Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me-Chapter 92: Bottom Line
"My brother?"
Cassian Jennings let out a sinister laugh. "Stop playing dumb," he said, his voice chilling. "Didn’t you have your brother send people to go after Gia?"
"Why would I do that?" ’It was true she couldn’t stand that Gia Miller, and she was jealous because Gia was always messing around with Cassian. But she, Amelia Avery, was far too proud to ever stoop to such vicious, underhanded tactics.’
’If she wanted to teach Gia a lesson, she would have done it to her face. Cassian had known her since childhood; shouldn’t he, of all people, know what she was like?’
’So why was he slandering her like this?’
"You know exactly why you did it, don’t you? Listen up, Amelia Avery. Even if I got together with Gia Miller, I would never, ever be with you. So just get that idea out of your head."
Hearing Cassian’s words, the color drained from Amelia Avery’s face. She trembled, taking two steps back before steadying herself. A self-deprecating smile touched her lips as she said faintly, "So, you’d rather like a woman like Gia Miller than ever possibly like me?"
"That’s right. You and me... we’re never going to happen."
"Fine. I get it. Cassian Jennings, I swear I will make you regret what you said today!" Amelia Avery raised a hand, pointing at him, her eyes red. After shouting those words at him, she turned and ran off in tears. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
"..." Watching Amelia run off, Cassian suddenly felt exhausted. The rage from moments ago had completely vanished.
His expression grim, he turned and pulled out his phone to call Aiden Avery. ’It was one thing if Aiden wanted revenge on him, but hiring people to humiliate Gia Miller was going too far. And there was no way he could just let this go.’
’Gia Miller was also from a prestigious family; their background was every bit as powerful as the Avery Family’s. By doing this, wasn’t Aiden afraid the Miller Family would investigate? Since Aiden Avery clearly didn’t get it, Cassian would have to make him understand.’

After showering and changing, Tristan Grayson and Mika Summers returned to the Grayson estate. His grandmother’s burial was the next day, so they had to remain there for the entire day.
On the way, Mika snuck several glances at him, wanting to see if he would actually call that woman back.
’But he looked as though the thought of that woman hadn’t even crossed his mind, which made her feel a little better.’
’She had assumed that woman was very important to him, but it seemed that wasn’t the case after all. It just went to show; how could a cold-hearted person like Tristan Grayson possibly have human feelings?’
’Apparently not.’
Even before the car reached the Grayson estate, she could see the white funeral couplets posted on the family home from a distance.
Her mood, which had just begun to lift, immediately plummeted.
After getting out of the car, Tristan Grayson glanced at her and said in a cold voice, "Let’s go. What are you spacing out for?"
"Oh..." She nodded and quickly followed after Tristan.
The moment she stepped through the main gates of the Grayson home, she saw crowds of strangers.
They all greeted Tristan with great enthusiasm upon seeing him, but he merely gave a cold nod, not exchanging a single word with any of them.
’She felt a bit intimidated by all these strangers in the courtyard and the house.’
She hurried her steps to keep close to Tristan. He seemed to sense she was falling behind and unconsciously slowed his pace. When she finally caught up to his side, he turned, naturally took her hand in his, and led her toward the second floor.
