Chapter 74: Delegation (Partial R-18)

Eric woke up to a slurping sound. He stirred and looked up in confusion. Then, he looked down. Mia smirked up at him while she had his cock in her mouth. "Fuck yes." He groaned as she massaged his balls, cupping them while she licked his shaft.

"Mm. I love the faces you make when being woken up like this." She said seductively while finishing the job. He grabbed her ears, pushing her face down as he came down her throat. "Mm. What a way to wake up." He groaned as his cock finished sputtering.

She chuckled while crawling up, her naked body pressed against his. "You go back today, right?"

He nodded. "Don’t remind me. Today is the delegation between Riemskin and Austin. It was supposed to be a few weeks ago, but protests and riots have been keeping the two sides from meeting peacefully."

She sighed before climbing under the covers. "Hold me."

Liara began crying as she woke up, and they looked at each other while laughing. "Guess it’s time to get up."

Eric took a shower while Mia fed the baby. A grumpy teenager sat at the table. She was staring at her phone while Eric walked into the room. "They have been missing you like crazy back at HQ." She said without looking up.

Eric looked at her and sighed, patting her on the head. "Well good morning to you too, sunshine." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

"Dad! Stop doing that to my hair!"

He laughed while Mia entered the room with Liara. "Good morning sweetie." She said, kissing Jessica on the forehead. "Good morning mom."

"Oh, she gets a good morning, while I get grumpy teenager? Shocker." Eric teased, finishing his bagel.

Both women looked at him. "Shut up." They said in unison.

The family shared a laugh, and Liara cooed.

Eric wished peace like this would last forever.

After kissing Liara and Mia, (an "ew" from Jessica) Eric got into his truck with Jessica. "No Liam today?" He said with a chuckle as they began the drive to HQ.

Jessica ignored him.

Along the way, Eric noticed the power lines and street signs. Roads were being built outside the main road of the town, one heading in the direction of Hoover Dam, and the other towards the capital of Riemskin. "Well that will make the trip easier." He thought.

After pulling up to the parking lot outside HQ, Jessica gave him a hug before reporting to duty with the HUMINT Section. Eric walked into the command room, sighing as he took his seat. "From diapers to paperwork." He grumbled, waiting for the rest of staff to come in.

As soldiers trickled in, congratulations were given to Eric. Some patted him on the back, while others shook his hand. Hammond took the seat next to him. "Congratulations bud." He said gruffly.

Eric nodded. "Thanks. You know, there is a bingo hall Jonny is building in town. Maybe you could join the rest of the seniors there. Might find yourself a lady friend."

"Fuck you. I ain’t that old."

Michael walked up. "Hey, some of the guys think that since she’s your kid, she’ll go infantry. What do you think?"

Eric almost reached for his pistol. "I think that she’ll grow up to kick your ass mike."

The room erupted with laughter.

The room stilled as Milano and Miher walked in. Milano looked at Eric, a slight smirk on his face before it disappeared. "Welcome back Dryer. I hope you’re ready to work."

Eric nodded. "Yes sir."

"Good. You will be handling the delegation."

Eric groaned inwardly. "Of fucking course."

"I’ll get it done."

Milano then turned to the Dragon council.

"Joint drills will proceed as planned. They’re planned for 1600 today."

Tryasche nodded. "Thank you General. Our youth are grateful for the opportunity to learn combat without mana."

A riemskin alliance Liasion spoke up.

"General Milano, we have some operational concerns we wish to address."

Milano crossed his arms, looking at the man. "Very well. Proceed."

The liaison officer gulped. "Well, we have heard of the unrest and wish for assurances that no royals will be harmed."

Milano narrowed his eyes. "We can assure you of that quite easily. The negotiations will be held here in Battalion territory."

After everything was decided, Eric stayed back while the rest of the room filtered out. Mehar and Milano stayed behind with Eric.

At 8pm, the King and his entourage appeared. Liron, Remory, Ayeolla, and Lillith all showed up together, with Eric meeting them at the front of Hood Hill. "Hello. And welcome to Hood Hill." He said while guiding them inside. A small retinue of guards followed behind as Eric lead them to the command room.

"Let me know if you need anything. I will handle it to the best of my ability."

Not too long after, the sound of squealing tires and a small convoy of vehicles pulled up. Four blacked out SUV’s arrived in front of the HQ. A man stepped out, his graying beard and black suit a sharp contrast to the teal grass and purple trees. He walked into the building, guided by four state troopers, and followed by four other legislatures.

After all parties settled in, Milano entered the room. He stood at the front of the table, while Eric stood in the middle. Armed soldiers stood on each corner of the room. Eric cleared his throat.

"Good evening, ladies and Gentlemen. My name is Master Sergeant Eric Dryer. I will be the formal mediator in these proceedings, as well as the official translator. If you must speak, please speak to me. I will translate."

The king was the first to speak. "I do not believe it is wise to grandstand here, nor posture. My terms are simple. We will supply food and access to land so long as we gain access to engineers, technology, and passports to view the city."

Eric nodded, translating so the governor could understand.

"Hm. I can agree to those terms." The Mayor spoke up. "As long as they do not interfere with the operations of the city and do not try to wrest control of it, I can lend a few engineers, electricians, and maintenance workers."

Eric translated to the king. Remory smiled and nodded at the Mayor. He was pleased to know he could finally go see the city with Ayeolla. He could see the massive structures in the city from here, wondering how tall they really were up close.

The Governor spoke up. "I propose a non-aggression act. I know you haven’t already signed one, but we have not. I need to ensure that the people of Texas as a whole will be safe when the rest of the state begins cro-"

His words were cut off as a large rumbling sound began to shake the building. The Earth rolled and rocked as each person looked around the room at each other. These disturbances were happening every day now, and people had gotten so used to them they didn’t bother to remark about it.

"As I was saying, we the people of Texas as a whole wish to sign a non aggression pact. We do not want to be hostile to our new neighbors."

Boots began clamoring down the highway, and a young soldier opened the door, entering the room. "Uh..." he looked around, seeing the various leaders staring at him. "Sorry to interrupt, but there is an emergency. A battalion motorpool just crossed over...

And they landed on a Hibresk ant pile."

The room froze.

Texas leaders looked around in confusion, while the Alliance, (and Eric) looked up at the sky. "Estimated battalion strength?" Eric grumbled. "Master Sergeant, they are currently doing perimeter defense."

"Alright. Send Charlie and Delta. Tell them to reinforce the other battalion. Try to keep equipment intact, and rescue any soldiers you can."

The young soldier ran out of the room, and the leaders of all the factions silently looked at each other.

"Hibresk ants, eh?" Milano said quietly. "God help em."

Remory cleared his throat. "Getting back to the matter at hand." He said. "I also think we need one more provision regarding the alliances."

He pointed to Milano. "For any war fighting or military functions, we will only align with 6-8."

Pens dropped, soldiers stopped taking notes, and Eric looked at Remory. "Your highness, are you sure?"

The king nodded. "We don’t know them well enough yet to form a military alliance."

Eric sighed as he translated. Milano did the same. Knowing Earth politics, what would happen next was....

The Governor of Texas stood up. "I will not sign these accords after hearing thst. You work with us, or you work for us, but you cannot take US soldier into combat willy nilly because you felt like it. I will arrange for a delegation at another time."

The Governor left, leaving Eric alone with Riemskin officials and the Generals. "That went well." Eric said as he looked out at the front of HQ.
