Disaster-Level Player Is Too Good at Broadcasting-Chapter 57: « How Stars Spice Up A Broadcast! [2] »
"I hope you’ve all had your coffee.
We’re not stopping for a lunch break."
Kang Min adjusted the settings on his broadcast interface as he stepped onto the 9th floor.
The air here didn’t smell like the damp moss of the grotto.
It smelled like old coins, polished mahogany, and that cloying, expensive incense you only find in boutiques for the ultra-rich.
This was the Gilded Labyrinth of Choice, a floor that had ended more promising careers than any boss monster ever could.
『[Viewer_33]: Floor 9! This is the graveyard for anyone who thinks they’re lucky.』
『[Slayer_Official]: It’s the ’Choice’ floor. You pick a door, find a treasure, and then realize the room is a trap that locks you in for a week.』
『[Small_Change_Goblin]: Get ready for five hours of Singularity staring at doors and overthinking. Just pick the shiny one, Edgelord.』
Kang Min didn’t even glance at the doors.
In front of him stood three ornate archways: one encrusted with rubies, one with emeralds, and one with sapphires.
According to the floor’s logic, a climber was supposed to hunt for riddles scattered across the walls to figure out which path was safe and which would sap their mana until they crawled.
"The problem with ’Choice’ floors..."
Min said, his voice flat and dismissive as he stared at the silent, opulent hall.
"...is that they assume I’m going to play along with the person who built them."
He didn’t walk toward the archways.
Instead, he turned ninety degrees and faced a solid, marble wall decorated with a mural of a king counting a mountain of gold.
『The Constellation 「The One Who Enjoys High-Speed Chases」 is tilting their head in confusion.』
『The Constellation 「The Merchant of the Crimson Moon」 is narrowing their eyes at your lack of respect for the gold.』
Kang Min clenched his left fist.
The Hands of Ruin hummed, the blue magma veins beneath the black leather glowing with a menacing, violent light.
「[Singularity: Focus]」
He picked a single point on that three-foot-thick marble wall and made it the heaviest thing in the universe.
Before the wall could even groan under its own weight, he followed through with a Ruin strike.
BOOM!
The mural of the king was destroyed.
Kang Min didn’t wait for the dust to settle.
He walked straight through the gaping hole into the next corridor, bypassing a three-mile winding path of traps and puzzles. 𝐟𝚛𝕖𝚎𝕨𝗲𝐛𝚗𝐨𝐯𝐞𝕝.𝐜𝗼𝗺
『[SYSTEM]: You have bypassed the ’Riddle of the Red King’!』
『[SYSTEM]: Warning! Structural integrity of the Gilded Labyrinth is being compromised!』
He reached the next room.
It was filled with overflowing chests of gold coins and shimmering silk tapestries.
The air felt heavy here was a psychological debuff designed to make climbers feel sluggish, encouraging them to rest among the "wealth" while the floor slowly drained their experience.
『[Donation - 1,500 Coins] [User: Small_Change_Goblin]: "LOOK AT THAT GOLD! You just walked past a chest of Star-Sapphires! Are you blind? You’re leaving a fortune on the table just to play Wreck-It Ralph."』
Kang Min stopped.
He looked at the chest, then directly into the camera lens.
"That gold isn’t real.
It’s a mana parasite.
If you pick up one of those coins, your Agility drops.
If you stay here to count them, your Stamina stops recovering for twenty-four hours."
He kicked a chest over.
The gold inside was hollow, filled with a grey, parasitic fungus.
"These aren’t treasures.
The only currency that matters in the Tower is the time you have left to reach the top.
I’m not here to be a rich corpse but to clear the floor."
『The Constellation 「The Merchant of the Crimson Moon」 is impressed by your insight.』
『The Constellation 「The One Who Enjoys High-Speed Chases」 is clapping their hands at your speed!』
For the next forty minutes, the stream witnessed something that had never been broadcast in the history of Korean Climbing.
Kang Min used [Exchange] to swap himself with the chandeliers on the ceiling to skip over pressure plates.
When he hit a dead end"designed to force him back through the maze, he didn’t turn around and used [Singularity: Compression].
He would place his hand against the load-bearing pillars and crush the stone inward.
As the columns snapped and the ceilings began to buckle, Min simply Exchanged himself with a falling piece of debris to appear in the next section of the maze.
"Why walk the path when you can just move the destination?"
『[Viewer_88]: This is insane. He’s traveling in a straight line toward the boss room!』
『[Pro_Climber_V]: I spent three days on the Ruby Riddle... this guy is just deleting what he sees...how’s that fair lolol.』
[Skill - Singularity has LeveledUp!]
Kang Min felt the surge of the coins he’d dumped into his stats.
He felt faster, sharper.
Every wall he punched through felt like he was tearing a hole in the Tower’s ego.
He reached the final barrier that was a massive, vaulted door made of solid mythril.
Behind it lay the Boss, the Greed-Eater Spirit.
Usually, you needed three "Keys of Sacrifice" to open it.
"I don’t have the keys..."
Kang Min said, looking at the mythril.
"But I don’t need them."
He placed both hands on the door.
The blue magma in the Hands of Ruin flared purple as he pushed his mana to the limit.
「[Compression].」
The mythril that was supposedly indestructible began to scream.
The metal folded in on itself like a piece of tin foil being crushed in a giant’s hand.
SKREEEEE—CRUNCH.
The doors imploded into a jagged ball of scrap.
Kang Min stepped over the wreckage into the boss chamber.
The Greed-Eater Spirit, a mass of shifting shadows and golden eyes, didn’t even have time to finish its roar.
Kang Min was already in the air.
「[Exchange].」
He Appeared behind the creature and drove his right fist reinforced with the Right Hand of Ruin directly into the spirit’s core.
"You’re standing in my way."
The spirit exploded in a shower of golden sparks.
Not because of a puzzle, but because Min had crushed its internal core before it could even register he was there.
The arena fell silent.
The cloying scent of gold evaporated.
Kang Min stood in the center of the room, his mask still perfectly in place.
"Time check?"
He asked.
『[Mod_A]: 52 minutes... Oh my god. The previous record was 14 hours.』
『[Small_Change_Goblin]: ...I’m not even going to troll. You didn’t even look at the loot.』
Suddenly, the system didn’t just notify Min.
It notified every player on earth.
『[SYSTEM]: A WORLD-CLASS FEAT HAS BEEN ACHIEVED!』
『[SYSTEM]: Player 「Singularity」 has cleared the 7th Floor!』
『[SYSTEM]: Clear Time: 52 Minutes 14 Seconds (NEW WORLD RECORD).』
『[SYSTEM]: Clear Grade: SSS+ (Efficiency through Destruction).』
『The Constellation 「The Merchant of the Crimson Moon」 is throwing 10,000 coins at you in sheer shock!』
『The Constellation 「The Architect of Forgotten Ruins」 is weeping at the beauty of your destruction!』
Kang Min looked at the camera, the gold light reflecting in his eyes.
