Dragon System: Red Dragon Legacy-Chapter 68: Who Exactly Are You
In her usual place, the Madam—Sabrina, as Orion knew her—sat calmly upon her throne.
Before her knelt a man named Oscar, his head lowered respectfully.
"Did you find anything about that boy?" she asked indifferently.
"No, Madam," Oscar replied. "I checked everything. Even the other kingdoms where our operations extend... but nothing."
He clenched his fists. "It’s as if he appeared out of thin air."
"That boy truly is something," Sabrina murmured thoughtfully. "To think he could hide his steps even from my network... impressive."
Oscar glanced up, noticing the rare contemplative expression on her face.
"Madam," he said carefully, "may I ask a question, if you don’t mind?"
"Oh?" she replied lazily. "Go on."
"Don’t you think you’re getting distracted by that boy?" Oscar asked, his voice steady despite his unease. "For days, all we’ve done is talk about him. I admit he has strange powers and a mysterious background—but what about our real goal? We can’t forget why we’re all here."
The moment the words left his mouth, Oscar regretted them.
Sabrina’s aura exploded outward, crashing down on him like a mountain.
Oscar gritted his teeth as blood dripped from the corner of his mouth.
"Are you doubting me?" she asked coldly.
"No—Madam—I’m sorry! Please forgive me!" Oscar gasped.
The pressure vanished.
"We’re focusing on him because I believe he’s connected to our goal," Sabrina said calmly, her eyes distant.
Oscar steadied himself and narrowed his gaze.
"How so?"
"When I met the boy," she said slowly, "he asked me whether I was related to the Red Dragon."
Oscar’s eyes widened.
"What? Why would he even ask something like that...? Only if he already knows—"
Suddenly, realization struck him.
"Do you think... he’s one of us?"
Sabrina sighed. "I don’t know. Not yet."
She stared off into the distance.
It wasn’t just his words that troubled her—it was his abilities.
When her subordinates reported Orion’s skills, she was already impressed and a little curious. But after seeing his teleportation skill firsthand, she was completely baffled. She couldn’t understand how he did it or where the power came from. She had only ever heard of such a skill in books or in stories speculating what it would be like if someone actually had it.
’Who exactly are you...?’
The thought gnawed at her relentlessly, curiosity slowly turning into obsession.
Back at the hospital, Orion was chatting with Estaban, Lloyd, and Martin.
"So," Orion said after enough idle talk, "did you do as I asked?"
"Yes," Lloyd replied quietly. "I went to your shop, showed the manager your letter, and she prepared the warehouse. What do you want me to do next?"
"For now, just keep practicing alchemy there," Orion said. He then turned to Estaban.
"And you? Any news?"
Estaban’s expression grew serious.
"I do. You wouldn’t believe how many nobles are already rumored to be part of the New World Order."
Orion’s eyes narrowed.
They’re more powerful than I thought.
"And that’s not all," Estaban continued. "The fight for the throne has already begun."
Everyone nodded. This news wasn’t exactly new to them.
Estaban was about to continue when a healer entered, delivering potions for Orion.
"Probably not the best place to talk about this," Estaban muttered once the healer left.
He pulled out several folded papers from his pocket and handed them to Orion.
"Here. I wrote everything down in detailed once you finished reading tell me my next task."
Orion glanced over them, impressed.
’This guy has some serious determination.’
"By the way," Estaban added, "don’t you think we should name our little club?"
"That’s not a bad idea," Orion said. "Any suggestions?"
They brainstormed for a while, but every name was either taken or embarrassingly bad.
"...Let’s think about it another time," Orion finally said.
Later that day, Orion met up with Lilian and Sofia.
They spent some time together before finally heading towards home.
Orion and Lilian rode back home in a carriage after dropping Sofia off.
Orion chuckled softly.
"I can’t believe that this morning you couldn’t even look at me—and now you’re my girlfriend, heading home with me."
"Shut up," Lilian muttered. "It was your fault I was mad in the first place."
After arriving home, he greeted Axl and Max, and after a quick shower, Orion finally went to rest.
—
Later that night
Orion woke to the sweetest scent he had ever experienced.
When he opened his eyes, Lilian was above him, wearing a red nightgown.
His breath caught.
"What are you doing?" Orion asked as he sat up.
"What does it look like?" she said, trying to sound confident despite her flushed face. "We’re going to have sex."
"...Are you serious?" Orion asked, rubbing his eyes sleepily.
Once he fully took her in, he was mesmerized.
The nightgown barely covered her figure. Despite all her intense training, her skin was smooth and flawless. Her curled hair, styled specially for this, and her crimson lips made her look like a femme fatale straight out of a noir film.
"D-Don’t stare at me like that," Lilian said, embarrassed.
Orion quickly snapped out of his trance and grew serious.
"Lilian... why are you really doing this?"
"Is it because you truly want to—or because Sofia already did it?"
Lilian looked away—it was clearly the latter.
"Your first time is important—you’ll remember it for the rest of your life," Orion said gently. "If you’re not ready, you don’t have to go through with it."
He took her hand, pulling her closer.
"Just because I slept with Sofia doesn’t mean I love you any less."
He met her eyes. "Tell me—do you feel my love for you is weaker?"
Lilian looked into his gaze and felt the intensity there.
She smiled softly.
"You’re right... I just felt a little left out."
Orion smiled back.
"Then how about this," he said mischievously. "Even if we don’t go all the way... let me take care of you tonight."
Lilian swallowed.
Without wasting a second, Orion flipped her over. Now, Lilian was pinned beneath him.
He pulled up her nightgown, exposing her lace panties.
"Wait—" she whispered.
Orion didn’t stop. He moved closer, his breath warm against her skin. Lilian’s eyes went wide.
The scent of her hit him like a wave. It made his head spin. He was so close to losing all control, his heart thumping hard against his ribs.
He took a deep breath and forced himself to stay calm.
’No,’ he thought. ’Tonight is all about her.’
He leaned down even further, moving closer than ever.
Then—
"Ahhh~!"
