"What are you doing!" Mika Summers pouted in annoyance as she handed him her phone.

Tristan Grayson ignored her. He took the phone, went straight to her contacts, and deleted Aiden Avery’s information before handing it back.

Mika Summers swiped at her phone, confused, wanting to see what on earth Tristan Grayson had done to it. Just then, Tristan suddenly spoke in a stiff, unnatural tone, "It’s not good for pregnant women to use their phones. There’s radiation."

Mika Summers’s hands froze. She looked up at Tristan Grayson, utterly confused.

’Is he... concerned about me?’ Even though she knew he’d probably tampered with her phone, his words still made her heart warm.

"During your pregnancy, it’s best not to use your phone." As he spoke, Tristan Grayson snatched the phone from her and placed it on the bedside cabinet.

She smiled sweetly and nodded. "Okay..."

Tristan Grayson turned his head and saw her enchanting smile. Time seemed to freeze in that instant. He gazed at her, slightly mesmerized, as a restless corner of his heart began to pound relentlessly.

When Tristan Grayson noticed his own strange reaction, he awkwardly averted his gaze, his handsome face flushing uncomfortably. But a moment later, he couldn’t resist looking back at her.

’This woman really knows how to be captivating! It seems I’ll have to keep a close eye on her from now on. The way she is, who knows when she might just cheat on me.’

Worried, she looked at Tristan and asked cautiously, "Are you staying here tonight, too?" ’Tristan has so much to do; there’s no way he’d want to stay here with me.’

"If I’m not here, who do you want to stay with you? That Avery of yours?" Her behavior was really starting to piss Tristan Grayson off. ’What’s with her? She doesn’t want me to stay? She’s all smiles for Aiden Avery, but when she faces me, she has a face like death.’

Tristan Grayson’s persistent questioning ruined Mika Summers’s good mood in an instant. She lowered her gaze, lay down on the bed, and turned her back to him, not wanting to deal with him.
