During the dinner at the Griffith Family’s, the elders were quite satisfied with Cherish Turner, especially the grandmother who couldn’t stop praising Cherish.

Grandfather was more reserved, saying they should observe the young couple for a while longer and meet both families’ parents before drawing further conclusions. All in all, the Griffith Family was pretty positive about their potential daughter-in-law.

Mother Griffith even felt sure that Cherish was destined to be her daughter-in-law! She took out a jade bracelet, passed down through generations of their family, and put it on Cherish’s wrist. Cherish was so startled that she hastily refused.

Since she was just pretending to be part of the family, how could she accept such a valuable gift?

“Take it if that’s what they’re offering.” William Griffith, who was watching from the side, suddenly said. Now, Cherish was caught in a dilemma between accepting it and rejecting it.
