As they were crossing a street, a Crossbow Arrow suddenly shot out from a tall building on the side of the street, flying toward Shu Feng like a shooting star.

A middle-aged man with his hair in numerous small braids emerged from a four-story building. He was two meters tall, burly as a bear, and his face was covered in scars. He exuded an iron-willed, fierce, and domineering aura as he looked down on Shu Feng’s group, his gaze cold as he spoke.

A cold glint flashed in Ye Mingxi’s beautiful eyes as she said icily, "Tage Mulis, Yaxiong City has always been a city of our Kang En Empire. You’re the ones who should get out!"

"You stubborn fool! In that case, I’ll send you on your way! The great Joyful Witch will surely be pleased with sacrifices like you! Especially you, Ye Mingxi, you will be the greatest sacrifice! As long as I offer you, the Joyful Witch will be delighted and allow us to ascend together to Her Divine Kingdom."

A cold light flashed in Tage Mulis’s eyes. He took out a pitch-black, bizarre Demon Whistle and blew it forcefully.

An incredibly strange whistle, filled with a bewildering power, rang out and spread in all directions.

Amidst the bizarre whistle, the eyes of the twenty giant species polluters that originally belonged to Shu Feng glazed over, and they fell into a state of confusion.

From that building, ten giant species polluters and dozens of Low Level polluters rushed out frantically.

Nearly one hundred of the Resman Empire’s Elite Crossbow Soldiers, clad in gray armor adorned with badges and wielding crossbows, fired upon the three powerhouses: Shu Feng, Camilla, and Ye Mingxi.

Zhao Zixing and the others, knowing their strength was low, all hid in the rear and did not show themselves. That was how they avoided this deadly trap.

Seven Kings of Goblins in steel armor appeared, holding Giant Shields to block for Shu Feng and Camilla. The Crossbow Arrows struck the Steel Shields and were all deflected.

A cold glint flashed in Shu Feng’s eyes. With a thought, the Central Control Tower within his Mysterious Base emitted faint ripples that spread outward.

The eyes of the twenty giant species polluters turned vacant. They charged madly toward the other ten giant species polluters, swinging the pillars in their hands and knocking them to the ground.

Ten of the giant species polluters stepped over the ones they had knocked down and charged directly toward the building where Tage Mulis was.

The Elite Crossbow Soldiers possessed intelligence, making them Shu Feng’s most dangerous enemies.

Tage Mulis’s eyes became bloodshot, flashing with disbelief. ’Ineffective? How is that possible? How could the Paradise Demon Whistle granted to us by the great Joyful Witch have failed?’

All this time, Tage Mulis had relied on the Secret Treasure, the Paradise Demon Whistle, to subdue ten giant species polluters and dozens of other polluters.

As long as they heard the sound of the Paradise Demon Whistle, the giant species polluters would become slaves to the Demon Whistle’s Magic Power, to be commanded by Tage Mulis. Now that the Paradise Demon Whistle was completely ineffective, Tage Mulis’s resolve began to waver.

The Elite Crossbow Soldiers of the Resman Empire all raised their crossbows and fired at the ten giant species polluters.

The giant species polluters shielded their chests with their hands.

The Crossbow Arrows pierced into the large hands or flesh of the giant species polluters, causing them to roar in pain and charge even faster.

A ferocious glint flashed in the eyes of one giant species polluter. It threw its pillar with great force, and it smashed into the building like a cannonball, blasting seven of the Resman Empire’s Elite Crossbow Soldiers into a pulp.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Three more giant species polluters also hurled the pillars in their hands, blasting over a dozen of the Resman Empire’s Elite Crossbow Soldiers into pulp.

"Damned lowly mongrels!! All of you, just die!" 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

A vicious light flashed in Tage Mulis’s eyes. He pressed the black badge on his chest, the one engraved with the figure of a giant bear—the Giant Bear Badge.

A faint black light flashed, and Tage Mulis was instantly clad in a suit of black Badge Armor that covered his entire body. In the center of the armor was an embedded giant bear’s head.

BOOM!

Tage Mulis stomped his foot, and the floorboards cracked. Using the terrifying rebound force, he shot forward like a cannonball, appearing before a giant species polluter. He swung his two-meter-long black greatsword and viciously slashed at the heart organ on the giant species polluter’s chest.

SPLAT!

The giant species polluter’s heart organ was instantly sliced open, and a large splash of mucus splattered all over Tage Mulis.

Tage Mulis rolled and landed, then pushed off with his foot. Using a strange Step Technique, he dodged the pillar attack of another giant species polluter. His sword, glowing with a black light, slashed at the polluter’s calf, severing it.

Just then, a white figure flashed. A thin sword, fast as a shooting star, thrust toward Tage Mulis from an incredibly tricky angle.

"Ye Mingxi!! You damned bitch, die!!"

A vicious light flashed in Tage Mulis’s eyes as he roared. He swung his greatsword at Ye Mingxi with wide, powerful, and domineering slashes.

Ye Mingxi’s thin sword seemed to have a life of its own. It conjured layers of sword-rings, guiding and leading Tage Mulis’s greatsword to the side.

Tage Mulis was like a giant bear of Infinite Strength, his Swordsmanship wild and unrestrained. Ye Mingxi, however, was like an incomparably nimble Spiritual Sparrow, agile and ethereal, completely tying down the terrifying powerhouse that was Tage Mulis.

With Tage Mulis no longer blocking them, the remaining eight giant species polluters charged into the building and began frantically hunting down the Badge Masters of the Resman Empire one by one.
