Davis subconsciously extended his hand and caressed her pale white face, feeling human-like softness to it. His hand then moved above, his fingers touching her strange hair.

The texture of her crystalline hair appeared smooth, cool like a polished gemstone, but when he touched it, it was not much different than their own, soft and pleasant, even somewhat jelly yet not sticky.

Abruptly, her hair shone more brightly as though reflecting her emotional state, causing Davis to be mesmerized.

If it helped Myria, it helped him in the end, and even without that, he was glad to be able to help his Saintess wifey achieve her one and only dream, which was to solidify her Eternal Life Soul with Eternal Life Body. He created her, and Tina and Dalila re-concocted her, so it was like she already had a father and two mothers she trusted greatly. The urge to protect her was greater in his mind than absorbing energy from her that he actually felt funny recalling Myria's words that warned him not to get attached to a pill.

Eventually, he arrived at the chamber Myria was supposedly in and pushed it open after seeing that it was not locked.
