Devil Slave (Satan system)-Chapter 1241: Athena Is Angry...
The serpent devil quivered under Athena’s fiery gaze, its forked tongue flickering nervously. It hesitated, the words caught in its throat as though speaking them might invite punishment. Athena leaned forward on her throne, her fiery eyes narrowing as a single eyebrow arched, signaling her annoyance.
"Speak," she commanded, her voice cutting through the silence like a blade. "I tire of your stalling."
The devil trembled even more, pressing its head against the bloodied floor in submission. "F-Forgive me, Regent Athena," it stammered. "There is… more to the report."
Athena tilted her head, her fiery hair flickering with the motion, a dangerous curiosity flashing in her burning eyes. "Then speak quickly, before I decide your silence was the wiser choice."
The serpent swallowed audibly, its tail curling in fear. "According to the reports… the werewolves were able to locate and eliminate our spies, and even the spies of the fallen angels, because of one individual. A boy. He came from the high elf lands."
Athena’s brow rose higher, her interest piqued. "A boy?" she repeated, her tone skeptical yet intrigued. "A high elf, you say? What is his connection to this mess?"
The serpent devil shifted uncomfortably, its claws scratching the blood-slick floor. "Not exactly, Regent. It appears this boy is not a pure high elf but… a hybrid. A werewolf hybrid."
The room grew eerily quiet as the words settled. Athena leaned back into her throne, her fiery eyes glowing brighter. "A werewolf hybrid," she mused aloud, her voice laced with intrigue. "And what of his deeds? Surely you wouldn’t bring him up if he weren’t worth my attention."
The serpent nodded hastily, its forked tongue flickering as it spoke. "Yes, Regent. According to the reports, this boy managed to capture a fallen angel—a feat thought impossible. He tortured it for information and succeeded in breaking it."
For a moment, even Athena seemed taken aback, her fiery eyes flickering slightly in surprise. "He broke a fallen angel?" she repeated, her voice softer but no less commanding.
Capturing a fallen angel was not an easy feat, but to toture information from one was even more impossible.
Even the Devils had not mannaged such a thing, and they had indeed tried.
Her lips curled upward into a faint, wicked smile, a rare expression that only deepened her beauty. "How… fascinating."
Virgil, who had been silent as usual, shifted slightly, his pristine white visage tilting as though to study Athena’s reaction. "You find this intriguing," he noted in his calm, monotone voice.
"Indeed, I do," Athena replied, her eyes never leaving the trembling devil before her. "A boy who defies the odds and reshapes the balance of power in such a way… this reminds me of one..."
The serpent devil bowed lower, its voice trembling as it asked, "Shall I gather more information on him, Regent?"
Athena waved her hand dismissively. "No need. If he’s as bold as the reports claim, he will cross my path eventually. And when he does…" Her voice trailed off, her fiery eyes narrowing with anticipation. "We shall see if his strength matches the stories."
Although she spoke this way, in truth, Athena was slightly excited at heart.
After all, news had long gone around, a hundred years ago that the wheel of rebirth had been broken. Of which she was more than aware the source of it.
It was for that very reason that she now sat upon this throne waiting. Yes, she was waiting.
And now, she had heard of a young werewolf hybrid capable of torturing a fallen angel.
One that could perform Such impossible miracles were as rare as the phoenix themselves.
Just as Athena was about to signal for the serpent to leave, the blood-soaked silence of the throne room was shattered by the loud, triumphant screams of devils rushing in. Their guttural cheers and frenzied laughter echoed off the pulsating walls as a throng of them burst through the arched entrance.
Athena’s fiery eyes shifted to the intruders, her expression darkening slightly as she sat upright.
She observed them for a bit thinking whether to interrupt their celebration or not.

And then she heard Virgil’s voice on her head, "stop them... its disrespectful."
Immediately, she rose from her seat.
"What is the meaning of this disruption?" she demanded, her voice echoing across the hall with an authority that silenced the celebrating devils mid-step.
The one in front, stepped forward. He was more human like than the others, save for his three inverted eyes and red skin, carrying the face of one she had once called her lover.
It was none other than Moranda.
He had two succubus of devil origin about him, one in each hand, and alcohol that was obviously made, extracted from the blood soul of those damned to this forsaken world.
It is said that this alcohol is like lava on the tongue, but it is by far the best thing that ever happened to cupbearers of the Throne.
"My lord Regeant..." He began, "we are celebrating. After all, we have taken down a primary plane of the demon royal families." He staggard a little to the left and right, the succubus devils trying their best to hold him up. "...We have taken the primary plane of Gluttony. Of course their Title still remains on its core, but once that is washed away, The Devils... us, the Royal family of pride will finally have a primary plane to our name."
As he spoke, the smell of alcohol permeated through the throne room.
And the other cup bearers that had come with him cheered loudly.
Athena frowned, "Not... in this throne room. Not in the throne room of the Hell mother..."
Even as she spoke, her anger flared as she could see in his eyes that he did not take her seriously, still enjoying the Alcohol in his hand.
And the other cup bearers chuckled, but lowas if trying to hide it, but not.
Athena frowned at this, and instantly she...
