"Every ten level-ups, my attribute points should increase by +5, but this time, there’s no increase. It’s still at 15 even though I already crossed Level 30," Ryuk mused, quickly noticing the oddity. But there wasn’t much he could do about it.

"Maybe there will be a difference when I reach Level 40."

Currently sitting under a tree, using branches and leaves to cover himself, Ryuk carefully considered how to distribute his strength. He knew exactly what he needed most right now.

"Input 70 points to Strength, 70 points to Agility, and the rest into Endurance!" he ordered.

Ryuk’s thinking was simple. For reasons he couldn’t explain, he felt unusually slow in this place. He understood one thing clearly—if he wanted to survive, the first thing he needed was speed to escape danger. That’s why his first priority was Agility, where he poured in 70 attribute points.

Looking down at his feet, Ryuk noticed strange tattoos stretching across both legs, extending from his toenails to his knees. There was no clear pattern, yet he faintly felt that they formed a symbol—one he couldn’t recognize...for now.

A blue light flickered along the markings, specks of energy seeping from them. His hands instinctively moved toward them, his fingers tracing over the glowing runic lines.

But as he did, his gaze shifted to his arms—and his breath hitched.

The same runic lines covered his arms, spilling out faint blue light from his fingertips to his shoulders. His arms suddenly felt weightless, as if they no longer carried any strength—yet at the same time, his hands filled him with an eerie sense of power.

"Hey, System… what is this?" Ryuk murmured, the unfamiliar sight making him forget the pain he had just endured.

He was well hidden on the tree, with the leaves blocking anything from seeing him above or below, yet there was now a claw inches from him and he never sensed it all.
