Dominance Evolution System: Sweat, Sex, and Streetball-Chapter 190: Most Wanted
The next day, Nash was sitting on the edge of the bed, sheets tangled around his waist. It was 1 p.m. by the clock on the wall.
From the kitchen, he could smell something cooking, onions, chicken, the familiar sizzle that meant Zayela was already up and moving.
Maybe not already, he was so damn late...
He rubbed his face, feeling the ache in his muscles, the soreness in his hips from the girls’ ride.
The longest day was over, very fruitful, but now, it was time to go back to the grind.
Alright, he thought.
A gold panel appeared in his vision.
[Choice Pending]
One girl from the Alpha list may be selected for a rare quest.
Possible Paths:
Jaz Path / Nia Path / Alicia Path / Rei Path / Aiko Path / Miko Path / Hina Path / Kai Path / Victoria Path / Dahlia Path
Nash leaned back against the headboard, analyzing each option.
Jaz first.
A formidable monument that he would have loved to conquer if it were one month earlier, but now, she was his. Loyal, strong, locked in at near-max affection.
There wasn’t really a need to try harder; their natural relationship was good enough to lead to something with her.
Basically, a rare quest with her would be hot, sure, but predictable.
He’d get more stats, more bond, but it wouldn’t open new doors.
Nia and Alicia next.
Both deep in his rotation, eager, easy wins. But again, he already had them.
No real challenge there.
The Baby-Boom girls next: Rei, Aiko, Miko, Hina, and Kai.
Rei was ice, prideful, a man-hater. The hardest to reach, with her triggers probably involves making a joke of himself.
A quest with her could force her walls down, maybe even flip her team. Then there was an obvious choice: Aiko. Her quest was still unfinished; that "befriend" condition that hadn’t been fulfilled despite the intense moment from yesterday.
But this exact event made the choice easier. She was fun to tease, and her rival bond was easy to fuel. Getting to her was just a matter of asking, so maybe he didn’t need a special quest for that.
Miko, Kai, and Hina were... interesting. But none of them carried the same weight as the others.
Dahlia, low priority. A quest with her might give insight, but with her triggers, maybe the finality would be to be a good captain, or get close to Victoria’s secret.
And this opened the most obvious choice, the real matter here.
Victoria herself.
The ovni.
Ice queen in that black robe, like she was constantly coming for someone’s funeral, sharp tongue, older, untouchable.
She was a walking anomaly, and despite often thinking he could just use the triggers to get to her, he didn’t make any progress. Nash had never seen her crack, never even seen her smile for something other than someone’s getting degraded.
A quest with her wasn’t like the others; it was the best way to get closer to her, to reach that untouchable woman.
He stared at her name the longest.
Aiko’s quest was still on; Rei’s path could help in the short term.
But Victoria...
Victoria was the unknown.
The one he didn’t understand yet.
The one quest he previously regretted not having chosen.
He exhaled slowly.
"Well, easy choice then," he muttered. "Victoria."
The panel glowed.
[Rare Quest Unlocked – "The Silent Shadow"]
Step 1: Observe Victoria for 7 days without her noticing. Document her routines, weaknesses, and who she trusts.
Step 2: Use the intel to solve a major team problem she’s been hiding and help her find the solution.
Reward: +10% Trust from Victoria, +5 BP.
Risk: If she catches you spying, permanent -20% Trust.
Special Condition: Victoria’s triggers, sexual preferences, and risk factors are locked until quest completion.
Nash stared at the screen, at first calm, eyebrows raised.
"Oh... so there it is. So, observe her for a week without getting caught. Document everything. Then use it to fix some big problem she’s hiding."
He nodded to himself, calmly understanding the assignment, and then...
"Permanent... wait what? What the fuck is.... UH?!"
He finally noticed the special condition.
His eyes widened.
He read it again, and again, slower, but the meaning was never different.
"No way..."
The quest asked him to find Victoria’s secrets, but the best way to do so was frozen.
He leaned forward, staring at the line like a traitor punishing him for not having tried earlier.
"That’s... how in the what... The whole system is built on knowing that shit. And it’s just... taking it away?"
He sat there, mouth open a little, processing like an old computer.
The preferences, the triggers, the way he could read people, that was the edge that let him turn everything around.
And now the system was saying no? Why? Just why??
He let out a short laugh.
"These quests are getting fucking insane."
He knew rare quests were different.
Daily ones were simple, grind drills, flirt, do some pushups, easy points.
But rare quests?
They were Hell.
The rewards were huge, but the risks were permanent now.
One mistake with Victoria and she’d never trust him again.
Not -10. Not -15.
Permanent -20%.
It meant he could at his maximum effort be stuck at 80%, not bad, but there was a big difference in reaction depending on the percentage.
Usually at 80% he was on the verge of succeeding anything with a girl, but even at 90% some of them had still some control.
Imagine someone as cold as Victoria being stuck at 80%. Imagine if there would be more penalties in the future...
Nash rubbed his face with both hands, exhaling hard.
"This is crazy."
But there was no point complaining. Right now, the priority was to succeed the quest.
He thought about it.
"A major team problem she’s hiding... What the hell could that be?"
He thought about it.
The team had clicked fast after he joined.
He’d built bonds, turned weak players into aces, got everyone moving together.
But maybe the fact that it was all focused on one gender was the reason there was a crack? 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝚠𝕖𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝕖𝚕.𝚌𝗼𝗺
Maybe it was about Baby-Boom, how he’d create new bonds with the boys, created hope, just for them to be left alone, thirsty, while he went from girls to girls with an orgy in the end.
They’d be right to hate him.
But it could be also about Jinzo.
At this moment, the one he should be concerned about the most was definitely him.
What if he was talking? Spreading the truth that happened in the locker room?
Maybe it was something like sponsors, money, old grudges Victoria wasn’t telling anyone.
And this last though gave him a serious hint.
He glanced at the panel again.
"Wait... the quest is asking me to spy on Victoria... Is this really about me? Or is there something going on in the background?"
The quest was saying that she was hiding a major problem. It couldn’t be anything that had happened the past two days, it should be mostly related to her past.
He sat there a minute, thinking.
No hint, no clue, no cheat.
He had to deal with the hardest character with his creativity as a weapon.
He exhaled, then nodded to himself.
"Alright. Let’s do it."
He stood up, stretched, feeling the soreness in his body, and headed for the shower.
Time to start watching.
