Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me-Chapter 134: Serious
The emotion in Tristan Grayson’s eyes was unreadable, but a smile remained on his lips. "A marriage certificate."
"A marriage certificate?" At his words, a tightness gripped Mika Summers’s chest. She felt it was suddenly hard to breathe.
"I’ve thought about it, and you’re right. A child does need a complete family." Whatever the reasons, he had made up his mind—he was going to be with her from now on.
Mika Summers’s eyes instantly reddened. Filled with disbelief, her voice trembled as she said, "Tristan, you..."
"Once you’ve recovered and you’re out of the hospital, let’s get remarried." Tristan Grayson probably didn’t even realize that his own voice held a slight tremor as he spoke.
’He wants to remarry me?’ "Tristan, are you serious?"
"Yes. And after you have the baby, we’ll hold a wedding ceremony..." ’I’ll let everyone know she’s my woman. Let’s see who dares try to take her from me then!’
’A wedding ceremony? Tristan wanting to remarry me was already shocking enough, but now he’s saying he wants to hold a wedding, too?’
’Does that mean I’m really going to be his wife?’
No one knew how long she had waited to hear those words, nor how many times she had fantasized about her wedding day with Tristan.
"Tristan, you’re not lying, are you? Is this for real?" His words had reignited all the longing and love she held for him.
She truly couldn’t stop herself from loving him. There was no way she could refuse him, not when he was talking about remarrying her and holding a wedding.
The man before her was the one she had loved for five years, the man she had given three years of her youth to, defying everything to marry him.
How could she possibly refuse him? She, Mika Summers, had never known how to say no to Tristan Grayson...
People could call her pathetic, but when she loved someone, she was always this hopelessly devoted...
Even if she ended up battered and bruised, she would do it all willingly...
"Mmm..." Seeing her reddened eyes, a wave of tenderness and heartache washed over Tristan Grayson.
"Tristan..." Overjoyed, she sat up in bed and threw her arms around him, her voice choked with emotion. "I knew you’d accept me one day."
Startled by Mika Summers’s sudden embrace, Tristan Grayson was shocked to see she had ripped the IV needle right out of her hand. "Hold still!" he snapped, his face darkening as he gently pushed her away. A wave of heartache washed over him when he saw her hand was still bleeding. "You’re such an idiot!"
"Tristan, your hand..." Mika Summers’s eyes immediately fell on the bruise on his hand. Remembering how he’d punched the wall earlier, she reached out and took his hand in hers.
"I’m fine. You just lie down. I’ll go get a doctor." A warmth spread through Tristan Grayson’s chest at her gesture, but he awkwardly pulled his hand back and spoke in a low voice.
"Okay..."
As she watched Tristan leave, a blush crept up her face. She pressed a hand to her wildly pounding heart, his recent words replaying over and over in her mind.
’He was scolding me, but he was worried about me.’
’This side of him only made her fall for him even more...’
Before long, Tristan Grayson returned with a doctor.
The doctor hooked her up to a new bag of IV fluids, instructed her not to move around anymore, and then left.
Lying in her hospital bed, she gathered her courage and secretly studied the man sitting on the sofa across the room.
At that moment, Tristan Grayson was sitting elegantly on the sofa, reading a magazine.
’It was as if the past few moments hadn’t happened at all.’
She couldn’t help but feel a pang of disappointment. Even now, her heart refused to calm down.
She was buzzing with excitement...
’All she could think about was that he wanted to remarry her and even hold a wedding...’
