Diligence System: From Servant to Martial King-Chapter 360 - 277: Submit to Fate, Don the Tainted Robe, Li Xian’s Uniqueness Will Shine (Part 4)
Nangong Liuli’s feet touched the ground, and she swiftly turned to strike. The four women had anticipated this move. Two of them grabbed her wrists, twisting them behind her back, while the other two each performed the "Soft Breeze Finger," striking her left and right side ribs.
Nangong Liuli’s eyes flipped back, nearly fainting. She had no power left to resist, her legs remained weak, completely at the mercy of the four women.
The leader said, "This woman is too unruly. We’ve seen her tied up for almost a month. We thought of giving her some relief. Hmph, she just insists on resisting. Fine, sisters, no need to be polite with her."
Nangong Liuli stubbornly said, "Use whatever tricks you have. Do you think I, Nangong Liuli, will be scared?" In her heart, she was actually terrified. She clearly felt that though the four women had high martial arts skills, they were far below her own.
Yet, the four women’s martial arts techniques specifically targeted women, and their cooperation was seamless, giving them a significant advantage.
Nangong Liuli was taken to the bedroom. Provoked by her repeated defiance, the four women became irritated. They produced flower ropes several yards long, binding Nangong Liuli’s hands securely.
Nangong Liuli felt extremely peculiar. She was naturally angry, but inexplicably accustomed to it. The leader said, "This vile girl’s martial skills aren’t bad. Be serious now. Pin her joints and seal her acupuncture points tightly."
Nangong Liuli cried out, resisting with all her might, only to provoke the four women’s annoyance further. They used all their strength at key points, forcefully pulling the ropes. One woman said, "Vile girl, you are eating bitterness for your stubbornness against us. You’ll realize our strength slowly, but hey, when you beg then, no one will listen to you."
The other woman said, "What’s the use of talking so much to her? She won’t remember anyway. Besides... she’s a big prize; she should be tended to carefully."
Her hands and feet were tightly bound with flower ropes.
The four women left, closing the door behind them. Nangong Liuli sobbed alone, feeling utterly helpless. Slightly regretting her stubbornness earlier, if she had shown a bit of weakness, she might be more relaxed now.
Sighing vaguely, she stopped struggling, lying down on the bed, enduring the passage of time, waiting for judgment.
Come midnight, pink smoke seeped through the cracks in the room. It had a faint, pleasant fragrance, assisting in peaceful sleep. She was uncomfortable from being bound, mentally weary and physically exhausted, unable to fall asleep. Smelling the sweet fragrance, her mind became serene, and she grew drowsy.
Unknowingly, she fell asleep.
Waking the next day, her brows furrowed, sensing something was amiss: "Was yesterday’s sleep fragrance merely for sleep aid? Could Flower Cage Sect be so kind-hearted?" Captured and bound by the four women, she found it truly hard to move.
The room was extremely quiet. Feeling somewhat bored, she shifted her body, observing the room’s layout. Bookshelves, vanity table...
She noticed several sandalwood boxes placed on the vanity table. She thought to herself, "Could these be treasure artifacts? What is their purpose, why are they placed here? Let’s see if they can aid me in escaping."
She focused her eyes, observing closely. Amid her struggles, she moved to the vanity table, where her reflected form was seen in the mirror. Nangong Liuli’s face flushed as she tried to open the sandalwood boxes.
The items inside were quite strange. Named Glazed Divine Pestle, Supreme Jade Treasure Awl... the names were intimidating, and the materials were out of the ordinary. Yet, looking at them, Nangong Liuli felt uneasy, sensing these items lacked the ferocity of weapons, seemingly challenging to utilize in martial arts encounters. Nangong Liuli thought, "Utterly peculiar, everything about this Flower Cage Sect is utterly peculiar."
Restless and annoyed, she paced in circles. Unable to find a breakthrough, dejected, she lay on the bed to rest quietly.
The bedroom was rather elegantly decorated, much better than the prison cell beneath the ship. Nangong Liuli shook her head, gazing at the ceiling decorations, finding them utterly boring.
Thus passed another day, as midnight’s red smoke arrived. Nangong Liuli held her breath firmly, not inhaling even a bit.
But the red smoke permeated the room. She held out for several moments, eventually needing to breathe, hence inhaling the red smoke, and gradually fell into a slumber.
For several days afterward, she felt extremely bored. Trapped in one room, restrained everywhere, her temper grew increasingly irritable, with a ball of anger accumulating in her belly, eager to smash anything she saw.
Her mind was increasingly flooded with irrelevant thoughts.
