She almost pointed at him but forcefully restrained herself, not understanding why he would force himself to take a loss in every aspect, as everything he did right now was advantageous to her.

"Very good." Davis spoke with some satisfaction, "With this, we'll continue to remain allies as long as we wish for it."

A complicated smile emerged on his face as he felt a bit wasteful for letting go of the Voidslime Realm Eater's Core, but he didn't care if it ultimately protected those two who went out of their way to give him a second chance in life.
