exerting on Vandora vanished in an instant.
"Boom, baby!" Tomato laughed, flipping her hair dramatically as she admired her handiwork. "Looks like you guys forgot the first rule of fighting me: don’t."
She shot forward again, this time leaping onto Vandora’s massive, molten-scaled back with a cat-like agility. Landing with a solid thud, she crouched and patted the Hell Beast’s obsidian scales affectionately, ignoring the heat that would have incinerated anyone else.
"Nice scales, big girl," Tomato teased, her voice light but filled with an undeniable warmth. "Don’t worry, I’ve got your back. Literally."
Vandora’s towering form shifted slightly as she turned one of her massive glowing eyes toward Tomato. Her voice, soft and melodic despite her intimidating size, rumbled like distant thunder.
"Thank you, Tomato. But there are more of them… many more. I can feel them just beyond this plane. They are of far greater power than these."
Tomato grinned, baring her sharp teeth as her crimson tail flicked behind her. "Let them come," she said with an air of defiance. "Even if it’s the entire heavens crashing down, we’re not going anywhere. You hear me? You’re stuck with me, Vandora."
Vandora chuckled softly, a sound that echoed through the fiery battlefield. "Your confidence never ceases to amaze me, little devil."
Tomato sat cross-legged on Vandora’s back for a moment, her cocky grin softening into something more mischievous. "Oh, you haven’t seen anything yet, big girl. I’ve got a little surprise for you after this mess is cleaned up. Trust me, you’ll love it."
Vandora’s massive body trembled slightly with curiosity, but she remained focused on the enemies ahead. "A surprise? Now I’m intrigued. But let’s deal with the present first, shall we?"
"Agreed," Tomato said, standing up and cracking her knuckles. She pointed at the remaining angels still recovering from her sonic boom. "All right, featherbrains, who’s next? Come on, don’t be shy—I promise I’ll make it quick!"
Her cocky laughter rang through the battlefield as she prepared to dive back into the fray, her pride and defiance burning as brightly as the magma surrounding them.
But it was at such a time that it happened... Even Vandora screamed in the shock of it....
